just arrived today! i think this could finally be the answer! creases pretty bady but frankly i don't care if it's going to cover up my dreaded dark circles. the pink really does seem to neutralise the purplish cicles. packaging a little cheap and plasticky....very similar to napoleon packaging. but again, who really cares! not a terrible price either. would repurchase i'm thinkin'!

it's ok but honestly i don't think it's better or worse than others i've used. i'm thinking i might try the sheseido or kevyn alcoin one next...

a great all-rounder brush i find. just the right size. good for all over the lid/crease/highlighter. not sure if i really need to get the 217 and 239 i've been thinking about for a while. MAC brushes are SOOOO expensive here in Oz!

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #187 Duo Fiber Face Brush (Stippling, Skunk Brush)

i love it and it does all the things as below...but here in Oz it's $85!!! which is quite ridiculous for a brush i think. silly me for not getting it for a mere $42 (still too expensive really!!) when holidaying in NY last Dec!

i find this so greasy on my hair...it can really ruin a good straightening session! however, i didn't realise you were supposed to use it on WET hair so now i will try that and see how we go. if it still looks greasy after this i won't be repurchasing. i like the pump on the bottle but it 'aint cheap here in oz :(

Other -Unlisted Brand - Baking Soda

well i just made myself a mask from bi carb (baking soda) and as i suspected would happen it DID make my skin red and a little irritated. however, i do have EXTREMELY sensitive skin unfortunately. i might dilute the strength a little more next time and see how that goes. or maybe just use it as a scrub rather than leaving on my face for an extended period of time. i can see how it would work tho on others....i liked the consistency etc on my face...and the price of course :)

Mascara -L'Oreal - Lash Architect Mascara [DISCONTINUED]

it's been a bit bashed but i really like this mascara, so much so that i've got it in black and brown. there seems to be a lot of 'product' on the brush which then transfers onto the lashes. my lashes are straight so i use an eyelash curler and then this mascara and they really do go a little fake-like! nothing else seems to do the same job for me and i HATE buying mascaras that i use once or twice and then never again.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

will never understand what the hype with the mascara is. did nothing for me whatsoever. straightened my eyelash-curler-curled lashes too. i almost feel like saying it was like a "watered down" mascara meaning there wasn't enough product on the brush or something?!?! anyway, won't repurchase!

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

very average. waited till i went to the States on holidays to buy from sephora. in oz is around $50 - ripoff. after i'd curled my dead straight lashes with an eyelash curler this mascara made them go straight again!!! not worth the hype.

Lip Treatments -Unlisted Brand - ego QV - Lip Balm SPF 20
rated 5 of 5
ShazScrap 5/27/2008 7:43:00 AM

When my lips are really dry and cracked this is the ONLY product that will get them back to normal. I find it's not only a treatment but also a PREVENTITIVE against dry lips. Kinda pricey at about $7 a tube (if you compare to a $2 chapstick) but definitely worth it. Feels nice and smooth too as opposed to vaseline which I find a bit sticky. BEST lip treatment ever.

Eyeliner -Unlisted Brand - Face of Australia Liquid Eyeliner
rated 5 of 5

Love this product. Use it in black regularly. Stays on all day/night no worries! Great price too. For those in Oz, you can get it in Priceline. The only neg I would say is that the brush isn't at a point but kinda flattish if that makes sense which can be tricky at first. However, it is nice and soft and bendy which I like instead of hard and non-malleable. Highly recommended.

Lipstick -Paula's Choice - Smooth Matte Lipstick - Just Kissed
rated 4 of 5
ShazScrap 5/27/2008 6:36:00 AM

The website description suggests more of a pinkish hue...quote from website: "your lips only better"...however on me it is a little more brown. I really like it though because it goes on in a foolproof manner and looks great with any other makeup colours, be it smokey eye, neutral eye, etc etc. Would repurchase. (for ref I am MAC NC30)

Picked up a whole heap of Jordana stuff when in the States last year. I wish we could get this in Aus!! Gorgeous colour and great quality. Glides on so well, so creamy. Fantastic colour too. Lovely and rich and dark. And SO cheap it's ridiculous!! Go out and buy :)
