Biotherm's Source Therapie is an interesting product. The real intention is used as an extra hydrating boost (like a serum), underneath your usual moisturizer. I find it does what it says and is a good add on to my daily regime. The scent is clean and refreshing whether applying it day or night. A small pump or two will do to cover the face and the neck. I am surprised people try to use it as a moisturizer. To feel and see the real benefit is applying moisturizer overtop. Your face feels a lot softer and hydrated, it looks a lot more even and is a definite plus during drier seasons. It is true that it may seem a little costly, but the bottle itself lasts a reasonable amount of time, so I think its worth it. Ask for a little sample, try it! I will repurchase.

Liquid -Estee Lauder - Double Wear
rated 4 of 5

I have the common oily-combination skin with a couple of acne scars and tiny blemishes (hidden cleverly under my bangs hehe) I use it in 2W1 sand 36. I am asian with more of a neutral colouring with pinky near my forehead and yellow on my cheeks. I came back from a trip with major breakouts and uneven skintone. In a rush, I ran to the Bay (Canada) cosmetic counter with a frantic "help me" look on my face and a nearly empty wallet. The SA at Estee Lauder answered my desperate call and showed me the Double wear Foundation. I was hesitant at first with the price and the glass bottle. I am a klutz to the max and drop just about everything. However, I was desperate so I carried it home. The first time trying it on ( in the winter) , I was amazed. My skin looked healthy, glowy and nearly perfect. I used my fingers first and later switched to the MAC 187 brush which gave it a softer more airbrushed look. A plus was with the brush I used much less product. However, nearing summer and warmer weather, I have noticed that I no longer needed the full coverage. I mixed some moisturizer with the foundation and mixed it on my hand with my finger. It turned into a lighter creamy texture. I LOVE IT now and use it all the time with the moisturizer mixed with it. Pros: It has a great coverage and has not given me any breakouts. It hides just about everything. (Sometimes I am too lazy to pluck the tiny hairs under my eyebrows and use it to cover up haha). The bottle lasts forever. It has an spf ten (however i always use a sunscreen over it because spf 10 will get you no where) The bottle looks fab on my bathroom counter. The frosted glass is pretty. Also, i dont ever use concealer anymore because the coverage eliminates that step. Cons: The packaging is harder to use. I get hesitant tipping the glass so I use a Q tip (solves the problem). I have to use blotting sheets but only 1 a day is fine (from time span of 8 til 8.) May be cakey for people with dryer areas on their face, so try exfolianting before and use a nice primer.
