Polishes -Zoya - Roxy

On me this one turn darker than on swatches, so I classify it as a vampy. It's super pretty. Need two coats. The color is deep and not over sparkly. Also the glitter is not tacky at all. Very appropriate for all grown-up, classy, elegant shades lovers. I would also suggest it for someone who search for glitter polish appropriate for older women - some that I know are afraid of glitter and think that are only for little girls... Roxy is not like that at all. I like bottles from Zoya a lot. Brush is fine. Polish dries quickly. I bought it in local store for 10€ I think, so that's a bit pricey but it is like it is with prices in EU for US polish brands. I strongly recomend it. I think that it would suit any skintone.

Polishes -Essie - Tart Deco

This polish is awful. Gladly I have it in mini bottle as part of spring collection 2010 and it's my the least favourite! I knew it rght away but on the nails it's even worse than in the bottle. It's far from being a pastel color - it's bright, lively, coraly orange - like strong bright shade of salmon meat. I don't know, but so not for my cool toned very fair skin tone! I guess it would look good on warm tanned toes in the summer... But now I'm wearing it and I don't feel it on me at all!!! Also the texture is very thick, dry quickly, that's why is not easy to get smooth coats - I hate when new polish already need thinner - where to put it, when the bottle is full?! With topcoat turns into something even more ugly - bright orange - I would never buy shade like that for me! Without topcoat it dries, but lover coat(s) starts to bubble and finish result is not smooth at all. But it's very pigmented. I hate it in general, and I would never buy it again!!

Polishes -Essie - Greenport

I used this after one year (since was out) and I love it now!! Application is really good. On me is more like Misa Dirty Sexy Money except less mutted what I like even more. At first I wanted sth more like China Glaze Four Audrey, but now that I have FA I like Greenport a lot more! Mostly beause of the texture, application and drying time! I would buy it again for the quality, for the color I have enough of it in one bottle. At the moment I'm more interested in new one from Essie Resort Collection - Turquoise & Caicos. As for longwear - Essie is the brand that usually wears the longest on me - 6-7 days, I think Greenport is no exception.

Polishes -OPI - We'll Always Have Paris SUEDE
rated 5 of 5

I'm crazy about this polish! It looks so glamorous and edgy at same time. So me. Love it for evening with some black dress and even for daytime with jeans. All Suedes I've bought to wear with top coat. I also use base coat. Nothing have happened wrong so far. I would buy it again if I ever ran out of. I love the brush. Application of this one is sooo easy! At first I was not fast enough so the result could look smoother, but quickly I've learned how to manage it, and now it looks just perfectly! Drying time is awsome. I would buy all my next polishes in such texture. Very pigmented too. And the shimmer/glitter is just perfect size for me - not too small, not to big! I highly recommend it! I love others OPI Suedes too, but this color is one of my faves. And the name... What more can I say :).

Palettes -Coastal Scents - Ultra Shimmer 88 eye shadow palette

I'm surprised how many bad reviews are here for this product. I have it for months and still haven't try all of them :). So plenty of fun for a long time. I'm very satisfied with the colors - a lot of them are so beautiful on it's own that you don't know with which to combine it. You have to know. It's very good and not expensive way for learning. And experimenting with tons of colors. I think that they are not very shimmery. Sometimes I wish that would be more, but it's ok. I was surprised how great MU I can do with bright magenta or red for example. I don't like the packaging, cos it's not safe to carry the palette around (also if that fall on the floor everything is gone). All shadows are super soft, easy to go on the brush and than on the lid. There are some fallouts, that stick on the skin - you can't just brush it away... Overall I'm happy to have it and I use it all the time. And the most ql thing - I'm not buying anymore new shadows :).

Fragrances -Avon - Flower by Cynthia Rowley EDP
rated 3 of 5

I was looking forward to some nice lily scent, but in this fragnance is mostly freesia. It's also very strong. Maybe even too much for me. Long lasting. I won't repurchase again cos it's not my scent so much and also I like to try other new scents - there are so many. I like the metal white bottle. It's also very cheap for 50ml EDP.

Masks -LUSH - Cosmetic Warrior Mask
rated 5 of 5

This is my favourite face mask of all time. I has only one minus - you need good luck to get it in our store and they don't sell it online. Otherwise everything good about it. My skin never looks better that after using this! No spots, no large pores, no oily skin, even even the tone - it's great! The results lasts only when using it (when you run out of it soon it gets back) - i use it every second day, but it's gentle enough to use it every day. It works for other parts of the body too. My SO hate the smell a lot, but for me it's ok. Price and packaging is ok. I will definitely buy it again, as soon as I see it in the store! I was thinking to buy some backup and put in the freezer. It also never drys my skin out. Great great product.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Lemony Flutter
rated 5 of 5
Sovica 4/25/2009 8:54:00 AM

I love it! I wish I would buy it sooner. The smell of mine is not overpowering. I works for my problematic cuticles wonderfully, nothing else better! My skin is deeply moisturized. No dry or ugly cuticles for a long time after using it. I think that also slowed growing new cuticles. I highly recommend it and I will definitely buy it again.

Cleansers -LUSH - coal face soap
rated 3 of 5
Sovica 4/25/2009 8:45:00 AM

I'm still using it but not everyday. I won't buy it again. It haven't done anything better for my skin, doesn't exfoliate, doesn't deeply clean or remove all my make-up. Also on some sides it's to harsh for my skin - you should avoid direct contacts and put just foam on the face. Sometimes I had even very dry skin, even though i have more oily skin. I don't know... Not my thing. I like the packaging, smell and how it looks (gray-black with silver shimmer - very unusual for a soap, sexy :)). I little pricey for what you get, but it lasts for a long time - I don't use it every day.

Polishes -Essie - Raspberry
rated 5 of 5
Sovica 4/5/2009 8:37:00 PM

This color is more me than Swing Velvet for example, which I also get lately. So, the color is now in the group of purples, I would never put it there - red or pink is much more appropriate. I'm fair cool toned, so the color is great for going well with my skin and my taste. Color is vibrant - especially with one coat, great application, no strikes, opaque with one coat. I think it is great summery and fally color. I would describe it as true fuchsia (as the flower is) with bright red base, not purple one. Color is very feminine, it would be great for those who usually wears red. Color is different in different lights - on some is purple (for example light of computer screen), on some is fuchsia, on some really just red. Interesting. No shimmer. It's a color I would finish.

Polishes -Essie - Swing Velvet

This was not my first Essie, but for me it was a little disappointment. First of all the application wasn't easy - first coat was streaky and you easy mess what you have applied earlier with another strikes (normal application). Second minus is that it chip easily. I didn't do anything special ant it chipped second day! This was really too soon for that price (here is one Essie 9€ or almost 12$ at the moment!! - yes it's not cheap at all). The color is deep burgundy, on some light deep purple with gold tiny shimmer. Unfortunately most time is burgundy, I wish that it would be most time deep purple and just on some light burgundy. SV on some light is even a little brownish (probably cos of gold shimmer). Color is definitely mature, elegant, wintery (or fally), a classic. But I guess it's not crazy enough for me :). It would be better for my mom ;). I fall in love in swatch on local forum (made by Maestra) but this great color is really rarely to see when you wear it: http://www.shrani.si/f/11/aF/2Kzup5GK/swingvelvet-1.gif
