Bronzers -Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil

Like the cast of Jersey Shore, I am addicted to bronzer. Unlike the cast of Jersey Shore, I enjoy a natural-looking bronze. Other matte bronzers are either too orange or don't show up on my skin at all (I'm looking at you Nars Laguna). This product the perfect bronzer for me: it's a rich, matte brown (with no hint of orange) that's well-pigmented; great for "bronzing" and for more detailed contouring. Also long lasting, extremely buildable and blendable and smells faintly like chocolate. Chocolate Soleil = WIN.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Posietint
SparkleNFade 12/27/2011 10:07:00 PM
General Take: I know, I know, you're thinking "Only 1 lipstick star? Really?!" It looks like I'm in the minority, but I think this is one of the worst stain colours of all time! No offense to crazy people (they often actually have an amazing unique and fearless style), but this product makes me look like the crazy old lady who I see on my way to work who pairs her lipstick-covered toothy smile with almost Kabuki-hued white face powder and shocking pink blush. Love many BeneFit products (not a BeneFit hater, appreciate their "universal" approach to makeup), but Posietint looks ridiculous on my olive skin: less natural flush & glow, more artificial and contrived*, think Dee Snider. Also disappointed by the cheap, budget nail polish-type packaging. I wanted so badly to like it, guys... *cool for stage but not for coffee dates!

Sunscreen -Hawaiian Tropic - Dark Tanning Lotion SPF4
SparkleNFade 12/27/2011 9:53:00 PM
Overall Take: One of my favorite products of all time! Funny to see all the other people on here who use it as a sunscreen and a fragrance as I do. Gotta love products that multitask. I use mine daily, applying a small amount to my legs, arms and body for moisture but mostly for the fragrance. It isn't too greasy and has an amazing scent! Reminiscent of plumeria and papaya...the fragrance is beachy and comforting like a hot sunny day. Works well as a tanning oil too. I have olive skin* and with this product alone I can sit in the sun for days on end and get a golden tan with no burning. Paired with Maui Babe, this product gives me a perfect, natural looking deep, dark golden tan. My favorite triple threat: a fragrance, a moisturizer and a tanning oil/sunscreen all in one! And a bottle lasts me a whole year, again, awesome. Main Negatives: The bottle could be sexier, but that's the whole Hawaiian Tropic line of packaging for you: basic and very "discount drugstore" looking. *most skin types should not do this I realize, the sun can be dangerous :)

Lotions/ Creams -Hawaiian Tropic - Shimmer Effect Coconut Papaya After Sun Lotion
SparkleNFade 12/27/2011 9:29:00 PM
Overall Take: Decent shimmer for legs and body but nothing special. The product's light reflecting particulates are quite large and the fragrance - although moderately pleasant, is quite strong - therefore, I found it irritating to my sensitive skin. Although the bottle's green iridescent plastic is kind of cool, the bottle itself is nothing glamourous or exciting; looks like a generic sunscreen bottle. Would not buy again.
