Made my eyes water and burn.
Two words. Cystic acne.
Styling Products -TiGi - Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray
Scott77 11/27/2012 4:05:00 PM
I rarely use hairspray but when I do I need something to control my hair and look natural without leaving a dulling layer of glue causing helmet head. This is perfect. Pros: Light yet strong control. Smells like candy. Adds shine. Does not feel sticky. Not too expensive. Cons: The scent might be a problem for people who hate sweet candy type scents in their hair.
Shampoo -Kerastase - Bain Miroir 2 Shine Revealing Shampoo
Scott77 11/27/2012 3:56:00 PM
This may have been discontinued as it is no longer on the Kerastase USA website. Pros: Gentle color safe shampoo that contains mild sulphates (Sodium Laureth Sulphate) so it works well in rotation with sulphate free shampoos. I use it as my once a week clarification shampoo without worry of it stripping my color. Mild smell. Leaves hair very shiney and in control. Hair is left with body and feels very soft. Highly concentrated so it is actually not as expensive per use as it seems. Cons: Expensive May have been discontinued.
BB Cream -Skinfood - Rose lemon tea BB cream SPF20 PA+
Scott77 11/27/2012 3:53:00 PM
Great natural looking product. I still prefer the SF Aloe to this, but still an excellent product. Pros: Provides SPF 20. Provides moisture without looking greasy. Nice finish. Color blends to match skin tone in about ten minutes. Nice rose lemon scent. Looks like bare yet healthy skin. Cons: None
Of all the BB creams I reviewed this is my favorite. It is a dupe (to me at least) of the La Mer TM. Same performance, texture, etc. Side by side Shade 2 of the SF is nearly identical to medium of the LM. Pros: SPF 20 Natural look. After 10 minutes the shade blends with your skintone and looks like a better version of your own skin. Very inexpensive if purchased online. Nice mild scent. Not too dewey, not too matte. Larger amount than the other SF BB creams. Cons: None
Hair -Unlisted Brand - Salon Grafix Citrus Creme Conditioning Cleanser, 12 oz
Scott77 11/27/2012 3:46:00 PM
Pros: Reasonably priced. Cleans well without stripping color. Scent is mild but not citrus (this may or may not be a pro depending on how you feel about perfumed hair products. Rinses clean. Leaves hair shiney. No Menthol! Cons: The scent is described as "citrus" but smells more like bugspray and nursing home. Still it does not last long.
Nothing has ever worked as well at evening skintone (I use in conjunction with hydroquinone). Pros: Actually proven to be effective on serious skin issues. Cons: Irritating to all but the most insensitive skin. However, in time skin adjusts and benefits accrue. Expensive.
Why Lush does not start using milder sulphates like Sodium Laureth Sulphate instead of Sodium Laurel Sulphate (much, much harsher) is beyond me. Pros: Great Scent Economical and ecological. Cons: Drying, color stripping shampoo. If you want to de grease your driveway, give it a shot. For those with oily and non-color treated hair this would work.
Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Crystal Body Deodorant Stick

Pretty good product that works great on my feet :). I would not be able to use this as a regular deodorant in the warmer months. Pros: Safe Works for feet. Inexpensive Cons: Does not protect against odor on long warm days.
BB Cream -L'Oreal - Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream
Scott77 10/26/2012 4:35:00 PM
To me this is really just a fantastic primer, or product to even out complexion. Pros: Inexpensive Almost no coverage, yet skin looks better. Cons: Does not do very much, and I think marketed as a primer would be better, but hey, everything is about the BB creams so I gues that explains the marketing approach. Still not a bad product.
Treatments -Garnier - Sleek and Shine Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment
Scott77 10/26/2012 4:32:00 PM
Of all the argan + cones products I have tried, this is by far my favorite. Here is why: Pros: Adds shine without greasy build up. Smells fantastic. Inexpensive. Does not weigh hair down. Cons: None
Treatments -L'Oreal - EverCreme Deep Nourishing Masque
Scott77 10/25/2012 3:50:00 PM
Hair heaven in a jar! This compares to much more expensive products also manufactured by L'Oreal, like Kerastase! Pros: Fantastic shine. Fantastic softness. Does not weigh hair down while making hair less unruly. Great fragrance (may be a con for those who are fragrance sensitive) Inexpensive and easily available at most retail outlets and online. Cons: Fragrance may be too much for frangrance sensitive individuals.
