Considering I'm rather young and have very oily, acre-prone skin, it's not usually easy to find a foundation I like. This one, though, is truly perfect for someone who wants a long-lasting foundation with full coverage. It actually stays ALL day (at least 12 hours) without melting, fading, oiling up, or leaving residue on other people's clothes (gross, I know). Plus, it's a good price. I use the Combination-Oily variety and it's wonderful, but it takes some getting used to. I had some trouble with it at first because the foundation dries so quickly and I had a bad brush. While I, of course, recommend this product overall, I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner.

Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover

Let me begin by saying that I love this eye makeup remover and was pleasantly surprised when I first used it! Usually eye makeup removers have one of three negative consequences for me (or a combination of them). They either a) feel overly oily on my lids b) irritate my eyes (I wear contacts, as well) or c) simply will not remove all the makeup, especially waterproof mascara. This Clinique eye makeup remover does none of this... for once! Not only does it remove waterproof mascara amazingly without rubbing your eyes, but it also eaves your eyelids feeling very rejuvenated. The major drawback is the price at $18 US.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous in Carbon Black

I wish I could say that I love this product because I had really high hopes for it! Many people I've talked to say it gives them very dramatic, dark lashes and I fully agree on this one fact. When I first applied this mascara, my lashes looked full and long (but, I already have good lashes to begin with). The problem was that, even though I used the waterproof variety, I had incredibly noticeable smudges under my eyes within an hour (honestly!). Maybe this only happens to people who have oily skin like me, but I thought it was a little ridiculous. Plus, it's really hard to remove and can irritate your eyes (it did mine). I definitely won't be repurchasing L'Oreal Voluminous, unfortunately.
