Liquid -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation
Spazzy 1/27/2013 4:49:00 PM
Loving this. I bought the Buff Beige shade, which is pretty much a perfect match for me, NW25ish. I'm a bit more neutral though. My skin tends to be quite dry in the winter, and normal in the summer, but this applied like a dream. I use a cheap brush from Walmart, the HD angled blush brush, and this stuff stippled on amazingly. Lasted all day, covered my rosacea SO well. It is fairly matte. I didn't need undereye concealer with this either. I did rate it a 3 for price, but then again, all DS fdtn's are getting up there in price anymore...I'd give this a 5 for fdtn though. Love the fdtn, the bottle, the pump, everything. It reminds me of my beloved MAC SFF

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #217 Blending
Spazzy 10/27/2011 11:00:00 AM
Honestly, I have no idea how I ever blended shadow without this. I can't find a comparable brush anywhere. So soft, yet dense enough that it blends like an absolute dream. Perfect size for adding just a teeny bit more shadow to the crease and blending if need be, I've had mine for almost a year, and constantly wash it because I use so many different color, It looks like the day I got it. I haven't tried mine for concealer, I'm waiting til I get some more of these to do that. If you have any doubts about this brush, erase them and get it. You won't be sorry!

Mascara -MAC - Zoom lash
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:56:00 AM
OMG. This gives me the full on drama lashes I so crave. So full, yet separated and not clumpy, no smudging or flaking. If you think L'oreal Voluminous (my DS favorite) gives you drama lashes, try this. It's a step above. The only complaint I could possibly have, and it's not the product, is I don't have access to it IRL, so I have to order online. Not a problem for a mascara that has attained HG status for me. This blows any other mascara I've tried out of the water.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:50:00 AM
Would I buy again? Hell yes! I have the charcoal shade, so beautiful. I've had it since I was able to find it in my area, and I need to go get another because I'm almost out. I used to only wear black eyeliner, but this product changed that. I wear it every day, the only time I wear black now is going out at night. This little gem lasts all day, so smooth and creamy, it wears like iron on my waterline! As I said, I've had it for quite some time now, and just recently had to use a few drops of Visine to revive it a bit, good as new! I'd love to get the blue and green ones too. The packaging is glass just like MAC and BB, with the screw top lid. I've dropped it accidentally a few times, no chips at all.

Palettes -Urban Decay - 15 year anniversary palette
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:43:00 AM
Another absolutely great palette from UD. This palette has the most gorgeous packaging of all the palettes I have, the most smooth as silk, beautiful shadows. So many new shades, so many color combos to play with. I love the packaging, so sleek and pretty. Yet another perfect offering from UD. Grab it if you can!

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:30:00 AM
How in the world did I ever live without this? How? I've been using this product for 3+ years now. Oh, what to say that hasn't already been said. A little goes a long way! I use just a dab for my entire eye area, which for me includes my brows, lashes, and under eye area. Shadows go on true to color, they blend easily, no creasing, lasting power is amazing. My brows don't fade or smudge since I use a powder for them. Mascara doesn't smudge or flake, and I actually find this trick works better than a real mascara primer. Helps build volume, has the same effect as a mascara primer but better IMO. I don't have a problem at all w/ the genie bottle, I haven't used the new squeeze tube yet. I take the stopper out, and have no problems getting all the product out. I can't rave enough about this little gem.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows Vol. IV
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:22:00 AM
Ah, the newest addition to my family. I haven't gotten to play with this as much as I'd like, but I can already tell it's right up there with the previous Book of Shadows. Gravity and Blue Bus are quickly becoming favorites for a purple smokey eye. I haven't gotten to play with all the shades, but so far they all seem just as buttery and soft as the rest of UD's shadows. The mini mascara is surprisingly really good too!! I don't usually like curling mascaras, but this one is great! As with the others, I don't mind the packaging, just one more gorgeous palette I can display.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows Vol. III
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:18:00 AM
Definitely my favorite of all my BOS's. Loaded, Money & Kush make the most gorgeous green smokey eye. Same as with all the BOS's, soft buttery shadows, awesome lasting power, etc etc. I use this BOS more than any of them, I wish Money was a single shadow! I don't mind the bulkiness of any BOS's, I wouldn't depot mine for anything, I love displaying them. I honestly can't find anything bad to say about any Book of Shadows.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows [DISCONTINUED]
Spazzy 10/27/2011 10:04:00 AM
Ah, the original Book of Shadows. Still a favorite of mine. I got my BOS and BOS II from blog sales, and I couldn't be happier. I own all the UD BOS's, and all of them are much loved. I use any of them in almost every EOTD I do. The range of colors is insane, they're so soft and buttery, they apply like a dream. So easy to blend, and last all day and night for me. The glitter doesn't bother me at all, I have a trick for that. 99 cent glitter gel adhesive from Sally Beauty. World of difference for so cheap. I would buy any of my BOS's again no matter what, full retail or not.

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows - Alice in Wonderland [DISCONTINUED]

I bought this the day it was released at my Ulta. I've loved it ever since. Urban Decay definitely makes my favorite shadows, and this is no exception. I love the packaging, the array of shadows, the buttery softness of the shadows, everything about this palette.

Eyes -NYX - Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils- All
Spazzy 10/27/2011 9:57:00 AM
This review is for several different colors. I have Milk, Cherry, Slate, Black Bean, Rocky Mtn Green, Pacific, Purple, Horseraddish, Yogurt, & Orange. I have noticed that the creamier colors like Milk, Black Bean, etc don't crease like the more shimmery ones. Even over UDPP, I have problems w/ a couple of them creasing. Purple and Rocky Mtn Green specifically. Too bad because they are gorgeous. Milk is an awesome base to really make a shadow true to color, I love Black Bean to deepen a color. Yogurt, Slate, and Pacific I have no problems with creasing. All in all they're a great buy for a cheap pencil, you just have to watch which ones crease. The lasting power on the ones that don't crease is very good, tho not as well as my beloved MAC Greasepaints and shadesticks.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - Medium Plus
Spazzy 10/27/2011 9:41:00 AM
I have no idea how I ever went without this product. I can wear it alone on good skin days, and I use it religiously to set any foundation I wear. My skin never looks too matte, too oily, it just looks perfect. The name truly is right, Skin Finish Natural, because your skin is finished and natural looking. I keep it in my purse just in case I feel the need to touch up, however, my only complaint is that even though I keep it in my makeup bag, not floating around with all my junk, sometimes the clear plastic of the compact lid will pop out. Now, it only goes down onto the top of the product, and is easy to pop back in, it does bug me. Other than that, this is definitely an HG powder for me.

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup
Spazzy 10/27/2011 9:34:00 AM
I can't rave enough about this foundation. I've used it since the day it was released where I live, and it reached HG status quickly. It completely covers my rosacea, but it looks so natural and just like real skin. I don't even use concealer under my eyes when I wear this, it covers and never creases. It lasts all day on me, whether I've remembered primer that day or not (L'oreal Magic Perfecting Base). I go anywhere from 004-008 during the year, and I've never once noticed the sparkles that so many say they have. I set w/ MAC MSFN. Now, if i have somewhere to go and I know I'm not going to have a chance to check my makeup, I mix w/ a bit of ColorStay just for myself to know I'm always lookin good!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
Spazzy 9/1/2010 7:50:00 PM
Although i generally buy volume mascaras, I still decided to try this. Surprisingly it gives me a lot of volume and length. When I first purchased it though, it was too wet of a formula. I let it sit for a week, then tried again. Much better. I found that wiping the slightest bit off with a tissue, applying with the "spoon" part, and then using the bristles lightly to separate the lashes gives the best results. I have the nonWP formula, but have no trouble with smudging during the day. No trouble with clumping when I apply the way I just said, and removes easily. This is in constant rotation. Definitely one of Maybelline's best mascaras. EDIT::: After using for a while, I decided that while a good basic mascara, it just wasn't performing as well as I liked originally. Back to my trusted mascaras.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
Spazzy 9/1/2010 7:46:00 PM
I am not generally a "neutral shadow" person. However, I still had to buy this. I'm in love. When i first saw swatches of it posted, I thought it was going to be too warm toned for me. Nope, totally wrong. Ive tried all the shades at some point now, and they all look great. Hustle is probably my favorite shadow. All the shadows are classic great Urban Decay, awesome pigmentation, lasting power, smooth. Even though it's priced at $44USD, the shadows are full sized. You can NOT beat that value. All in all, one of the best palettes I've ever purchased, I can see this will get a lot of use.
