An effective tool that will probably last me a lifetime. I do my own manicures at home and have tough cuticles. After using a cuticle remover cream and orange stick (sorry can't join the burning of the stick parade) I use this pusher afterwords when my nails are completely dry. On weeks I don't use a cuticle remover cream, this pusher does a great job on its own. I keep it away from all moisture- I am a bit scared of rusting, and therefore don't get in anywhere near cuticle remover creams.

An amazing product! I have always had long brow hairs and used a lot brow gell to keep them in place. After buying these scissors my brows look a lot better ( and less of a need to use a brow product). My hands are really shaky so I was nervous to use them at first, but these are really easy to use as you can rest it right on your brow and make small snips.

I think eyelash curlers are a bit hit and miss- for me this was a miss. I have a very rounded eye shape with long lashes and if I want to get the curler around my entire lash line, I inevitably pinch my eye. It I use it at an angle, the inside lashes get curled very nicely, but get a strange crimp on my outer lashes. In terms of holding a curl, my lashes don't hold one at all, so I don't think it is the fault of the product at all. This might work better if you have a less curved lash line. On the positive side- they seem very well made and come with a lot of replacement pads.

Conditioner -Aveda - Smooth Infusion

I have long hair which is thick, course and dry. This conditioner is perfect for hydrating my hair without leaving a slime layer on my hair that a lot of other conditioners leave. I have to use a little more of this product that other conditioners to get a good effect, but it is worth it. leaves my hair soft, moisturized and reduces my fly-aways. Makes straightening my hair a breeze as well. The scent is a bit strange and needs getting used to- reminds me of lemon and clove. I only use it once in a while when I feel like my hair is getting a bit dry- using it every time I wash would get a bit too expensive.

I just realized that I have used this product on and off for 10 years- I think it deserves a revue. I have fairly dry course hair that is a but wavey. After air drying, I sometimes apply a 2 pea sized amount to the roots of my second day hair to add some moisture back into the ends and keep my hair smooth. I use some in my hair before I use a straightening iron. I feel that the extra moisture make the straightening a bit easier and leaves my hair feeling smooth. I love the smell- quintessential aveda scent I cant get enough of.

Concealers -Coastal Scents - Camo Quad - Medium

I have come back to this concealer after a long time of neglecting it. I use it mostly to cover up red or darker blemishes on my cheek and around my nose. It is great as I can use it any time of year (I range from NC30 to 40) and not have to buy a new shade. It lasts a really long time on flat surfaces on my face even in very hot weather. The only problem I have it that it creases a but around my nose and mouth near my smile lines. For the price, versatility and ease of use (just need fingers!) this is a great product. Will keep me over until I find another pan concealer which doesn't crease as much.

Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 30

I use sunscreen everyday, but since my face gets pretty oily in the heat, I wanted something that would leave my face non-shiny. At first I thought this was great and felt like it did have a dry touch, but the product didn't seem to completely absorb into my skin. Although I finished the entire bottle, when I switched back to my usual olay complete defence spf30, I realized just how bad the neutrogena sunscreen is- it leaves a thick film on your skin, and although it feels matte to the touch, it is still shiny and leaves a bit of a white cast of my face.

I have a sensitive scalp and by roots get quite oily, while the rest of my shoulder length hair is quite dry and course. Usually I switch between multiple shampoos/ conditioners throughout the month to have a good clean scalp while keeping the moisture in the ends of my hair. This shampoo has worked amazingly well for me, and it is the only shampoo I have used in the past 4 months. Keeps my scalp clean and non-irritated while not drying out my hair. I haven't had to rely so much on conditioners as well to keep my hair soft as well. I think I will be sticking with this shampoo for a long time to come (this coming from a person who used to rotate between 5 different bottles of shampoo!)

I used this product for about 2 years. I was skeptical about how well this product worked at protecting my hair from heat from the beginning. I used it every time I blow dried or straightened my hair. In terms of appearance of damage I saw no difference. Now that I haven't been using a product specifically marketed as a heat protector for a year now I don't feel that my hair is any more damaged than when I was using one. I think the logic behind how a liquid can protect your hair from heat is a loss on me. Essentially you need heat to style your hair. It the product was protecting your hair- doesn't that mean style would be more difficult? If I sprayed this on the outside of my steaming cup of hot cocoa, wouldn't it mean that I would be easily be able to pick it up with my bare hands? No. Personally, I think heat protectors are a marketing ploy.

Eyes -MAC - Sublime Nature Paint

I use this in the summer to even out the color or my eyelids ( I don't use anything over it). Color payoff is is great, applies easily with my fingers and blends well. Gives a put of shine to my eye lids without being over the top and reduces the darkness of my lids. The packaging it useless. It is hard not to waste product. That being said, one tube has lasted me a very long time even though I use it almost every other day in the summer

I was originally hoping to use this as a glowy blush, but the color payoff is nill on my NC35 skin. I have instead used it as a highlighter, especially in the winter to give my skin some sense of life. looks beautiful and not glittery at all. The particles are very finely milled. I also use it on top of matte blushes to give me a bit more of a shine. Perfect for day and night. I couldn't ask for more.

MOM is almost like magic for oil control. I have combination skin, but have been living in +35-40 Celsius temperatures so I have had a pretty shiny face as a result. It works great to control shine and oil. Although I have used it under foundation (Bourjois healthy mix and EL DW light) I felt that it make it look a bit cakey in parts of my face. I prefer to use MOM under MAC mineralized skinfinish natural (it reduces the ashy look the MOM leaves) for the most natural look . I experimented with application (foundation brush, wet sponge, cotton ball) but found that applying it with a round cotton pad (or the non-disposable type made from cotton fabric) works best. I apply it like I would a toner- just sweeping it across my entire face and making sure there aren't any puddles of product that have accumulated. Let it dry for 5 minutes and then brush off any areas where the white powder has accumulated. Easy as. Also to note- I couldn't find a non-flavoured variety of MOM (I'm in Australia) so I got the mint flavoured kind. I haven't had any problems with it at all.

Brows -Revlon - Colorstay Brow Enhancer

This was the first brow product I have ever used and I thought it was pretty fool proof (and there is no need to sharpen!). It is really easy and quick to use- helped fill in the bows in a fairly natural way and helped keep the longer hairs in place without the need for a brow gell. I never used the highlighter end as the product was too dry and looked chalky on my skin. Although I did end up using the entire brow end (lasted be about 10 months) I think the coloring was a bit on the red side.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

I use this on most days to set foundation and even on days when I am not- just to keep the shine down. Works great, easy to travel with, inexpensive, doesn't look cakey. Although it does do a decent job at keeping my foundation in place, it isn't the best at oil control in hot summer weather (I prefer something with silicone at those times).

I have used this as a clear polish for years now. It lasts without chipping if you use two coats. Dries in a decent time unlike other clear polishes I have used. When it does chip, (if you are using it as a clear polish) it isn't too noticeable. Lasts me about 2 weeks without touch-ups
