I got the catalogue for the store that sells Stilla in Canberra, and was flicking through it and BAM. This palette caught my eye... I instantly got up, got into my car and bought it. There are so many possible looks in this. (some would be crazy looking, but hey! sometimes having crazy eyeshadow looks are cool) I always use a primer, and don't bother testing eye shadows by themselves on my eyes, but these colours certianly do pop! There's a beautiful gold-like colour, soft pink, vibrant blue with a hint of purple to it and a black which appears to have multicoloured glitters (very very very fine) in it. The convertible colour is also pretty amazing. For my skin tone, I'm ususally 'ivory' in most foundations, when applied on the cheeks, it makes seem naturally flushed (but in a good/healthy looking way) and my friend put some on her lips, and it looked pretty cute with just osme clear gloss over the top. The packaging is heaps cute too! The only thing I'm not sure if I like about it is the fact that convertible colour could dry out a little as its not air tight. But hey, for the amount I paid ($25AUD), I'm really not complaining!
I LOVE THIS MASCARA. Ahem. No, but seriously, for me, it's perfect. I love having my eyelashes look (for lack of better wording here) chunky? That sounds horrid, but what I mean is fuller and a little bit more, if that makes sense. I love having my lower eyelashes showing in a non natural way, and this does the trick. Its think enough, but not in the gloopy chunk-leaving-behind sorta way. I got a sample of this mascara years and years ago, and used that up quick smart. After that, I couldnt' afford the full size (ahh being young) and there wasn't much point because we werent allowed to wear make up to school. But, as soon as I was outta school, had money in my pocket, i went straight to the Clinique counter at my locals DJs, and purchased it. And have ever since (3 years now). I just love it. It does what I want, so hey, I'm happy.
Okay, so I know I gave it a rather low rating, but hear me out!!!! For my skin (eyelids, here) this remains slightly tacky, even after about 4 minnutes of waiting for it to become, well, less tacky! Haha! But it makes it harder for me to smudge/blend eyeshadows out. However... if I am just doing a quick make up look, I will use this, as I'm not too fazed about blending out anything if I'm on the run. I ADORE this for glitter application though! For parties or theme nights at my favourite nightclub, this is perfect! I put it on, and wait no more than a minute before applying my loose glitter. Those little glitters ain't going anywhere. Nuh. No where. (for me at least). this was my first ever base, and sometimes you hold onto your first 'love'...and that's what I've done with this. 3 years down the track, and I still have this in my 'every day make up stand'. I recommend this most difinitely!
Where oh where do I start with this?! This is my first MAC pigment (as they cost a pretty penny or a thousand here in australia. (This little beauty set me back $39AUD)) WOW. Just WOW. The colour - amazing. The texture - amazing. The Blendability (new word??) - amazing. It's just an amazing product, and I was so happy I went all out and bought it. I use it over NYXs' White eyeshadow base, and it just looks stunning. This is definitely a purple to be owned by purple lovers! You simply can't go wrong with this. In some lights, on me at least, it looks like a warm purple, but in other lights, it looks like a cool purple. Its just so pretty! No one touches this but me. My friends have asked if they can use it, and i get very very protective over it haha! What can I say...I love my purples... <3
Lip Gloss -Elizabeth Arden - High Shine Lipgloss (All)

I have a full size in Tropicoral, and a sample size in Champagne. Tropicoral is, well, a coral sorta colour, maybe a little more to the pinkish side, with teenie tinie pink and gold shimmers in it. The colour isn't highly pigmented, but it does still leave a slight tint if worn alone. I put this over a plain pink lippie and it looks pretty good. The only other problem with it is that it doesn't seem to last very long, so this is definiately not my 'every day' lipgloss. I stick to wearing this if I am going out to dinners etc or if I am going out on the weekends. It is rather pricey from DJs, but, hey, these are the things we do for beauty..
I saw a make up guru on youtube using this, and thought, well, if they're using it, I should! So off to Ebayland I went and found it and got it. It's not perfect. BUT. It does make some of my eyeshadows that with any other base dont' show the colour in the pan, show up. Sometimes I mix it with a skin tonned base to create a different sorta look. For the amount you spend on it (I think I paid around $8AUD for it) you really should give it a go. Its still in my make up drawer, not under my basin where all my "emergency make up" is, so its still good in my books. And for those that are all "eww you use your finger in the pot"....Use a small concealer type brush?? Its not 'fingers or nothing'.
Mascara -Rimmel - Volume Flash Mousse Mascara -- Extreme Black

I love having thing chunky (but still nice...if that makes sense) lashes. Especially my lower lashes. I love my lower lashes (especially when hitting the clubs) to be vissible and full looking, and this mascara is perfect for that. I love this mascara so much that when they stopped selling it in all the main shops, I started to peak out and went online to buy a replacement. Yeah. Addicted I am to this. Luckily they're now still selling it in Priceline. I love it soooo so much. For my lashes, it does what I want. It makes them look fuller (without feeling heavy), seperates them enough for the look that I wear, shows up well, and doesn't smell funky. It isn't for everyone. But nothing in this world is. For some it'll work. For others it won't.
As soon as I saw this - I HAD, *HAD* to have it. I had to fork out a rather large amount of money for it ($48AUD) but...well...I'm glad I did. I love purple and had been looking for the perfect purple. And for now, this is it. its vibrant, but dark. Its. just. amazing. Its pigmented, and lovely to put on, especially for a matte!! I use it with a base of course, because this colour deserves to be shown as it really is. I espeically love using a black matte in the crease with this just to add that sultry look to it. So, lets get down to the point: * I recommend this to anyone who loves purple. * Its amazing. * Just go and buy it * Did I mention it was amazing??
First of all, I hadn't read any reviews before purchasing this product. I kept on walking past and going into Mecca Cosmetics to look at it and everytime I did so, I always swatched it, and then walked out again. This happened 5 times before I finally decided to cough up the $48AUD for it. And although I still think its pretty darn expensive, I utterly love it to bits. I use a base under it, and a subtle showing of the glitters show up. Its. Just. Amazing. I find myself just opening up the little case just to look at how pretty it is *is obsessed* This is most definitely a must!!!
Lip Treatments -Clarins - Moisture Replenishing Lip Balm

I first got a sample tube of this when I purchased an eyeshadow. I have dry lips, and this product is one of the very very few that actually does what it says it does. My lips feel smoother, less dry, and much much softer!! If you can afford to get it, I recommend you do! I've purchased a full size tube off the net, and can't wait to get back into using it again! The only thing I wish Clarins did was produce prettier packaging, but oh well, you can't always win haha!
Eye Shadow -Clinique - High Impact Duo in Like Mink

I'm not a huge fan of neutrals, but when my aunty gave me a gift set from Clinique for Christmas (which had a mini version of this duo) and I put it on for the first time, I fell in love. I couldn't wear it during school, so I'd wear it any other chance I got to. I used it all up, and have purchased the full size one, which was a bit pricey ($40AUD) but I had to have it! Its my favourite set of neutrals that are perfect for an every day 'office' look, a lazy weekend look, or really, for anything. Really do recommend, and would buy it again!!
I love this product! I understand how it gets mixed reviews as the first time I bought this, the colour payoff wasn't great. But, felt tip eyeliners, just like felt tip markers (yes, textas or what have you) dry out too, and the colour begins to fade. So I purchased a new one, and this time, the product lasted me around 6 months, and I used it every day, so I just ran out of it. I'm on my 6th 'bottle' of it. I love it!!! Its sleek and fits easily into my clutch if I go out, my hand bag or really anywhere!!! I'd deffs buy it again :D
I purchased 'Heaven' which is a lovely deep blue colour, around two months ago and fell in love! Its easy to use (I use a small flat eyeliner brush, or a small angled brush - depending on what mood i'm in) and it goes on so well! I recently purchased Equinox, which is their black colour, and again, fell in love with it. It's rich in colour and so smooth! People have mentioned that it dries out quickly.... I recommend either getting an amount you think will cover the area you want to line and deposit it on your eye and then work it out. OR Closing the jar after every time you place the brush in it (which can be annoying, but hey, you gotta protect your investments). (Some people also say to put a little on the back of your hands, but if you take out too much, then you're wasting product in my mind) I also use NPs Cake Eyeliner Sealer and place that on top after the liner has dried just to make sure it'll stay there. (it stays there regardless, but I do it because I go from wearing it during the day to wearing it out all night on the weekends - so i wanna make sure it ain't going anywhere) In the end, it is rather pricey ($30AUD each) but its quailty and I'd deffs buy it again!
