Styling Products -Sexy Hair Concepts - Big Sexy Hair - Spray and Play Hairspray

Sooo much better than Elnett, which smells like ass. This spray smells fresh and is not overpowering at all. Yea, it's expensive but very worth it. I also spray it on my hair before using a curling iron and it works brilliantly. The best part: this spray, if used in conjunction with the BSH powder, holds my fine thick hair like nothing else. I finally found the best combination for giving my hair body...it only took thirty or more years of searching and trying products. LOL.
Why does this product proclaim to be unscented when it is not only highly scented but smells like shit? I can smell it in my hair all day, and if I can smell it, others can, too. I was actually embarrassed today at work bc I thought I was leaving a trail of cheap, chemical scent every where I went. I normally don't complain much about scent but I completely hate the smell of this "unscented" product. Too bad, because it really does give volume and hold to my fine, thick hair. I am going to try Big, Sexy Hair's hairspray as it sounds as if it at least has a tolerable scent.
Styling Products -Sexy Hair Concepts - Powder Play

I used the Aveda equivalent for a while but never liked it that much; plus, it was incredibly expensive. This hair powder is MUCH better. I use this product every day after using a curling iron on my hair, and it gives my fine hair volume all day. It's a little expensive but I've decided it's worth every penny; plus, they carry it in my neighborhood grocery store, so I don't have to search all over town for it.
Took a while but this scent finally grew on me. It blends very well with my skin and smells feminine, sophisticated, and not at all artificial. However, it does not last long at all (one hour max) and I will not be repurchasing.
Stupidest lipstick on the entire planet. Once again, Revlon produces a piece of sh*t.
Eyes -Unlisted Brand - Careprost~Generic Brand Latisse

This product works. After losing lashes due to hypothyroidism, I now have them again. They are not as thick as I would like but they are long and look great with a bit of mascara (before my lashes were so nonexistent that I didn't even use mascara...). I have been using this product for about 2 months and will continue but I am being very careful with it--it is not a product to use carelessly at all. So far, no issues with eye color changing but, as I said, I am being VERY careful. $10/bottle at alldaychemist.com.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Full Potential Lips in Mimosa Blossom
Sammy311 4/21/2010 9:53:00 PM
Such a pretty gloss! Just the right amount of pigment. Goes very well with my pale skin and light hair and eyes. I use it to top off my peachy-pink lipsticks. One of the prettiest glosses ever; ranks right up there along with Nars's Sweet Dreams.
Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Velvet eyeshadow- Leggy
Sammy311 12/3/2009 8:38:00 PM
Leggy is an utterly beautiful, shimmery, champagne pink eyeshadow. I bought it because I was having trouble finding a replacement for my Bare Escentuals Blush shadow. I am very happy with this gorgeous eyeshadow. It is very finely milled and lasts forever if you wear a good base with it.
Lip Gloss -MAC - Cremesheen Glass in Partial to Pink
Sammy311 5/12/2009 5:48:00 PM
Beautiful color but it feels as if I am spreading pink water on my lips. Color payoff is poor and the consistency is runny (like, ah, water). Compared to the Clinique Mimosa gloss I just bought, this sucks and blows at the same time.
Eyeliner -Bobbi Brown - Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Bronze Shimmer

Pretty color but it smudges. Excellent with green eyes. Staying power is fairly poor.
Blush -MAC - Mineralize Blush Duo - Love Rock (Grand Duos Coll.)
Sammy311 4/23/2009 3:14:00 AM
I have no idea why this blush is so popular. It is by far the FROSTIEST blush I have ever seen, and it is bright pink to boot. It is so frosty and pink that it is utterly ridiculous, like something Tammy Faye Bakker (bless her little white trash heart) would have worn.
Lipstick -MAC - Blow Dry (Blonde Brunette Redhead)

Beautiful color but it is far too bright for my PPP complexion. I am sending it back.
Highlighters -Stila - All Over Glow in Pretty Pink
Sammy311 4/3/2009 10:46:00 PM
I love this product. It is an extremely close dupe to Benefit's Dandelion, only with better packaging. It is best for pale girls, though. Bought it cheap through beautycrunch.
Lipstick -BeneFit Cosmetics - Silky-Finish Lipstick in Jing a ling
Sammy311 3/23/2009 11:11:00 AM
I like everything about this lipstick except the price. It is a beautiful, sophisticated, light to medium, slightly warm pink with subtle shimmer. The packaging is great, too--very clean and streamlined. The price is over the top, though, but this lipstick should last a while so I don't regret buying it at all, especially since the color is so gorgeous.
I have this in Peach Plump, which is a pinky-peach--more pink, though, than peach. It is an absolutely wonderful formula, creamy and fairly long wearing. I have never used a Maybelline lipstick before because I always thought they looked so cheap and because I hate Maybelline packaging, but this one is amazing. It is the one I reach for all the time now. And yes, I will be trying other colors in this line.
