Polishes -Essence - Nail Polish

What can I say, for $1.49 at Shoppers you can't go wrong! I just purchased this polish in Lime Up! (neon green) and it goes on fairly well. 3 coats to get totally opaque (the way I like it) and it was fairly streaky until I realized to load the brush right up. I love the small bottle size since I always feel like i waste polish as it thickens before I finish it. Nice bright pigments, I can't wait to try other shades!

Mascara -Dejavu (Imju) - Fiberwig Lash Knockout

So I've been on the fence about this product for a while now. I saw it at Sephora a while ago and was SO EXCITED to try it out, as I had just read an article about how awesome a mascara it was. So I brought it home and tried it out. SO unimpressed. It gave me NO volume, and not much lengthening. So it's been kicking around in my makeup bag for a while. Every so often I would give it a try again, and it still didn't impress. So today I pulled it out and decided if it didn't impress me it was going. I put on one coat and let it dry. Then, I put on a second coat, but instead of the usual swiping of the lashes I usually do, I put the wand OVER my lashes with my eye closed, and twisted the wand then pulled through my lashes. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. It applied a nice thick, long coat to my lashes, not clumpy at all, and not spidery. It definitely looks like I'm wearing false lashes and I've decided he's a keeper!

Highlighters -Quo - Crushed Diamonds

This was the first Quo product I had ever bought (waaaay back in 2001) and I have gotten SO much use out of it, and it literally has lasted me forever. Not something I use everyday, but it is a wonderful shimmer and highlight for those special occasions. I use it on my collarbones, cheekbones, and browbones. It is a very nice shimmer powder that is slightly iridescent

Polishes -OPI - Princesses Rule

This is the nail polish I wear the most often. Definitely very versatile! You can wear it alone as a sheer, it looks very classy and subtle. Also you can layer it up to a more opaque baby pink, very 3 dimensional looking because of the shimmer. Also I use it over other nail polishes to give them a sheen, especially my light opaques (I especially like it over Revlon's top speed Lily)

Amazing nail polish! 2 coats and it's a perfect opaque pale lilac. Looks great! Dries quickly and is quite chip-resistant. Would definitely recommend this nail polish for all the girls out there who like the pale milky shades!

Polishes -Revlon - Top Speed - Jaded #320

I would have to agree with the previous review, it is a very nice colour, but it took FOREVER to get a nice opaque look. 4 coats later, I have lost my patience. Good thing it dries quickly! Looks nice on paler skin tones, but I don't know that I would buy it again...

Eye Shadow -MAC - Tempting (LUSTRE)

FAVOURITE EYESHADOW BY FAR! This was my first MAC purchase and since then it has been my go-to e/s, I can wear it alone for a nice day look, or incorporate it into an awesome golden brown smoky eye for night. I don't notice much fallout as some others have mentioned, but be sure to tap the brush out, it works much better that way!

Bronzers -Quo - Faux Glow 1

Good bronzer, but go light if you are very fair like I am. Lasts forever since a little goes a long way and definitely gives a healthy and realistic glow!

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

Good highlighter, but I rarely use it as such since I look like a glitter ball (just like many other reviewers). Instead I use it as a subtle eyeshadow for while I'm at work. I just lightly sweep it from lashline to browbone for a bit of a lift without looking like I'm all made up (I work as a vet tech so heavy makeup is a no-no while at work). Does the job well, I only wish there was a mirror with the compact...

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expertwear eye shadow in Creme de Cocoa

Nice matte shadow. As a redhead I use it as a brow filler, it has that nice auburn tone that works well for the purpose, as well as not having any sheen. Have also used as a shadow and I have to say it is a nice everyday shade. Not too flashy but a good everyday wear!
