Eye Shadow -MAC - Expensive Pink (Veluxe Pearl)
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 4/16/2012 6:25:00 AM

I got this shadow a couple of years ago and I have never really touched it until now as I was afraid it would look really orange and unflattering on me as I am very pale but have warm/neutral undertones (NC15, maybe a bit lighter). However I am on a mission to start wearing brighter colours instead of neutrals and browns all the time as I have so many pretty colours I never use. I decided to try this out today and I am so glad I did! I wore it all over the lid with Wedge as transition colour, Blanc Type as browbone highlight, Espresso in the outer v, crease and lower lashline with Urban Decay's Sin in the inner corner and lined my eyes with black liner. It is such a lovely colour that really makes my green eyes stand out. On me it is a corral, pinkish gold. It has a very nice smooth texture as it is a Veluxe Pearl and great pigmentation. Definitely one of MAC's better eyeshadows. I don't think it would be very flattering on really cool skintones though. Now that I've tried it out im definitely going to be wearing this a lot more over the spring and summer and whenever I run out I will definitely repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 4/7/2012 10:03:00 AM

I have had my palette for about 2 years now and have only just hit pan on Virgin and Naked. It definetly has become one of my most used palettes. It has a great selection of neutral colours though this one does lean more on the warm side. Virgin - A nice shimmery off white highlight colour. Looks lovely in the inner corners, as a brow highlight and all over the lid. MAC's Shroom is very similar. Sin - A shimmer champange pink. Like Virgin it makes a lovely inner corner highlight when used with Toasted all over the lid. Also great all over the lid for a nice bright eyed look. I would say its too pink for me to use as a brow highlight but it could work for other people. Its very similar to MAC's Naked Lunch but much more pigmented. Other similar colours would be Silk Teddy from the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette. Naked - A great light tan matte colour. I use this everyday along with Buck for my eyebrows. It also looks nice in the crease and also a great transition colour when your blending. MAC's Wedge is similar though Naked is far more pigmented and a much nicer texture. Sidecar - This is a nice glittery beigy taupe. I love this all over the lid though you have to careful of the fallout from the glitter. I find patting it on with a flat shadow brush works much better than swiping it on. Urban Decays Midnight Rodeo is very similar to this. Buck - A darker tan matte colour. This is great in the crease. Its just a bit darker than Naked. Half Baked - A warm gold. Looks lovely all over the lid with Smog or Darkhorse in the crease. I have trouble wearing this one as I am very pale and most colours like this show up a bit orange on me. Its similar to MAC's Woodwinked which also shows up too warm on me. Smog - A nice bronzey brown. This is a really nice crease colour which looks like with just about any colour. It also looks nice all over the lid for a smokey look. MAC's Mulch is similar as well as Urban Decay Deeper. Darkhorse - A dark shimmery cool brown. Looks great in the crease or as liner. Urban Decay's M.I.A is very similar. Toasted - This is a nice plumish brown. I love wearing it all over lid with Hustle in the crease. MAC's Sable is similar. Hustle - A dark reddish plum/brown colour. I like wearing this in the crease with Sin or Toasted. Urban Decay's Busted is very similar. Creep - A black with blue/green shimmer. Great as liner or in the outer v to darken up a look. Gunmetal - A dark shimmery grey colour. Great with Creep for a dark smokey look. I heard MAC's Knight Divine is close but I don't own that so im not sure. The colours are all very soft and pigmented with a mixture of shimmer/glitter and matte colours. My favourite shades in this palette would have to be Virgin, Sin, Naked, Toasted, Smog and Sidecar. I got the double ended 24/7 eyeliner with my palette which both are great and go on nicely. This is a great palette to have and also good value for what you get. I would defnitely recommend and repurchase.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 4/7/2012 9:17:00 AM

I love this lip butter and its quickly become one of my favourite lip colours to wear on a daily basis. It looks like a brown/beige in the tube but it turns out to be a perfect everyday nude colour. I've been on what seems to be a never ending search to find a product that gives me the perfect nude lip as my lips are very pigmented (as in red!) so as you can imagine, not very many lipsticks and glosses show up on me, they just look clear without a layer of foundation over the top of my lips. I bought MAC Myth lipstick thinking it would do the trick, it shows up but it looks horrible on me and gives that concealer lip look which I don't want. Creme Brule however is perfect and very pigmented and is what I have been looking for all along. I love these lip butters so much that I now have nearly all of the 14 shades available in the UK. The lip butters are all very moisturising and also very pigmented and I would definitely recommend them and also purchase again.

Polishes -OPI - Tickle my France-y
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 9/30/2011 7:29:00 AM

This a very nice neutral colour which makes your nails look very polished. I would describe this as a dusty rose colour. It looks very nice on the nails. I also like to use this with OPI Teenage Dream layered over this on my ring fingers to add a bit of sparkle. It goes very nicely with it. I would definetly buy this again.

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush Peachy Keen
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 9/30/2011 7:24:00 AM

This has become one of my favourite blushes! Its a lovely, slightly shimmering peach colour. It is very pigmented but not so much that it looks orange or anything and goes on lovely. Its a very natural colour if you fancy a change from pinky/mauve coloured blushes. It suits my very fair skin really well. Also for the price of it, you can't beat it, also love the packaging which is very similar to NARS. I would definitely get this again.

Lip Gloss -Unlisted Brand - Accessorize Diamond Sparkle Lipgloss in Temptation
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 9/29/2011 9:32:00 AM

I have only recently discovered this brand, Accessorize and I am so glad I did. The lipgloss is one of my favourite products from them and definitely worth a try. If you live in the UK you can get it online from accessorize.com or Superdrug online or in store and I think in some Accessorize stores too though im not sure. It costs £4 which I think is very good. Temptation is a beautiful light, beigey pink gloss with tons of sparkle through it. It is a very glitterly gloss so if you don't like glitter and sparkle in your glosses this will probably not be for you. It feels very nice on the lips and not gritty like some can be and lasts for a reasonable amount of time before it wears off. It has become one of my favourite glosses and that says a lot as I have a ton. I use this nearly everyday. When it starts to wear off it does leave glitter on your lips but that can easily be removed or just reapply. I will definitely repurchase in the future.

Polishes -OPI - Teenage Dream (Katy Perry)
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 9/29/2011 9:22:00 AM

This has to be one of my favourite nail polishes ever. It is such a beautiful polish. It is a pretty sheer pink base packed with lots of silver and holographic glitter. It takes about 3 coats to make it opaque though. Even so it is such a gergeous polish and when I have it on my nails I can't stop looking at them. They just sparkle and is especially pretty when it catches the light. I would definitely buy this again once I run out.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Kabuki Face Brush
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 9/2/2011 5:04:00 PM

This is a really lovely kabuki brush. It blends out colour nicely and is very soft. I haven't experienced any shedding either. I think it works just as well as my Sigma 182 kabuki which is a lot more expensive.

Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Studio 2 in 1 Conditioning Gloss (all colors)
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 9/2/2011 5:02:00 PM

This has fast become one of my favourite lipglosses. I have this is Perfect Pink, Plumtastic, Love it, Va Va Voom and Fanatic. The colours are all lovely and the gloss is actually very moisturising on my lips. It is a little bit on the thick side but it stays on a good while because of this. I also love the packaging on these though I think E.L.F has changed the formula as instead of the coloured gloss in the middle and the clear on either side as I have with Perfect Pink and Fanatic, the newest ones I have got (Love It and Va Va Voom) are not like this. Instead of the clear gloss it is now an all coloured gloss. I don't mind either way as they are really nice and the price is great!

Mascara -Revlon - Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara
rated 4 of 5
SadAng3l 8/10/2011 6:03:00 AM

I love this mascara, its one of my new favourites. It gives really great volume and just makes my lashes look really nice, long and seperated. I already have long lashes to begin with though. The only thing that I don't like about this mascara is that it smudges really bad. I've never really had this problem before with any other mascara which is a shame because this is a really great mascara. Im not sure if I would repurchase this because of that reason.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lustreglass - Spring Bean
rated 1 of 5
SadAng3l 5/26/2011 5:49:00 AM

I bought this after I emailed a MAC artist if she could recommend me a lipgloss that would actually show up on my lips. My lips are very, very pigmented even though I have very pale skin, they are very red. She told me that this lipgloss would neutralise my lips and make them a lovely honey colour. Hmm, I received the gloss yesterday and needless to say it just looks like a clear, shiny gloss, my lips look the same but shiny. Im very disappointed because if I wanted a clear gloss I could have got one for much cheaper rather than £12.50.

Lip Gloss -MAC - underage lipglass
rated 4 of 5
SadAng3l 5/19/2011 5:18:00 AM

This is one of my favourite lipglosses. Its a lovely milky pink nude colour. I have very red pigmented lips so I find it very hard to find lipglosses and lipsticks that actually show up their true colour on me instead of just looking like shimmer on top of my lips or a shine. It mutes the colour of my lips and gives a nice milky pink nude look to them. The only thing I don't like about MAC lipglasses is the stickiness to them. I suppose it helps them stay on longer but its very annoying when your out and about and your hair gets stuck on your lips. Overall a great lipgloss to go with many looks.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Grain
rated 5 of 5
SadAng3l 5/17/2011 5:01:00 PM

I was looking for ages for the perfect my lids but better colour for me and so far didn't really have any luck. Finally I found this colour and I love it. It was just what I was looking for. It is a lovely natural peachy, shimmery colour which gives a nice sheen to your lids. It also works great in the inner corner too. I couldn't use it as a highlight as im very pale but this would work great as a highlight for darker skintones as well. It has a lovely texture, is nicely pigmented and goes on very smooth. I would definitely repurchase whenever I run out.
