This serum is absorbed instantly, and without making my hair greasy or dirty looking. It is a more affordable alternative to Orofluido's Elixir, and I think I prefer this to that because it is a little lighter. The fragrance is similar, and I like it. I can apply this serum on my damp hair and it makes my hair feel like silk. I apply it on dry hair and it tames frizzies and gives a tousled look. Who could ask for more?

Got a sample in my October Birchbox, and I like it a lot. On me it is a warm floral. Sadly, I do not smell the pumpkin or the lavender. It is not girlish, or grannyish, it is ladylike and pretty. I like Harvey Prince's Hello a little more, but eau Flirt is pretty nice.

I was obsessed with Caldrea's Mandarin Vetiver Linen & Room Spray and would spritz it on myself, so I decided to give this a shot in the hopes of satisfying my lust. As a lotion it is very good--very moisturizing and clears up any little red marks within a few days. The scent, well, I mostly smell the citrusy half, and it smells a bit skunky, for some reason. One of the Amazon reviews compared the scent to pot. I don't want to go out smelling skunky, and I don't know if anyone else picks up that note, so I wear it at bedtime and around the house.

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Hair Rules Volumizing Shampoo

Got a small bottle in June's Birchbox. Had high hopes, but can't say I'm a fan. I have to use a ton to get it worked through my hair. Low lathering shampoo is one thing, but what is the point of wasting product by using more because it won't distribute itself through your hair? I think this is $15-or so. The fragrance is yucky. It smells dirty, maybe like dirty hair and cigars and patchouli. If I have any styling product or oil in my hair--just forget it, I have to grab another bottle of something to finish shampooing. Maybe if you have short hair or thin hair it will work, but, blah.

Cleansers -L'Oreal - Go 360 Clean Deep Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin

Phew. What a mistake this was! I needed a cleanser, but didn't want to spend $20 on my usual Clarins, so I gave this a try. I used it twice--on Saturday, and Sunday. After the first wash my skin had a few spots. Today, after the second wash on Sunday, I look like I've been whacked with a meat tenderizer. I'm covered with spots. They aren't pimples, exactly, just spotty. The brush is gentle, and the cleanser is gentle, and non-drying, but they are irritating, just the same.

The color is lovely, but the staying power is highly disappointing. Painted my toenails yesterday and already have chips on 3 toes. This color was sold in the Morticia's Nails collection, not sure if it available otherwise.

Got this as part of a GWP, but I've used it before, and had forgotten how much I liked it. It is so pretty--it smells like summer. It smells like sunshine and flowers and travel and happiness. The perfume lists the notes: Olfactive Family: Green Floral. Head Notes: Mandarin, Crushed Mint Leaves. Mid Notes: Headspace Daphne, Lily-of-the-Valley. Base Note: Cedar. I can't rave enough, just smelling it makes me feel good.

If you like Yves Rocher's Monoï Oil, you'll like this. It smells as rich as the oil, but it isn't as overwhelming. It is non-drying and the fragrance's staying power is so-so.

Like the matching shower cream, this fragrance smells good, but it is too light. It does smell warm, and faintly of coconut. It smells good on its own, and layered with other summery scents.

One of the better coconut scents I've tried. I can't smell the pineapple too well. Could be scented a little more, but it cleans well and is non-drying.

Smells like a lighter, less cloying version of Yves Rocher's Traditional Gardenia Oil Monoï. It is light and fresh and feminine and reminds me of Bobbi Brown's Beach Shimmer Oil. Gorgeous layered with other fragrances.

Used it a couple times and ended up with 4 painful pimples for my trouble. Hopefully it will remain just 4 pimples. It is non-drying and non-reddening though.

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium

I've tried other BBs, like Dior and Dr Jart, and was not impressed. Got a magazine sample of this & decided to take the plunge. Very happy I did! I'm pale with olive undertones, and this color suits me fine, even though it looks dark. Dr Jart's was too grayish on me, Dior's was okay, but wasn't 100% me. This slides on easily and I blend it with a sponge, then I apply my sunblock. It adds just a hint of color and evens everything out, but doesn't hide my skin or look like I'm wearing a lot of makeup. I like it, and will probably buy another tube when I use this one.
