I was initially attracted to this product because the color looked so beautiful.Unfortunately, this product turned out to be completely unusable and a complete waste of money. The texture was nasty and greasy. The application was horribly uneven. When I applied this to the eyelid, some areas would be completely sheer while other areas would have big greasy clumps of product. I'd try to spread the product out evenly and it would only get worse. Furthermore, it immediately began to crease and fade seconds after application. I tried really hard to somehow salvage this product. I tried applying it with my fingers, with various eyeshadow brushes, with a concealer brush and even with a sponge-tipped applicator and I tried all of these various methods more than once. I tried applying it over all sorts of different primers. No matter what I did, it resulted in a hot greasy mess. This product can't be used as a cream eyeshadow, as base for powder eyeshadows or even as a highlighter. It's utterly useless. I ended up throwing mine in the trash. I can't believe all the positive reviews for this product at all. This is most definitely one of my worst makeup purchases of all time.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Panther

The best matte black eyeshadow I've ever used and it's only two bucks. The pigmentation is absolutely insane. One swipe is nearly opaque (although it can be easily blended out with a nice fluffy brush when I applied over TooFaced Shadow Insurance or whatever eye primer one happens to use). The first time I swatched it, I actually gasped and nearly dropped the eyeshadow. Luckly, it was okay. Screw MAC Carbon. Get your hands on this.

Concealers -Almay - Bright Eyes Eye Base + Concealer

As a concealer, this product is horrible. The coverage is completely sheer. It doesn't conceal anything and it doesn't blend out well. It's also only avaliable in one shade. The only pro is that isn't cakey. It does apply smooth. However, whats the point of having a concealer that doesn't conceal? There is no point! Don't buy this product to use as a concealer. As an eye base, it's better than nothing. Colors are brighter and more vibrant over this product. I like the squeeze tube container and the brush tip. Normally, I squeeze one dot on the lid and one on the brow bone and then blend out the eye base, before applying eye shadow. It is better than nothing, but it's not amazing as an eye primer. Shadows will eventually crease and fade over this base, faster than they would with a pricier option. It's a better idea to buy Too Faced Shadow Insurance, a no fail holy grail product that will last you a long time. Sure, it costs more, but it's worth the money. This product is not worth the money.

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Protein Mascara

I am obcessed with mascaras. My lashes are dark and thick, but they don't have the length or curl I'd like, so I'm always up for trying new mascaras. I bought the Wet N Wild Mega Protein Mascara because my favorite mascara had dried out and I was inbetween pay checks. I had to buy something dirt cheap. I wish I had never made the mistake of buying this product. Not only is the price dirt cheap, but so is the quality. One of the things that attracted me to this product was it's promise to nourish my lashes with it's enriched formula. After wearing this mascara everyday for couple months, there was no noticeable change in the length or thickness of my bare lashes. I don't have any problems with my eyelashes falling out. Perhaps if I had such a problem, I would see some kind of difference. The brush itself was very standard with spiraling bristles. The wand was relatively tiny, good for getting every individual lash. If I was to compare it to another mascara's brush, I would definitely say Maybelline Great Lash, except smaller. There is really nothing special about it. There are so many new mascara's on the market with innovations in brush design that add so much length and curl to the lashes that this brush did not impress me. The formula was absolutely disgusting. It just would not dry and I ended up getting black marks all around my eye area that were difficult to remove. I would often have to redo very elaborate eye make up, because it took so much make-up remover to remove the black smears that were over my face. It is the smugdiest mascara I've ever used. I can't say it's the clumpiest though, all though it did clump a bit. It didn't really do much for my lashes at all. They wasn't a dramtatic difference in length or volume. I really just hate the formula. It's the worse mascara I've ever tried. I love Wet n Wild. For a cheaper than cheap drugstore brand, it has some great products including their highly pigmented Color Icon palettes and their gel liners. The afforementioned products are definitely comparable with MAC. I always find myself running to Wet n Wild for great dupes and reliable beauty products. I love almost every product I've tried from them , but I hate hate hate HATE this mascara. I would suggest a macara like Rimmel GlamEyes or Rimmel Sexy Curves. If you are willing to invest in a high end product, try DiorShow. Just stay away from this mascara.
