Lipstick -Revlon - Rose Velvet

I haven't bought this colour before, but I am going to check it out. Generally, you can't go wrong with Revlon products. There is a reason they have been around for almost 80 years. I just wanted to note, since someone made reference to animal testing, that according to Paula Begoun, Revlon doesn't test on animals. I'm sure they did at one time, they all did, but I am confident that they no longer do.

Why Why WHY do cosmetic companies think that we want shimmer and sparkles in foundation and/or concealer?? Shimmer in eye shadow - sure. Shimmer in lipstick/gloss - sure. Looking like you have been sprinkled with fairy dust - I don't think so. It is "supposed" to make you look less tired (code words for less old) but it only succeeds in making you look unnatural. To end on a plus note, though, I do like the squeeze tube much better than a bottle.
