Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous Million Lashes

I picked this one up at a sale and didn't expect much out of it considering that I didn't enjoy the much raved about Voluminous so much but much to my surprise this is actually a pretty good mascara. The key is to first curl your lashes, tip off the excess mascara from the wand back into the tube and then then sweep from the root of your lashes to the tip in a kind of combing motion... it works wonders for my lashes. Even my coworker asked if I was wearing falsies! (I have semi-long sparse asian lashes, however they do have a natural curl to them)

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Perfect Cover BB Cream

Great coverage for a BB cream, the colour I got was #23 which was slightly darker than my skin and I had bad acne for a while (super sensitive oily skin) so I covered it up with this BB cream and it looked flawless but it broke me out like no tomorrow :( I stopped using it on my face and my skin improved so now I only use this on my T-zone if I ever need it. Not repurchasing as the ingredients irritate my skin =.=

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Lancome Juicy Tubes

Cute gloss, I have it in "Love Potion" and it does give a nice colour to my lips and makes them glossy and flashy. The only problem I have with it is the stickiness... that really irritates me for lip glosses.

Mascara -Prestige - Lash Matrix in Black

Got this on sale for 25% at Pharmas Plus hoping that it'd live up to it's name. I quickly hurried home to try it for this Christmas party I had and I was so disappointed. It did lengthen(not that much) and volumize a little but it was really clumpy. Even after 1 coat, my lashes look like a clumpy mess. Not considering repurchasing ever again. It also had a bad flaking problem and it smudged quickly... my eyes were so irritated.

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Colorstay 12-Hour Eyeshadow quad "Spring Moss"

Got this on sale for 6.99 with a free mascara and I was somewhat surprised with the results. It is very sheer in colour... but it does blend nicely and make my eyes pop. Compared to past Revlon products that I have tried including the cream eye shadows, this is by far one of their better products. Might consider repurchasing if it is dirt cheap.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal

I was so excited when I bought this because it had received so much hype from beauty and makeup blogs everywhere. As soon as I tried it.. I was disappointed. It did volumize and lengthen but the classic black was not black enough for me. The product itself is very gooey and whenever I dip the brush in.. lots of excess product come with it. In the middle of the day.. my eyes get somewhat irritated and the smell is hardly bearable. Overall, this would be a good mascara if they made it in 2 shades darker, and made it waterproof. Probably won't be repurchasing anytime in the near future.

Mascara -Rimmel - Glam Eyes

One of the first Rimmel mascaras I have ever tried and I am in LOVE with this! I use it every morning when I wake up for school and my lashes look long, curvy and voluminous! One slight downfall is that if I apply too much it sometimes tends to flake a bit, but hardly noticeable. Definitely will be back for more of this baby.

Walmart is the place to search for inexpensive mascaras at an affordable price so I decided to purchase this one because it said "Air-whipped, lighter than regular mascaras and volumizes!" It did volumize, but the product was gooey and my lashes turned out somewhat clumpy so I will not be buying this again.

Moisturizers -St. Ives - Collagen-Elastin Essential Moisturizer

I got this on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart and at first, I just left it alone in the cupboard. One day, my skin felt extremely dry because I used to over cleanse and my skin went from extremely oily to now dry and Oil of Olay did not help much. I slapped some of this on my face and the next day I noticed that my skin was not dry anymore, and also it felt smooth and moisturized. For the price of this, I will definitely be buying this again sometime in the near future.

Eye Shadow -Annabelle - Eye Dust - Solar

I got this one on sale at Pharmas Plus for about $4.00 and I also got the Azure and Limelight. This has nice pigmentation, fair staying power and the packaging is better than the NYX Ultra Pearl Mania. My disappointment was that the colour actually turned out more pigmented and vibrant than I thought it would be.. so I don't use this often, but definitely repurchasing when it goes on sale again or when I run out.

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Nourishing Mascara Triple Effect

I got this baby yesterday at a cosmetics warehouse at my local mall. It was 2 Almay mascaras for $5.00 so I figured heck why not? On my way home.. I was thinking whether or not it will actually have the "triple effect".. I mean lengthening, volumizing and curling power? Boy was I anxious to try this one out. I got home... quickly unraveled the package and used sparingly. It did lengthen, and volumize somewhat but since I already have lashes that curl up.. the fact that it didn't do such a great job at curling didn't bother me. I will definitely go back and repurchase this at the earth shattering price it is at.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose

I got this in a mini tube trial because my mom bought some Lancome cosmetics and it came with a free gift and since she doesn't use mascara, she gave this to me. This looked slightly clumpy at first, but lengthens and volumizes my lashes like crazy! I have naturally curled, somewhat long lashes but a bit sparse so this really did the trick to fill the gap and made them look fabulous. I will have to save up to purchase the full version but I will definitely repurchase when I have the money.

Eye Shadow -NYX - Ultra Pearl Mania

I live in Canada so it is hard to come across NYX products at the regular drugstores. To my surprise, Pharmas Plus actually sold NYX so I hovered towards the little section and scampered through the Ultra Pearl Mania pigments. They are quite expensive in comparison to the United States. (About 4.99 plus tax, which is not bad but still hefty for the amount that was in the little bottle) I got the green one and the purple one... which I forgot the exact names to. I got home and gave it a try and they were quite pigmented and had a nice staying power but the packaging is not good at all. I swear I must've killed like 1/8 of the bottle when I first dipped my brush in there. Nevertheless, I will definitely repurchase again when the price goes down.

I bought this at the drugstore where they had a sale where ALL L'oreal mascaras were $6.00 and since this one came with one bonus I decided to buy this. I opened the tube and the formula looked very wet and gooey so I hesitated before I used it, but after I used it, my eyelashes were very voluminous indeed and it lengthened quite a bit. It did slightly clump and I had to use a comb to separate my lashes but 2 bottles of this baby for $6.00? That's definitely worth it's price.

This caught my eye at the drugstore due to it's shape and it was on sale so I decided to get it. I TOTALLY LOVE THIS MASCARA!! I use it every morning before I head to school and I always get friends complimenting on how long my lashes are! This does clump slightly, but it fans out my lashes and gives them a false lash effect, it also lengthens crazily, and adds volume so it is the perfect mascara for me. Only thing is, it is a bit pricey at my drugstores unless it's on sale, so I must wait for it to go on sale before I go repurchase.
