I really wanted to like this foundation, I'm always on the lookout for the 'perfect' foundation, that makes me look flawless. The first thing you notice about this product is the smell - it is calming, smells of cucumber! The bottle has a pump which is great, Estee Lauder should take note for Double Wear!! Once I've moisturised my skin the foundation goes on pretty smoothly. The consistency is so light and looks PERFECT.......................................for about 1 minute. For some reason this foundation just dries SPLOTCHY on me, it looks absolutely dreadful! I'm so disapponted, it just does not seem to work with my skin at all. Back to Double Wear!
I don't know about this one...I was a bit disappointed with this one: Disadvantages(for me): The formula is a bit gloopy and it made a mess around my eyelids The formula didn't seem to stick to my lashes very well, meaning that it needed several coats to even appear noticable The false eyelash effect they promise isn't all that it's been hyped up to be Advantages: The curved shape of the brush manages to grab most eyelashes and give somewhat of a fanned out effect Cute packaging! I needed 3 coats for it to match the length and volume of my 1 coat of Lash Stiletto. I don't think I would buy this again, for me it was a disappointment and Lash Stiletto performs alot better for my eyes.
Gosh...I'm in two minds about this product. After reading on here all the reviews, I figured this stuff would be a god send. After trying it out for 2 weeks, I just feel...'eh' about it. This foundation works for someone who has good, clear normal skin. I am prone to breakouts & have combo skin, and this product highlights flakes on my face I didn't know I had!!! Coverage is light/medium, is buildable and best applied with your fingers. Even though it highlighted every flake on my face, it did last pretty much all day on my skin. I usually have problems with foundation on the folds on my nose, but this blended in great. It also felt absolutely weightless, to the point I was paranoid it wasn't on my face and kept looking in the mirror! When my skin isn't as dry & is clearer, I will probably buy this product again. Until then, I guess I'm stuck with Cliniques Dewy Smooth!!
I received a sample of this yesterday whilst topping up on my favorite Chanel lipgloss. To be honest I didn't expect much from this, as from experience high end mascaras are overpriced and don't even live up to drugstore makeup. As I prefer the glam drama look to natural lashes, I am always on the lookout for a mascara to give me the falsh eyelash effect. Well............I AM IMPRESSED. 2 coats of this and lashes are DARK, long and very full. I look like I am wearing falsies! After wearing through a full day it humidity, I experienced no flaking or panda eyes. I am definitely going to go back to the Chanel counter and buy this!!!!!!!! For girls that like the drama look, go buy this seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE 16/08/09 - I went and bought this today in smoky noir - this stuff is my HG for now, it does exactly what I want. You need to make sure you turn the brush as you swipe it up your eyelashes as the brush is half comb/bristles. This seems to stop it clumping and makes them sooooooooo long!!

Ok..so I got cornered by a Benefit sales assistant and got bullied into her doing my makeup - I looked like a drag queen. Then she convinced me to get my eyebrows done. My eyebrows are quite sparse after too much plucking and she managed to talk me into going to the brow bar and getting them tinted. Which I did. It took about 20 minutes to get them shaped and waxed. After I got home and removed the hideous makeup, I examined my eyebrows and noticed that the wax job and plucking was crap, and I had to tidy it up myself! The only thing I was happy with is she managed to get my eyebrows arched nicely. Would I use them again for my brows? Probably not, felt the 18 year old was too inexperienced in the brow department!! UPDATE 16/08/09 - went back for my next appointment to get brows tinted, arched and plucked. Absolutely crap, got home and AGAIN had to finish the job the 'brow expert' was supposed to have done. I have lowered my score to a 1, and will not be returning.
This blush gives such a pretty girly glow to your cheeks - as I use bronzer I like a pop of a bright color on my apples to contrast. This gives me that! Would recommend for any skin tone, it is a light lavendar/pink and is very buildable.

I don't like this - I tried it for a few days and the texture of my skin turned HORRIBLE. The salyic acid in it is too strong - if you have sensitive skin AVOID.
I bought this Mascara after seeing it on TV and thought OOOOOOOOOOOOH! The brush is pretty awesome, as I do find you can get into the corners to the lashes that usually get missed. But - the formula is bog standard. There is nothing special about it at all and it is too runny. I couldn't curl my lashes with this. Would not buy again.
I have never been a fan of Benefit Products - I think the packaging sells the product, which from what I've tried has been poor quality. Saying that, I'm always on the lookout for a new concealer. I literally must have at least 50 concealers, majority from MAC. As I've got older, my skin has become more blemished and I have alot of darkness under my eyes which I am paranoid about so am always trying to find THE product that will prove to be a miracle of them. Closest I've got is Bobbi Brown corrector and MAC studio finish concealer combined. So I was browsing Benefit the other day as I gotta admit I do like looking at all the different packagings - and I got cornered by a sales lady who obviously figured I was a sucker and somehow she managed to get me to buy Erase Paste in #2 and You're Bluffing wand(which I will review later). I took this home and tried this out - and to my surprise it's AWESOME!!! #2 is a very orangey colour but it works well at cancelling any blue/purple tinged darkness under the eyes. I then apply a lighter MAC concealer over this and the combination makes me eyes look bright and less tired than ever!! I would say this product is pretty much like Bobbi Brown corrector - it doesn't last quite as long though as is more of a runny consistency so you will have to reapply throughout the day. It also creases alot more and you will need to keep smoothing it. Good work Benefit, you may have converted me. Will update once I've used this for a while!

So far, I can honestly say this is the best moisturizer I've ever used and it smells divine! My skin is so sensitive it can't handle most products I use - but this moisturizer has been a godsend!!! It makes my makeup last longer and I've had less breakouts since using this. The packaging is cute, but the neck of the tub is too narrow and I think there's going to be a few problems trying to scoop it out once I've used the majority of it up. But that really isn't a problem at all considering what it does to my skin!! So far so good, will update after I've used it for a full month. I've given this a 5 because this seriously is HG for me at the moment. UPDATE: Nearly two months later and I am still using this under my foundation. This does not contribute to breakouts on my sensitive skin and seems to help keep everything in place througout the day. 10 thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this stuff, I'm so impressed. I bought this after watching reviews on Youtube and am sooooooooooooooo glad I did it's worth every penny. It comes in quite a big round container, which isn't very handy for travel. The consistency of it is like a cream and you need quite a small dense brush to use to sweep up the product. The glow this product gives is fantastic. The color is more on the orange side than brown but the color it distributes is the most believable tan from a bronzer I've ever used. Even after a full day of wearing this at work I still look fantastic in conjunction with Mat Lumiere foundation. I really recommend this product to people looking for a bronzer that doesn't leave you looking cakey. Good work Chanel, this is HG for me!! UPDATE 26/07/2009: I am still using this stuff religiously after applying my foundation. It gives such a lovely glow and helps powder foundation/blush stay in place during the day. I think this might make me break out a little still, but nothing severe enough that I would stop using this.

I've been using this foundation for 2 weeks now and I quite like it. Previously I have used clinique dewy smooth for years but decided I needed to find something else as I realized I looked a goopy mess by the end of the work day. I have really sensitive skin and EVERYTHING makes me break out. I have recently found out I cannot use powder makeup on my skin as something in it really irritates my skin and causes cystic acne. I think this foundation makes me break out a little as all foundations do, but nothing like what I've previously experienced. So I've been on the lookout for a foundation with a staying matt effect as I cannot wear powder to blot away oil. After reading the reviews on here for this product I wasn't expecting much but am pleasantly surprised. It reminds me of a high end, more concentrated version of revlon colorstay. It is quite a thick product and you need to work it into your skin pretty fast. I use several coats of it with a foundation brush to get the desired coverage effect I need. It leaves you with a matt, streak free natural look! The staying power is quite excellent too, there is minimal cakeyness by the end of the work day. Unlike revlon colorstay, it is easier to remove at the end of the day. I wouldn't say this is HG, but I will definitely use up the bottle and continue to purchase it unlike the other 12837217 foundations I have!! ****UPDATE**** My skin has to be pretty clear to use this stuff I've found. I had a pretty bad breakout recently and this stuff did NOTHING for it. Even with the combination of concealer it didn't help. I am back using my Cliniqye Dewy Smooth and don't think I'll be straying for a while!
I got the worst reaction to this, I had an angry red rash all over for weeks. My skin still hasn't recovered. Stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate to bring the score of this down as it looked sooooooooooo nice on me - but this broke me out in a matter of HOURS. I have blemish prone skin, but OH MY GOD I cannot believe the damage this caused in only a few hours. If you have really sensitive skin, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't use this!!!!!! I will stick to my MAC blot powder. As the saying goes - if it ain't broke don't fix it!!!
I nearly didn't buy this after reading the bad reviews on here - I'm so glad I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Goes to show what doesn't work for some people works for others. To start off with, I don't have bad lashes. I have quite long, but straight lashes. This makes them really really long and............pretty for lack of a better word. It doesn't do much in volume, so if it's volume you're after this isn't the mascara for you!! I have had no problems with clumping or smudging like other reviewers have complained about. This is definitely my mascara of the moment!!
