Lip Treatments -BeneFit Cosmetics - Lip Plump

Despite all the negative reviews, I really like this product. I have very full lips naturally (think Angelina) but they have deep grooves. When I apply this it fills the lines in, a bit like polyfiller I guess, so when I apply lipstick over the top my lips look a lot smoother, reflecting light better, thus making my lips look plumper and younger. I find it's an excellent primer as well. It makes my lipstick more vivid - true to the shade in the tube, and gives it much more staying power. I have a plumper looking pout and better results using this, than say Too Faced Lip Injection which did nothing more for me than tingle and make my lips look a little red. At the end of the day, I do really think it depends on what kind of lips you've got to start with for which products will give you the best results you're after.

I received this product as a gift on my birthday. I'm not overly fussy about what mascara I use, as they all seem to give pretty much the same effect on my eyelashes. But I don't like this one. The brush is way too big for me not to poke my eye out trying to get my little inner corner lashes, but the main reason I don't like it is.. the smell! I've never noticed other mascaras I've used having a smell (except YSL's which I quite liked the scent of), but this one is just plain nasty. It hits you as soon as you open it. It's like paint stripper or something.

I have tried really, really hard to like this so-called 'mega shine spray' but it just doesn't live up to my expectations. I've used many different shine enhancers over the years, at various price tags - this is one of the worst. I'm going to give it my sister, as it seems a pure waste and just too expensive to go and throw it in the bin. I sprayed this upon my brunette tresses from arms-length to help avoid over-application, I sadly noticed no difference in the shine factor at all. So, then I thought to myself "I'll just spray a little bit more on" - oops! Bad idea. I quite easily ended up with a grease-laden, stringy, limp mess. Not exactly the lustrous locks I was after! Packaging-wise, the pump-spray doesn't make for easy, even application (I think aerosol-type sprays are better) and I don't particularly like the smell. It smells too strongly of chemicals/alcohol, rather than something nice IMO. And to top it off, one thing I hate in any hair product, when you brush your hair, it comes out like dandruff. Ew! This product may be better suited to coarse, rather than fine hair like mine, as it's so easy to over do it, but I think there are a lot more effective products out there on the market for the same amount of pennies and less. In summary, this product did not do anything beneficial for my hair and I will never repurchase.
