I used vinyl lip years ago and found it to be too tacky for me. After reading all of the positive reviews here I thought I would give it another try...happy decision! This is great- great color, great consistancy (not sticky at all), lasts as long as all glosses (about an hour without eating). I've already impressed a couple of friends to buy it because they liked it so much on me!

I have been using this as my primary undereye concealer for about a year and must say that this is the best concealer I have found. I have very dry and sensitive skin, and this has been a good choice. It covers well, lasts all day and I've never had a problem with driness as I do with most other concealers. Plus, it doesn't irritate my eyes. I gave it a four rather than a five in the rating because I still feel that there is slight room for improvement-maybe looking for miracles (puff-reducer included??)? Overall, it's my fave.

Mascara -Maybelline - great lash curved brush

I have been using this mascara for years and I have found it to be the best! I will occasionally stray and try a new variety when it's time to toss my old container...but nothing beats this stuff! There are no clumps, and you can put on a couple of coats while maintaining all of your distinct lashes. This is so natural looking- I can't tell you how many women have asked me to share my mascara secret with them because they love the way it looks. I always curl my lashes with an eyelash curler first, of course; the curved brush helps follow the curve of the lash and easily covers both sides of the lashes without mess. Plus, I have sensitive eyes (with contacts) and this never irritates my eyes or requires eye makeup remover (which clogs my tear ducts).

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Tinted Mineral Veil

I love tinted mineral veil! I have very fair skin and this gives my face/neck/chest a bit of color. Particularly in the summer this is great. Although my skin is really dry this does not sit heavily or dry my face out further. The main ingredient is corn starch which I used as a setting powder prior to discovering BE. I highly recommend this stuff! My trick to solve the messiness problem: put a cotton pad or ball (depending on the size of the BE container) into the can before putting on the lid. Keeps it nice and neat!

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Beeswax Lip Balm

This is one of my desert island must-haves! I have a tube in every room of my house, in every purse and there is a special holder just for it in my car. After years of suffering from horribly chapped lips every winter, this lip balm revolutionized my life. Although I don't know how it works scientifically, it repairs any driness I get and keeps my lips smooth. The peppermint adds a beautiful kick (feels like my lips are slightly puffed and my breath is well-screened on its way out.) My favorite time to use this is just after brushing my teeth: I do an extra scrub across my lips with the toothbrush and throw on my lip balm...awesome!
