I have just bought this product and opposite to what others have reviewed here I actually really like it. It's good as a finishing powder overall, it gives the flawless look. The brush that comes with it is verry crappy I would recomend using this product with a kabuki brush. I have had no troubles blending this product and I've notice it does give a light coverage which I really like because sometimes I feel that my foundation is not enough coverage so this product finishes everything off. The powder itself is ever so slightly shimmery trust me its not glittery at all, the shimmer gives the airbrush effect and keeps the skin from looking dry and too matte. If you have ever tried Revlon Colorstay finishing powder, this pf powder is about 90% less obviously shimmery. if that makes sense haha. Overall Love this product and I have tried it on it's own without foundation or anything and I like how it looks. If you're like me and really like the flawless look this is really the icing on the cake to finish your face off, however, if you prefer a more natural look I would recomend something else.
I've already done a review for this product, but just want to give you guys a great tip, You can strain the aspirin toner with a dispoable coffee filter to get all the bits of aspiring out which you can then use for a mask or scrub or just trow away. Or when you pour it onto a cotton pad just use the other side of it where the liquid has seaped through but the pieces have stayed on the other side.
Mascara -Hard Candy - 1,000 Lashes Fiberized Mascara

I bought the primer one which is a white color and I love it. It clings to my lashes, I dont have a problem with application or the fibers getting everywhere. But what I would suggest is to swipe the wand against the sides of the tube to get more product on the wand. It makes my lashes look fuller and paired with your favorite mascara does wonders with length and overall look. what I also like about this is that it doesnt creat a clumpy look it separates and longates each lash induvidually. What people should know about this product is that it's not a one swipe product, it needs to be layered in order to get the full effect of the fibers
Coverage: Light lightweight makeup doesn't feel heavy or look cakey I Don't recomend this for dry skin My sister dragged me to a 'makeover' by a Mary Kay sales lady So we ended up buying this product mostly because we felt bad and had to buy atleast one thing. The coverage is so light it doesn't do a thing for me but for my sister who doesn't usually wear make up I guess it's better than nothing. My sister has dry skin and using this I can see closely that the product is visible on her face but from a distance it blends well and give an overall very subble difference in her skin tone and eveness. For me I use this as a finishing powder, I use liquid foundation and find that this does well in blending away streaks and mattifying the liquid. It stays on and doesn't get greasy. But because of the price, I feel like I can get a finishing powder for much less. Bottom line: I would recomend this to someone starting out with makeup that just wants a little dusting to make a nice glowy look to the face and to even out minor dark areas and faint redness.
There doesn't seem to be a review page for the normal one with 10% benzoyl peroxide so gonna do it here. THIS STUFF WORKS IT GOT RID OF MY ACNE AND KEEPS IT AWAY. 2 or 3 years back I was battling acne and probably tried every brand at the pharmacy. I realized everything I was trying had salicylic in it and maybe that's why I was getting mediocre results so I went and found this product that contained benzoyl peroxide instead and wow my acne disapeared and never came back! This is the results from using it on my face: Medium sized acne went away in days Oversized acne reduces in size overnight Pimples that looked like they were gonna burst shrunk and disapeared Didn't leave any scars My acne stayed away even if I stopped using the treatment Cons: Seriously smells so bad Didn't help the small bumps of acne (the really really small ones) It's a white colour and kinda slimy, would recomend wearing only at night This product is awsome, Highly recomend it because it's really hard to find annother product with benzoyl Peroxide in it
Primer/ Corrector -Hard Candy - Sheer Envy Skin Perfecting Primer

This is decent primer for the cost. It is really bad if you apply too much or don't allow it to sit on your face for a few minutes before you apply makeup. I find that it does a good job concealing the dry skin on my forehead, ( I don't really see the dry skin but without the primer it looks so dry for some reason) That's about all I think it does that's good, it doesnt give that super smooth finish most people want. Actually I find that my sunscreen does a better job of that than this primer. It's decent but wouldn't buy this one again, I'd probably want to try something else.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)
Silvialee 6/4/2011 8:31:00 PM
Love coconut oil it's my dery skin secret weapon. It's not overly oily like some other types of oils out there. I use it on my body all year round and it heals and conceals dry skin. Its great in the summer on the legs because it has a bit of healthy shine to it that makes your legs look so smooth from afar, even if you haven't shaved. What else can I say, its all natural, not heavy and super healthy for the skin.
Top/Base Coats -Sally Hansen - Hard as Wraps - Acrylic Gel
Silvialee 6/4/2011 8:27:00 PM
I bought Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Hard as Wraps in the blue bottle and am not sure if it is different from this one, but since I couldn't find the exact one I bought on this site I'm posting my review here. This product is great, it revived my nails from soft, peeling, yellow and hard to grow nails to longer stronger and whiter. I wear this as a base or alone and it has helped my nails grow quicker. sometimes if I don't apply the product I notice the white part of my nails start to turn clear but after a day or two of putting the hard as wraps on they become white and healthy looking again. I now have long nails that I NEVER had in my life and I thank hard as wraps for it. The only con of this product is that the more you use it the more it becomes tick, I have about 1/4 left in my bottle and the product had become so thick that it made tiny bubbles when i applied it on my nails and the bubbles make bumps when I apply coloured polish on top
This product is great to use everyother day or once or twice a week depending on how your skin is. I find that everyother day works fine for me. At first I thought that it wasn't removing dry skin as it should and I saw that it actually made my skin look dryer than it was. But I've learned to scrub a little harder (my skin isn't sensetive so it can take a harsh scrub) I use the palm of my hand on my face and scrub in a circular motion and it works great! Almost all my dead skin is removed and my skin has become softer and my blackheads have cleared. If you have sensitive skin I would recomend the st.ives microdermadrasion scrub it is gentle enough for daily use.
I can understand why people are giving bad reviews on this product and I can agree that the application is actually really really hard. I've been using this product now for 2 months and have still be fidling with the application. I've tried a foundation brush, fingers and stipling brush and find that none for me will give me a really even flawless application. But what I have realized is that a little bit of finishing powder will provide the flawless finish you're looking for because it evens the whole thing out and gets rid of streaks. The foundation itself provides great coverage, (I don't have to use concealer) If I wanted a more natural look I just mix it with a bit of moisterizer and apply it like a tinted moisterizer and it works great. The only con is that right now I am between colors and am really suprised that the next shade down from 150 buff is 180 sand beige which is really really dark for me
Where do I start, This product doesn't last long on me, I have natually oily eyelids but I was suprised when it claims to last 16 hours when it won't even last 3. It smudges and fades without friction or touching. The application is hard because of the shape of the pen part, its small and thin and the brush itself is hard to control thin-thick. I find that the eyeliners actually shpaed as pens are the best to use for application. So suprised that I spent about $15 on this liner and can't even use it as often as I would like because it won't last all day and requires touchups every few hours.
I got his product because I had a coupon for $2 off and needed a new mascara. The brush is too big and the design of it causes clumping and is hard to reach the very corners and roots of the eyelash. The result is have veryt tick ends of the lashes with thin roots because the product cannot reach these spots. the brush is horrible because it doesnt help to separate lashes so putting too much can make a mess. Overall I gave it 3 stars because I do use it daily, it's not the best mascara but its okay, I'm gonna use it because I bought it.
My sister started using this because her dermatologist recomeded it to her for her dry, sensitive and excema prone skin. I gave it a try and for me I find that it isn't the deep clean that some may be looking for but it does leave my skin feeling fresh. I typically use Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser at night when I have to wash my face over the sink. (I hate the fact that when I wash my face over the sink water gets everywhere) So i use Cetaphil because it doesnt need to be rinsed off (that's how gentle it is!) But I use a different, stronger face cleanser in the morning for that deeper clean. This product is great but I wouldn't use it as my only cleanser I just don't think it would clean as well as others on the market. I love how gentle it is and it does great removing makeup too!
