Crème -Avon - Ideal Shade Cream-To-Powder Foundation w/SFP 15
ShannonEmily123 5/12/2013 5:33:00 PM
Ugh this is horrible! I bought this on offer as I heard cream to powder foundations were more suited to oily skin. Definately not this one! I bought this in the lightest colour ivory, which was miles to dark for my pale skin and made me look orange. It highlighted pores, felt greasy and looked greasy too. Within half hour my face was that shiny and oily to the point where I wiped it off while I was out... Not impressed at all! Thank god I bought this while it was on offer!!
Foundations -Max Factor - Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation
ShannonEmily123 5/12/2013 5:25:00 PM
This is quite simply- horrible. It's greasy, sits on the skin, transfers/rubs off very easily, highlights pores, lines and fine hairs on the face. My face looked like it hadn't been washed in a month within an hour of having this product on my face. Not impressed at all especially since I paid £12 for this!!!
Powder -Avon - Anew age-transforming pressed powder SPF 15

This is the best powder i have ever used! I use it as a lightweight foundation by applying it with a kabuki brush. It hides and blurs out imperfections without being thick and it feels great! It makes the skin look and feel like velvet. Plus the SPF15 is an added bonus! It doesn't make dry skin obvious, it doesn't settle into fine lines or stick to little fine hairs either! It lasts all day on my oily skin too, it makes the skin look flawless and matte. I LOVE IT!!
Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation

I absolutely love this foundation! This is like my holy grail. Let me describe my skin. My skin is oily on the t-zone with dry cheeks. I have a few spots and scars from previous acne. I have blackheads and a broken cap on the end of my nose. I have fine hairs allover my face too. I have enlarged pores and freckles. All the other foundations i have tried ranging from Clarins, Estee Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent, Revlon ect... always make my skin look greasy after a few hours and also sit on top of the skin so it transferrs onto clothes. They also made the hairs on my face stand out making my face look old and streaky. I can tell you that this foundation does not and for that it is absolutely fantastic! It blends in like a dream and leaves no sign that you are even wearing foundation! It reduces the appearance of my pores, and disguises the redness of spots and scars quite well. I do usually use a concealer on top just to make the coverage even better, but it does look fine on its own. I also found that it lasts quite a while aswell, from 7:30 in the morning when i apply it to 3:00 afternoon it is a tiny bit shiny (not that noticeable) but when you apply powder on top it usually lasts all day with no shinyness! It does settle into fine lines a bit too, but that can be easily fixed using a primer before applying. It smells lovely and i love it!! Pro's- lasts a long time on oily skin, smells nice, blends very well, very natural, medium coverage Con's- can get shiny when used without powder, settles into fine lines, not enough coverage for those with bad skin
As other toners on the market are designed for different things like blackheads, spots, skin tone and other stuff this one is just to clean out pores and residue of your cleanser really. It doesn't absorb oil, doesn't really help with black heads or spots. It's just a toner. It does make your face feel nice and clean,it tightens your pores temporarily. Its a good product for the price.
Great coverage. Does crease around the eye area but that happens with every over concealers on the market really. It isn't drying and it isn't greasy on my oily skin. It lasts around 3-4 hours without a primer on my skin. Overall it's a good product.
Love this brow pencil! It's soo soft, yet lasts ages. I have had my Rimmel brow pencil for about a year now and haven't even had to sharpen it once, after using it nearly everyday! I like how you get a brush on the end too which is really handy,i use it on my eyelashes too and it does a great job of grooming and shaping your brows into place. It looks so natural for a pencil as my experience with pencils are that they look un natural and disgusting. My only complaint is they could be more shade ranges!
LOVE THIS!!! I have grapeseed oil which is used for massaging from my local Holland & Barratt but still use it on my face. I have mild rosacea with a broken blood vessel on the end of my nose and one on the outside of my nostril,i also have a few small ones on my cheeks. Applying grapeseed oil everyday for a week only on my affected areas has helped fade them so much. The broken capliiaries in my nose are already fading and i don't even need makeup to cover them anymore! As for the ones on my cheeks, they are completely gone and my blotchy, patchy red rosacea cheeks now look like natural pink cheeks! I am amazed, although my rosacea isn't cured it looks like i am naturally rosy which looks beautiful on my pale skin :) I have had no more blocked pores then i normally would have from this oil, which suprised me considering i have oily skin which is really bad for blocked pores. Great!!
Mascara -Barry M - Mascara & Eyebrow Definer Clear
ShannonEmily123 7/17/2012 12:54:00 PM
I paid £6 for this out of Superdrug but it's the quality of a cheap pound shop item...well,pound shop items are probably better quality actually! First the applicator is a brush, and waaay to much of the gel comes out onto the applicator,so you have to scrape it off. I used it only on my eyebrows, and it looked horrible. It made them look wet and didn't seem to dry well, but when it did dry it looked horrible and flaky like i had dandruff in my eyebrows. EWW. I hate this product.
Eyeliner -Collection 2000 - EXTREME 24 HOUR FELT TIP LINER
ShannonEmily123 7/15/2012 11:05:00 AM
I love the colour ranges! I have this eyeliner in 'Teal' and 'Blackest Black' I love both of them. You can make the strokes as thick or as thin as you want, and it lasts ages. I tested the colours on my hand in the shop and it took me hours to get it off even scrubbing with soap and water.
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!! After several attempts to calm my sensitive, red skin i have finally found my miracle product. After my first application my skin tone had improved so much that could go out without makeup on and still be confident. I wouldn't really call it a serum though,it's more like a lotion to me but that's not really a bad thing. And for £2.49,you cannot go wrong! I tried lemon juice on my skin the other day to try and tighten my pores, which has made my face really red. Luckily i have my serum and it has helped dramatically. I love love love this serum/lotion!! I cannot praise it enough!
Oxidised from a natural look to an oompa loompa look. Gosh. Went all watery in the tube after a couple of weeks and could not get back to normal after paying £12 for my tube!! Made my skin super oily, more then i am normally. Basically, this foundation is crap. Do not buy, please!
I don't really see how this is a primer. I'd think of it more as a highlighter. It does help to hide imperfections, but not much. It is great for highlighting cheekbones, brow bones ect.. but be careful not to use allover your face as you can look very glittery. (Trust me,i made that mistake!)
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational Lip Stain- 65 Cranberry Crush
ShannonEmily123 7/15/2012 10:39:00 AM
Well first off, i didn't buy the cranberry crush colour. I bought it in the shade of 'Wink of Pink'. Well i thought i did anyway, turned out to be red on my lips but on the packaging it said pink! It did smelly realllllly nice though, sometimes i would just bring it out with me just to smell it :P It did last okay, but does wear off after 2-3 hours. Just beware of the shade range as it is not how it seems on the packaging!
I have a bit of a love hate relationship with this primer thingy. I love how it feels on the skin for the first hour or so. Afterwards,it makes my skin disgustingly oily and greasy. Ew,ew,ew. It feels so siliconey aswell. It did nothing for the lasting power of my foundation, just made it apply better and smoother. After a few hours it highlights pores, and makes my skin appear bumpy and disgusting. Basically,it is not worth the money that Avon charge. It isn't suitable for oily or combination skin and definately not dry as it does highlight dry patches.
