Loose Powders -NARS - Light Reflecting Setting Powder

Its been a while since I felt the need to sing praises of a MU product. Since I read the review from Temptalia I knew this was my answer to ghostly flash pictures. Iīm happy to say that this loose powder beats MUFE in my book (which makes you look like a geisha in photos), and it controls oil while adding a "glow" to your skin. I apply it sparingly with a large fluffy face powder brush on top my Clinique Pore Refining liquid foundation. I bought it during the Sephora BI 15% off sale and although it is quite pricey I think its worth it because it will last a long time.
Lipstick -Revlon - Color Stay Ultimate Suede Lipstick

Although the color is lovely (Flashing Lights) and the packaging is functional, I canīt get over the fact that after 30 mins of wear, I feel my lips getting tight, dry and sticky. Some reviewers say to use a gloss on top, but then whatīs the point of the "suede" texture? The color does last a while, and youīll need makeup remover to take it off.
If only Iīd checked MUA reviews before buying this worthless eyeliner. Itīs extremely watery and transparent, and totally not worth $8. It looked like such a promising eye liner, and not at all what I expect from Maybelline quality.
This is my first BB cream. My skin is oily/acne prone, but have it under control with the help of Biore UV ss milk as primer, ocasional blotting sheets and good skin care. I usually wear Almay Clear Complexion foundation, which I love except for the somewhat lacking coverage and the heavy yellow undertone. I decided to buy Misha #23 in sample packets for my NC25 skin. At first application, I truly loved it. I did notice the grey cast everyone mentionts, but it does blend nicely afterwards. The coverage is nice, buildable, and the finish is dewy. Along the day, my skin got terribly oily, the most I've experienced in my life. No amount of blotting sheets would suffice. I tweaked the setting powder to maybelline dream matte powder, MUFE HD powder, Palladio rice powder and none of them solved the issue. I guess I'll wait til my skin is drier this winter to try this foundation again.
Got this on a whim, just 2 dlls. The color is a deep beautiful red which needs two coats to even out. The drying time is fast. The only thing I disliked was that the polish was too runny, or maybe it was just mine. Other than that, lovely polish. Donīt forget to apply a base coat with these highly pigmented polishes.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - HIP Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Midnight Blue

This is by far my favorite cream eyeliner. The color has a gorgeous metallic sheen, and the staying power is just amazing (have no issues with fading or transfer event without primer). The brush it comes with is ok, but I apply this with my SK bent e/l brush with great results. I'm very impressed with the packaging because I feel the generous amount of cream won't dry out as quickly since it's locked tight :D
This is a welcomed product for my skin. It's a gentle acne treatment, that I mostly end up using all over my face. My usually irritated and acne-prone skin is now smooth, calm and noticeably clearer. Grease Lightning has replaced my Paula's Choice toners and treatments, as well as some RX. The only con: the pump on my packaging was defective, but that's minimal against all its benefits.
It's a nice refreshing toner, but it's hard to notice any results since I use other Lush products in my skin routine. It mostly feels like spritzing water on my face, but I'll also admit that my previous toners had alcohol, BHA, AHA or menthol in it, so maybe I'm not used to having a gentle toner. It's been two months and I haven't finished it by using it daily. I will probably not repurchase, but I love all my other Lush products >D
I ordered this from lush.com, along with Fresh Farmacy, Grease Lightning & Tea Tree Water. Two months later, I'm ready to review it. My usual mask was QHMJM, but I found it to be too irritating for my skin. This mask greatly reduces redness, oil and lessens my breakouts and sore pimples. I dont find the smell offensive and the application isn't difficult aside from some exfoliating granules that clump up. I remove with warm water, follow with FF, Tea tree water and grease lightning. I will definitely re-buy.
It's been two months since my first LUSH order, and I've already ordered a backup for this cleanser. First of all, I do not use it for removing makeup (for that I use DHC cleansing oil), but to soothe my acne-prone skin. When I have a sore pimple, I wash my face with fresh farmacy, and dab it as a mask on the pimple. The cleanser comes in bar form, wrapped in paper. I keep it in the paper, inside a ziploc bag, and slice 1 inch thick bars at a time to keep it fresh. Along with my other Lush products, my skin has never looked better (less redness, pimples and dryness).
Very often, I find that I over-treat my acne prone skin with lots of chemicals, and my skin turns red and flaky. I decided to take a more gentle aproach and ordered several LUSH products with great results. I use Ocean Salt as a face scrub, 2 or 3 times a week. The smell is quite intriguing and fun, and some 20 secs of scrubing does the trick. My skin feels smooth and all my flakes are gone. With all Lush products, I have to be very careful about contamination and storage, and I wish this would be packaged differently.
Since my current Clinique's Clarifying foundation was discontinued to give way to this foundation, I felt obliged to give this a try. 03 Fresh Neutral is a great substitute for my usual Just Neutral foundation. The things I disliked about the Clarifying (fast drying, cakey buildup and hard removal) are addressed in the new formula. I apply it with the SK highlighting brush, and top it off with a bit of MUFE HD powder. So far, I haven't noticed the effects of the SA (0.5%), but such a small amount of this ingredient has never made a difference in other foundations I've tried (Almay Clear Complexion or Clinique's Clarifying fndt). I do wish it was a bit cheaper but it isn't that far from the 20.50 price tag I was used to pay, and that they would come up with a concealer for this Acne Solutions line.
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

After months and months of reading raves about this product, I finally caved (with the help of the Sephora sale) and bought it. Since my skin is very oily, I constantly battle with blotting tissues and oxidizing foundation, but this powder has kept me fairly shine-free and my makeup doesn't slide off or change color. I use a very light hand with a fluffy powder brush, with very little product. Also, I must advise to keep the little sticker on the sifter, so you won't lose a lot of powder in the long run. P.S. I did try the cheaper alternatives before buying this, but they didn't do it for me.
Couldnīt find it anywhere! Got tired of looking and ordered it online. I agree that is a nice rich red. Itīs quite drying for me, so exfoliating prior and lip balm or gloss is a must. Great staying power, no feathering and a great starter point for your red lippie collection.
Bought the mini set and Absolutely Alice was the first one I tried on and the top reason for purchasing the whole set. I applied a light blue base (NYC East Village) then a layer of Absolutely Alice, and topped off with Seche Vite Top Coat. The result is a beautiful shimmery blue and gold polish with good staying power. I HIGHLY recommend using a colored base first, or you will finish the polish with all the coats youīll need to build up the color and glitter. Top Coat is a must!
