I was hoping this foundation would become my everyday foundation however it just does not agree with my skin, Ive used this with a primer and setting powder and without but i still always look oily especially around my nose which i don't usually get with foundations as i have fairly dry skin. Another downer is that it clings to my dry patches on my cheeks and the tip of my nose ( so to paint a pretty picture for you.. this foundation makes me oily around my nose but the tip dry...its awful). Packaging is very standard but this does not bother me at all, but do note this is a very watery foundation. In terms of coverage its light, yet it does even out my skin tone and covers my redness. Lastly the price is very reasonable i think i paid around £8 which is very cheap. It provides a dewy finish and I can still feel that I'm wearing foundation So to some up .... PROS: price, light coverage but can even out skin tone, blends well CONS: emphasis my dry patches but at the same time I appear oily. Does oxidise and you will need to wear a primer. Without a primer it lasts about 4 hours, with 6 hours max FYI - I am a nw25/nc25 in mac with slightly more yellowish undertones, i have dark circles and get red on my nose and cheeks. I wear shade 130 Shell in this foundation.

I wasn't a huge fan of it, at the moment I use it only for sake of using it as I've brought it and want to finish it. My main problem with this is the staying power it comes off within a few hours of wearing it and it does tend to smudge. This is a problem for me because I do not have time to touch up my make-up during the day, my suggestion if you want something with staying power try a liquid liner - always works a treat for me :)

So I brought this product as a stepping stone to the makeup forever HD foundation but it was really not for me, despite the packaging being perfect allowing you to control how much you wanted the overall foundation wasn't very good. It was easy to apply really easy to blend but the sparkly specs in there was a huge put off. It also felt a little heavy on the skin where i really felt that I was wearing makeup, with the sparkles it didn't look very natural and it was a bit annoying because when i got home i noticed how many of my blushers had the same sparkly specs. Obviously i couldn't wear them with this foundation without looking like one of the twilight characters so i was quite limited. Also if your a sparkly eyeshadow kind of girl/guy the same problem may occur. Also the coverage wasn't really enough for me it was medium but i didn't want to build on it as i was already conscious about how my face looked. On the plus side it didn't emphasis my pores. But by the end of the day some of it had come off and in other places it was quite dry, despite using my face cream and a primer. In terms of pictures I really didn't see the difference, I still had the same effect as I did with my other foundations. Only purchase this foundation if your looking for medium coverage and don't mind the sparkly bits and don't have dry skin. I had brought the Natual Beige 005 which was a tad bit dark for me, normally 4 natural in bobbie brown and tawny in ester lauder match me perfect. Overall this foundation was not for me (but wasn't by far the worst), i shall try the makeup forever HD just to see if there is a significant different but I'm not expecting much as for now i shall trot back to my double wear.

I really wanted to love this product but it was just not for me, despite being recommended for dry skin I always looked patchy with this foundation, and by the end of the day i look ill and tired (completely not the look im going for). When its first applied it looks ok, but by the end of the day it looks as though its completely come off. Also I have sensitive skin and it did break me out but if you are eager to try the product out and cant get hold of a sample perhaps try the DUPE for this which is the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation just to see if you like the finish. Im shade Punjab in this which is perfect Im tawny in Estee lauder and 4 natural in bobbie brown

Liquid -Bobbi Brown - Moisture Rich foundation

I used this foundation for a few months as it was recommended for dry skin, the colour was spot on but it left my skin quite oily and by the end of the day my face looked 'dirty', its quite a thick formula but that didn't bother me to much, but it didn't have much staying power I would recommend the product if you were very dry skin but im more normal to dry. It may sit better with powder but i dont generally like to much product on my face. Saying that somedays the foundation would sit nicely and it does provide quite a good coverage but only work with a little . In the end i just would mix the foundation with others that were to light to neutralize it really and the packaging isn't ideal. so to summarise my 50/50 review Pros: good colour range, provides good coverage, the overall product lasts a long time, good for very dry skin Cons: packaging, leaves skin oily, does not blend well with other makeup products like my cream blush. I would definitely advise you to get a sample and try it out before steering completely clear of the foundation. And needless to say if your Oily Skin type STAY AWAY!! I wear number 4 natural and and I am pale natural in the concealer

Concealers -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer

I really love this product, I have quite dark circles and this covers it nicely without drying up or looking cakey. I have recently teamed it up with the Body Shops 'Aloe Eye Defence' and they make a superb combination. My under eyes are really dry as well as dark and would quite frankly 'drink' all of my concealer leaving it flaky and dry. Once i started using the body shop product my concealer sits nice and smooth. I rarely need to touch up throughout the day only really if im going out after work. I normally apply my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation first so i get coverage there as well and then after apply my concealer. It has lasted absolutely ages I apply literally 3-4 dots on each under eye and then blend with what would be cheaper alternative to a Mac 224 and i find it blends quite nicely. Although the product is high priced it really is worth it as it lasts for a very long time. I wear 09 Warm Medium and in the Double Wear Foundation I wear Tawny and I like a flawless dewy look which i do get with these.

So whilst I was in the search for the 'ultimate' foundation I was recommended this. At first I liked the coverage but it looked a bit cakey on my skin and clung to my dry patches by the end of the day (just to add) I was applying it with a Mac 190 brush. I then tried it with a Mac 107 Duo fibre brush and it made a huge difference for me I absolutely could not live with out it, I start at the bottom of my cheek and work my way around the face constantly blending as it dries fairly quickly but its not a problem, I definitely wouldn't recommend dotting it on your face and then blending if you work your way round it sits beautifully. I then spray Urban Decays "Dew Me" moisturising makeup setting spray (just a little and then use the same brush just to massage it in to my foundation) to ensure i get that dewy finish. I now cant live without this foundation. I just wish it came in a pump so i dont feel like im wasting the foundation, but even though its in a glass bottle i carry it around with me and it hasn't broken on me yet (fingers crossed). I know it can be a bit pricy but i only use a bit (on a daily basis) and it has lasted me about 3 months. I have normal/dry skin and my shade is Tawny EDIT - So I've had to reduce the rating slightly because i feel that this foundation has began to dry me out and oxidises horribly, saying this i have recently changed my face routine so if this is the cause of the dryness I will edit this review. In terms of colour i have left tawny (3W1) and made the large leap to Desert Beige (2N1) which is perfect. I suggest when buying this foundation to go a shade lighter because once it settles i find it does oxidise and and once you've added your blush/bronzer, contoured etc your face does appear even darker so the lighter shade in a sense balances it out. I still really do like the foundation it still gives me beautiful coverage but i think its really important to find the best way to prep your skin and trial and error with the colours. FYI im nc25/nw25 in Mac, im quite fair with slightly more yellow undertones, dark circles and redness on my nose and cheeks (i know this does not sound pretty but this foundation does cover this and evens out my skin tone which is most important to me)
