Brows -Almay - Brow Defining Pencil
SmillaGirl 1/23/2012 9:29:00 PM
I used to like this but the last few I've bought have crumbled when I've tried to use them. I buy them at my local Priceline which has a high turnover so doubt they've been on the shelf for too long. Thing that really annoys me is that I've emailed Almay/Revlon about this and they've ignored me. UPDATE 5th Feb 2012. I ended up having a whine on Twitter and Revlon got back to me and someone in their Australian office got in contact. I'll let you know what happens after I speak to them this week. UPDATE 15th Feb 2012. So I spoke to Revlon and they apologised profusely and then asked for my address and sent me not only 2 replacement Almay eyebrow pencils but also a heap of other Revlon and Almay stuff. I think they sent at least 15 or so products which was very generous of them. Also, I was able to retry the brow pencil and loved it so have changed my review to 4 lipsticks. I do recommend this product and not because Revlon sent me loads of gear but because it's actually is a good product. If you get one that's not right make sure you call Revlon and let them know about it and I'm sure they'll make good.

Concealers -Dermablend - Cover Creme - Cream
SmillaGirl 12/31/2011 8:14:00 AM
This is fantastic, best concealer I've used. I'm very fair and use the lightest shade in this. I'm a little surprised to hear people saying it's heavy because as far as I'm aware it's a concealer and not a foundation like some people have been saying. So if you're using it as a foundation (which would be hard as it's so thick) no wonder you find it heavy.

Hair Color -Revlon - Professional Nutricolor
SmillaGirl 12/30/2011 9:26:00 AM
This product is fantastic as both a conditioner and a colour. My hair feels amazing after I use it. As the others haven said, it's very concentrated so wear gloves and be careful with the application.

Treatments -Sebastian - Sebastian Penetraitt
SmillaGirl 5/2/2010 4:00:00 AM
This review is for the new version of Penetraitt treatment. The old one was great (the one in the tube with the runny consistancy) but this one is even better and I will not be without it. I have coloured hair so also use Redken Colour Endure products but Penetraitt saves my hair from all the heat styling I do to it. It's a pity it's so expensive though.

Moisturizers -Dove - Energy Glow Brightening Moisturizer SPF 15

Wasn't sure what to expect with this stuff but after a week using it, I think I like it! I love that it has broad spectrum protection. Only gripe is that it's a little thick but I put it on damp skin and this makes it easier to sink in.

Concealers -Kevyn Aucoin - The Sensual Skin Enhancer
SmillaGirl 8/25/2006 11:26:00 PM
Thank you Mr. Aucoin for this, it is utterly amazing. I have SX01 (I'm super pale) and this stuff is THE BEST concealer ever. I noticed some of you have had flaking issues, this stuff is not to be used over moisturiser but rather a decent primer. I recommend the KA primer as it's not too heavy on the silicon. I understand the price could put some people off but this stuff lasts forever and the packaging prevents early break down of the product. Mr Aucoin, I'll bet you're now making the angels look pretty. You are missed Sir.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Facial Lotion
SmillaGirl 8/24/2006 6:14:00 AM
I keep coming back to this except now that I have learned my lesson and pledged never to stray from Healthy Skin again, Neutrogena Australia decided to discontinue it!! And calls to them on their "customer service" line are met with rudeness and a refusal to discuss the product or recommend anything in its place. This stuff makes my skin glow and no other moisturiser ever, low-end to super high-end, has ever achieved this. Neutrogena Australia, won't you rethink your idiotic decision?

This was the first drugstore brand foundation I ever used and i really like it! C1 is a perfect match for me. Plus, I have sensitive skin and this stuff doesn't cause problems.
