I'm 60 with hair that has been colored and highlighted for years. Natural texture is slightly wavy with coarse hair on the top where I went gray first. My hair in the front has that fragile, wispy, dry look. I used Dr. H hair lotion for the first time last night after shampooing and immediately saw a difference in the front. I followed the directions, applied directly to the scalp and massaged a bit. I applied some more to the ends. I let my hair air dry these days and typically the front dries immediately and has that rough cuticle look. After applying the lotion to my towel dried hair, the front looked softer and not dry or rough looking. Also the top seemed to spring up more which I liked. Its a very light weight lotion, did not leave my hair greasy. I have been using Dr. H Neem oil before shampooing and on my hair after it dries but it does look abit heavier so will cont. with the lotion after shampooing and will continue to use the Neem oil before shampooing leaving it on overnight. Right now I only leave it all for maybe an hour before shampooing.
I'm 59, with a dry, sore, tight scalp from years of hair coloring. Hair loss since my mid 30's (I'm sure from decline in estrogen). This product is wonderful. I use it after shampooing and towel drying. And then massaged into my scalp when my scalp feels tight and sore. It has made all the difference in the world to my scalp and hair. I've only been using it for about 2 months so I think I'm only seeing the results with my hair as a styling product. I don't think it's actually helping my hair yet, it just looks that way. I really think with time it can reverse the aging process. My hair feels softer, has shine doesn't look dry and frazzled. It sinks in, is light. doesn't have a heavy, sticky feel. My scalp is feeling better but I'm sure that will take a while to completely reverse.
