Lip Treatments -Korres - Grape lip care

I bought this at a pharmacy in Greece on a major Korres spree. I have the light shade and it shows up well on my light/medium skin. It feels protective and is the perfect touch of color for the beach or a day at the park.

Gels/Soaps -Korres - Shower Gel in Bitter Almond
Slipped 7/7/2006 5:19:00 PM
I like this product because it's not like any US drugstore bath product. Like the other Korres bath gels it's very moisturizing and fun to use in the shower. However the smells are different than most traditional shower gels, and I would say it's an acquired smell. They also are not lasting smells. The bitter is accurate, as this is not as sweet as most almond shower gels. I will buy again, but only for the cheaper price in Greece or if I find it discounted at Marshalls as I once found the guava shower gel.

Moisturizers -Korres - Mandarin Light Moisturizer SPF 8

I wanted to like this product as I am big Korres fan. I bought it in Greece and waited to use it when I returned to my regular climate. It left my normal skin red and stingy. I ended up giving it away and went back to my Kiehls Ultra Moisturizer.

Treatments (Eye) -Korres - Evening Primrose Eye Cream

I like this product. It keeps my area moisturizes and seems to minimize my dark circles. I bought it in Greece, I'm not sure if I will repurchase it for the US price or not. While I find some Korres skincare irritating to my combo skin, I was not at all irritated by this product. I find it soothing.

Shampoo -Korres - Sunflower Extract and Vitamin F Shampoo
Slipped 10/15/2005 5:25:00 PM
I love this shampoo. I bought it in Greece this past summer, where it is much cheaper than the $23 it retails for on Sephora. I will buy again, but only when I return to Greece. Next time I will stock up. At first, I was not impressed. It doesn't lather as much as I like and my hair felt coated the first time. I used it more, and now I love the way it makes my hair feel. Soft and full, and fewer fly aways. The best part is that it has none of the harsh detergents (SLS) found in practically all US shampoos. I sometimes use this in conjuntion with the Korres Silk Milk conditioner, but I don't need a conditioner with it. EDITING: I looked more closely at the packaging and it does have a mild SLS in it. However I am on my second bottle and I still love it. I don't use it every day though. It's a very unique shampoo that leaves my hair feeling different than any other product I have used. I have used another Korres shampoo for regular use and it did not leave my hair feeling the same and this formula did. They now carry this line at some B&BW.

Fragrances -Korres - Vanilla Cinnamon Body Water
Slipped 10/15/2005 5:18:00 PM
I barely use mine. The scent is a bit "sharper" in the spray form compared to the shower gel and lotion. Also, they don't keep well. I've noticed differences in older bottles that weren't yet to the expiration date. This is because the ingredients are all natural. During my trip to Greece I was told at a pharmacy that all body waters have been discontinued. And they are no longer available on Sephora.com.

Gels/Soaps -Korres - Mint Tea Shower Gel
Slipped 10/15/2005 5:14:00 PM
I bought this for my sister for last Xmas from Sephora. She and her husband loved it. So last summer while in Greece I decided to get myself some (and more for her.) It's a crisp, sparkling scent, unisex in my opinion. My mom thinks it's masculine. I love the way it lathers and it's moisturizing without being creamy. I like that the smell is very unique and not the generic drugstore smell.

Gels/Soaps -Blue-Q - Tainted Love Liquid Soap

It was a gift so I don't know how much it cost, but I'm sure it was less than $10. The bottle is adorable-- feminine but funny with an old-fashioned lady and the caption "She was getting a little tired of waiting." The scent is described as "exotic fruit, floral and musk." It's a nice smell, not too overbearing, but more pleasant than typical handwashing soap. It has aloe so it doesn't overdry hands either.

It looks like sparkling gel toothpaste in the bottle! This product would be good for times when you need to smooth hair back into a bun or a tight pony tail and you don't care if the product makes your hair stiff. Or for putting hair into a mohawk! It's very very sticky and hard to wash off hands after applying. The hold is too strong for my needs and just makes my hair clump together.

I bought this because I thought it smelled nice and fresh at the store. After wearing it for 10 minutes it gave me a headache. For a cheap perfume I guess that's to be expected.

The scent is very unusual and I like it a lot, but if I wore it everyday I would get sick of it. It's a fresh scent that's very appropriate for spring. The bottle is purse sized.

I love the colors! The two shades are a lovely contrast in the pan -- a medium raspberry shade and a darker blackberry shade. They both add subtle color to the lips with a glossy finish that looks professional. The only down is that I hate applying products with lip brushes. The silver tin is very cute though!

This came of a horrible and unnatural color on my lips! Bright 80s pink! Not much moisture either. The tube is cute though!

Mascara -Almay - Amazing Lash® Mascara 16-Hour Wear
Slipped 5/13/2003 1:12:00 PM
I normally stick to waterproof formulas because I hate runny and smudged mascara. This product wasn't waterproof but I didn't experience any smudging. After awhile the color just disappeared into my lashes and it didn't even look like I was wearing mascara. I didn't give it high marks because I like more definition. No clumping or smudging though.

Very pretty finish and moderate lasting ability. My only complaint is the selection of colors is limited.
