Conditioner -Aubrey Organics - White Camellia Conditioner

I love this conditioner. I use it for deep conditioning and as a leave-in. I have very coarse, dry hair and this is one of the few conditoners that can tame it. It leaves my hair feeling smooth and when I use it as a leave-in, my hair stays moisturized for most of the day. This conditioner takes care of business!

Shampoo -Aubrey Organics - Honeysuckle Rose shampoo

You know that I love Aubrey Organics, right? Close to 50% of my hair care expenses goes to this company. I just love their philosophy of using organic ingredients on the human body which is why I gave this product a 2 (for the nice ingredients. At least they tried.). However, this shampoo is just...wrong. There is something about it that makes my hair feel stripped and dry. I even tried to doctor it up with olive oil but my hair was like, "You're not serious are you?!" This is one of the few products that did absolutely nothing for my hair and even left it in worse shape. Oh, well. At least their GPB and White Camellia 'poos work for me. Oh, the HSR conditoner is nice, though. If you can handle the smell, which isn't that bad, it makes a very nice leave-in.

Conditioner -Aubrey Organics - Sea Buckthorn Leave-In Conditioner and Curl Activator

Hmm. I'm a natural 4z. Aubrey Organics has many of my favorite products. I really, really tried to like this product because of its natural ingredients and because I love so many of its cousins. It left my hair moisturized for about 2 hours. Then I noticed a light coating on my hair. This didn't bother me too much but natural products should be absorbed, leaving nothing behind. The smell didn't bother me thoo much. At least it isn't all girly. One thing about AO is that whatever the smell is in nature, this is what you're getting in the bottle. I used half the bottle then mixed in some of Aubrey's White Camellia conditioner (LOVE THIS), grapeseed oil, and a few drops of glycerin. Now it's perfect! If they were to lower the price or increase the size I'd buy this again to use as a base for one of my concoctions. It has potential just needs a little tweaking.

Treatments -Pantene - Restoratives Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense Deep Conditioning Mask

I'm a natural and I've never been a Pantene fan before because of a bad experience with a leave-in. However, after hearing many great things about this product, the PJ in me just had to get some. This is a creamy, very creamy product. It goes on feeling wonderful and seems to just melt away any tangles. I left it on for over 2 hours and when I rinsed it out, wow. My hair was soft, moisturized, I was loving it. I had this experience maybe 3-4 times. Then, it just stopped working. Maybe I needed to clarify? Maybe I need to use it once every few months? I don't know but I can't afford to experience any breakage. I also don't like when my hair feels hard after using a moisturizing conditioner. I think I'll try it again after I retain 3 more inches. Then I'll clarify first and mix in some coconut oil. My daughters are transistioning and the 2 times I used it on them, we had wonderful results. Every head of hair is different but like I said, I can't afford breakage. I gave it a rating of 3 because when it worked, it worked very well. I don't know if I'll purchase this again.

Conditioner -Freeman - Sea Kelp Moisture Conditioner

I'm surprised to see some say this had a watery consistency. I have the one pictured (Nourishing) and it's nice and thick. Maybe they've changed formulas...? Anyway, 'Seakelp' is what drew my attention. I thought it just had to be good for my hair. I used it alone to conditioner wash my hair. I then left a little in and added some as a leave-in. The results? Not bad. This is a nice thick condtioner and provided lots of slip. It didn't leave my hair feeling like buttah, but it did leave it feeling better (lol). I bought 4 containers because of their price ($1.99). I would have tried the shampoo but it has sls, yuk. I use the conditioner for cowashing and as a leave in because of the great ingredients. The smell is very nice, too. A very, very faint fruity smell. Nice. It makes my tight 4z curls feel soft and moisturized. A decent buy. I would recommend this to a friend...but she better hurry and get it because if I see it at $1.99 again I'm snatching them all up!
