This Clinique lipstick is my go-to red. It's actually the same shade as my lips, only darker. I love the shimmer and the staying power. It really lights up my face and is ALWAYS in my purse.

Hair Color -Clairol - Natural Instincts Hair Color

I've used Natural Instincts dark ash blond (Sandalwood -10) for years and love the results. I visit my stylist every three weeks to keep my super short hairstyle rocking, but I have saved megabucks coloring it myself every six weeks. It's easy to apply, covers my gray thoroughly and then washes out gradually without any root worries. The color treat conditioner included is excellent. My hair feels like silk and is very shiny. Fantastic!

Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers - Swiss Chocolate

This shimmery gold shade is gorgeous! For a truly smashing effect, I apply Cover Girl's Tapestry Taupe lightly from lash line to brow, then sweep Swiss Chocolate on my lid only. It looks great with my dark brown eyes and fair complexion.

I love the gorgeous, shimmery taupe shade. This eyeshadow makes my very dark brown eyes really sparkle, has just enough shimmer without being glittery and lasts all day. The low price is a steal.

Eyeliner -Cover Girl - Line Exact

Why did Cover Girl have to 'update' this eyeliner? The newer version in a smaller package is thin, runny and takes forever to dry. It's terrible. Thank goodness I stocked up on the 'old' version in slate and dark brown.

I love this foundation. It was on sale, so I tried N2, which is a PERFECT match for my skin. So many friends and colleagues have told me I look rested. Even my husband said I was 'glowing.' The formula is light, silky and goes on flawlessly with a sponge. I put my True Blend in a tiny squeeze bottle which holds about half the foundation for ease of application and cleanliness. Fantastic.

I tried the Colour Rush Duo eyeshadow in Biscuit Box and absolutely love it! I use the darker color on my lids, and the lighter shade as a highlighter. This combination really makes my dark brown eyes pop and is not too stark for my fair combination The shimmer isn't too glittery or overwhelming and there's no creasing even after 10 hours. Application is key here: use a sponge-tip applicator, not a brush. A real bargain.

I agree that it doesn't last eight hours, but it stays on better than any gloss I've ever used, at ANY price. The color is shimmery and beautiful. I like the slightly citrus fragrance and will definitely try all the plum and pink shades.

Treatments -Olay - 14 Day Skin Intervention

I'll have to admit I was skeptical about this product, but the results are obvious. After 14 days, my face and neck were smoother and soft as a baby's butt. My only advice is to put it on at least two hours before going to bed; this product is very rich and needs time to absorb before your head hits the pillow. The 'lifting' results seem to show up a week or so AFTER you use it, but softer, smoother skin is apparent after the first night. I plan to use it every six months to perk up my face and neck. Great product.

I love this lotion. The texture is light, the fragrance is pleasant. I've been using it for over a year now and my face has no dark freckles or sun damage spots. Fantastic results. However, because an SPF of 15 isn't quite enough for life in the sunny south, I use an SPF 55 sunblock (Aveeno Baby) every day.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength Nail Colour in Diamonds

I love this polish! It's gorgeous used alone and lovely as a topcoat. The bits of shimmer in the polish are tiny, not like the large chunks of glitter visible in cheaper nail products. I WAS satisfied with Cover Girl's 3 in 1 Silver Lightning, until I tried this. The Sally Hansen polish costs more, but the staying power is excellent. And I like the fact that this polish has no DBP, Toluene or Free Formaldehyde. Fantastic product!

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous Shiny Sheers in Sheer Glistening Rose 825

I tried Sheer Plum Drop a year ago and have been using it ever since. The color is a go-with-most-every gorgeous plum. The applicator is slim enough to keep in your pocket and makes application a breeze. The only minor issue is the staying power isn't that long. To solve this issue, I apply and blot gently twice, then apply a thin coat of Clinque's Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Raspberry. Works like a charm! I also love Sheer Cherry Pop which is brighter and lovely on my lips when I wear turquoise.

I recently decided to 'update' my fragrance collection. So, after being liberally doused at the fragrance counter of my favorite store (but not so much as to make anyone pass out!) went shopping for a couple of hours, so I could find out how my body chemistry would react and also to determine if the aftertones would be funky on me. I love it! It's floral and fresh - exactly what I was looking for. A little goes a LONG way.

I bought a little 'tub' of this wonderful shea butter cream years ago and have been using it daily ever since. It works miracles on dry cuticles! It IS very rich and creamy, so I don't slather it all over my hands. This cream is a real cuticle-saver in the winter and it works wonders on dry, cracked heels too. Great product for a reasonable price.

Excellent sunblock. I use it daily on my face and neck. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin and the creamy texture is nice. A little goes a long way!
