Eyeliner -Unlisted Brand - Hashmi - Kajal Stick - Black
Sim_Arik 8/2/2010 10:41:00 PM
I'm really hooked up on those kajal eyeliners now, I don't leave my house without underlining my waterline. I've tried two brands so far- Hashmi and Blue Heaven. Hashmi is less creamy, a bit more difficult to apply (I have to breath on it for a few seconds or hold it longer between the lids for it to soften a little) but the color is very nice dark black and it lasts longer then Blue Heaven. Would I repurchase? yes, if I don't find anything better. The possibility of it containing lead concerns me a bit. I'll try Shahnaz Hussein first and if it's not good get Hashmi. The price is excellent and it does nice job. The reason why i took a lippie away is because it gives a tingling sensation to my eyes during the first few minutes after application.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Eden Allure - Pure Moroccan Argan Oil
Sim_Arik 8/2/2010 10:17:00 PM
I am a big fan of Moroccan Oil brand but heard lots of good reviews about this oil from youtube gurus. This one is supposed to be natural pure argan oil which I thought would be better compared to the Moroccan oil which has some chemicals. But I didn't like it that much. It does make my hair softer but I never got the shine that was promised. In fact my hair looked kinda limp. I tried using it on my face as well but it only made it dry. I've got annoying flaky patches on my cheeks after I used the oil for about a week. It was quite disappointing and I really tried to like this oil but I guess it's not meant to be for me. I'll return to my Moroccan Oil brand which my hair seems to absorb much better.

Treatments -LUSH - Henna - Caca Noir
Sim_Arik 2/22/2009 6:06:00 PM
This product didn't work too well for me in terms of getting a black uniform color. Right after I washed henna and dried my hair I didn't notice any results what so ever. Only the next day I realized that it kinda added the reddish tone to my hair which could be seen on the sun. After couple of washes I noticed hair getting a tiny bit darker but it is very insignificant. I was holding this mess on my head for 6 hours just like instructions said, added a bit of olive oil to the mixture as an extra moisturizer for hair since henna can cause drying effect. The only thing I could have done wrong was dissolving Caca with boiled water as opposed to the hot tap water (I wish I read reviews here before dying my hair) so that could possibly interfere with the indigo. I still have 3 cubes left so I'm gonna give it another try when I have 6 free hours, this time using tap water, to see if it works. If not then I'll have to look for other alternatives. On the positive side, my hair felt much stronger and it is still very shiny (and I dyed it 2 weeks ago) so I do recommend it as a hair treatment once in a while, it does make roots stronger.

Hair Color -Clairol - Nice 'n Easy Perfect 10
Sim_Arik 10/6/2008 9:48:00 PM
I used Nice'n Easy Perfect 10 in Jet Black. It was quite a random purchase for me, I was planning to buy my favorite Exellence but fell for the big pretty box of this dye...and I'm very pleased with the results. Its been more than a week since I dyed my hair and the color still looks very fresh (even though I washed my hair almost every day and with Excellence it would already turn dark brown on me). I didn't use the applicator just because I don't like any applicators in general, its way better imho to color hair with the brush which you can get in any beauty supply, and one bottle was just enough for my shoulder length hair. The smell of the dye didn't irritate me at all, compared to the ones I used before it was actually pretty good. The only thing I disliked is that my hair did feel very dry right after I washed off the product, but that problem was solved by the conditioner. And let me tell you, the conditioner is amazing in all the ways possible and the smell is terrific!!! Will definitely buy again.

Moisturizers -Jamieson - Vitamin E 30 000 IU Rich Moisturizing Cream
Sim_Arik 1/9/2008 2:42:00 PM
I came across Jamieson Vitamin E cream by absolute accident, just grabbed the first thing I saw which said Vitamin E on it and to my surprise it turned out to be pretty good. I have dry skin which becomes VERY dry in winter to the extent where I would get eczema patches all over my face. Well, once I began using this cream I forgot about eczema inflammations. It doesn't make my skin to break-out and on top of that I noticed that zits I tend to get before by periods started to heal way faster. I will definitely buy the cream again and I highly recommend it for winter season.
