Bronzers -Tarte - Park Avenue Princess
STlCKY 1/12/2013 2:02:00 AM
Bought the mini size along with Dollface and I really like Park Ave Princess. Initial swatches on my hand showed that it wasn't very pigmented and that I really had to rub back and forth to get the warm bronze shimmer to show up. But when applied on my medium-tan skin, it gives a subtle bronze that looks very glowy and not overly shimmery. Definitely can't use it to contour, but it looks nice as a highlight on my cheekbones and temples.

Blush -Milani - Minerals Blush - Sweet Rose
STlCKY 11/8/2012 3:52:00 PM
Love this shade! Received it as a present and at first I didn't think I was going to like it because it looked dark in the pan, but it looked really nice on the face. The only downside is that the product isn't very soft and pigmented, so I have to really dig my blush brush in to get some product. I wasn't a fan of the packaging, seeing as how the mirror is on the flipside and I didn't care for the dinky little brush.

Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Lip Liner & Blending Brush
STlCKY 10/22/2012 3:28:00 AM
Ok, to be honest, I totally bought this just for the brush. The lip liner was an added bonus, but I wasn't too thrilled since the color on the box was brown an I wasn't too sure about a brown lip liner. The color's called Natural and it being pink was a nice surprise! It's kinda dry and tugs at the lips, but I don't often use lipliner, so I might just not be used to it. The lip liner itself seems very fragile. I've broken some of the ELF retractable eyeliners in the past and was afraid for it to happen to this product. The brush is great, although a few hairs are coming off with 1 wash. Overall, I would buy again!

Eyes -E.L.F. - Under Eye Concealer & Highlighter
STlCKY 10/22/2012 3:24:00 AM
For $3, it wasn't a bad purchase. But I definitely wouldn't buy it again. The shade is Light/Glow. The concealer accentuates my dark circles! What the hell. After setting it with a powder foundation, it doesn't look as bad, but it's definitely a shit undereye concealer. The highlighter part looked nice in the packaging, but when swatched, there is some legit glittery sparkle stuff going on. Tried using it down the nose, cheekbones and browbone, but I might have put too much because I looked like I was a Twilight vamp. The highlighter part is salvageable, but I don't think I'll be using this product very often.

Bronzers -E.L.F. - Studio Golden Bronzer
STlCKY 9/13/2012 3:07:00 PM
Didn't show up as a dark enough bronzer for my medium tan skin tone and the colors aren't pigmented enough to show up noticeably different than each other when used separately. However, swirled all together makes a wonderful golden highlight! The top left hand corner shade makes a great bronzey-gold eyeshadow in a pitch as well.

Powder -Unlisted Brand - Geek Chic Cosmetics - Foundation
STlCKY 9/8/2012 8:13:00 PM
Bought a $1 sample of Lana, the foundation for tan skin, and it was alright. I liked how light it felt on my tan skin, although the color itself was more cool toned and pink than my warm toned skin. I'm also not a big fan of the sample containers, since they're tiny clamshell containers that are hard to open and close, so you have to open or close it really carefully without losing any product.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Moisture Extreme - Royal Red [DISCONTINUED]
STlCKY 8/26/2012 6:31:00 PM
Wow! Found this on sale for $2 at Big Lots and I've been trying out red lipds, so I figured for the price, if it failed then it wouldn't be too bad. but this is far from failure! The texture actually feels like a Revlon Lip Butter, because of how buttery soft it glides across the lips. The only downside is that because it's really slippery, I would need to layer a lip liner underneath for maximum staying power. But I love love love the way it feels and it looks great on my warm medium-tan skintone! And it DOES smell like a watermelon jolly rancher!

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Lockdown Cream Shadow - Bedroom Eyes
STlCKY 8/25/2012 9:50:00 PM
Found this at my Nordstrom Rack a year ago and this product is amazing! I have oily lids, so I HAVE to use a primer under eyeshadow, unless I want them to end up being a streaky, creasing mess. I love that this product has primer already it in, so it makes it super easy to swipe it on my lids for a fast, quick, easy everyday look. The color is neutral, so if I'm in a hurry and I apply it, it won't clash with my outfit, but it does have glitter so I guess it's not really 'nude' in that sense. Without primer underneath or eyeshadow on top, this product lasts all day! I would definitely purchase it again.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle
STlCKY 8/11/2012 8:14:00 PM
This lip product is my go-to 'professional' lipstick. Love the darker, mauve color and it looks great on my medium-tan skin. The feeling is very slippery, so I have to reapply often. Still, it's very moisturizing and I LOVE the color.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Stain Balm- Sweetheart
STlCKY 8/11/2012 8:13:00 PM
Wow. First balm stain I tried and damn is the pigmentation great. Very intimidating. I don't wear it often though because I don't think I can pull off the bright pink that Sweetheart is. I was aiming for something lighter, but Sweetheart is still a great product so I gave it 5 lippies. Twist up packaging is good, no wasted product and there's a slight mint taste/smell that makes your lips a little bit tingly. I wouldn't buy it again, just because it's too bright for me, but it's a great product!

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Rendezvous

Love love love the balm stain products and Rendezvous is no exception! The coral color is amazing, although a bit intimidating. I also like the mint scent/slight tingly feel of these products. Would definitely buy again.

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain- Cherish
STlCKY 8/11/2012 8:08:00 PM
Received this color in a gift exchange and wasn't sure if I was going to lilke it because the color on the packaging seemed very cool toned and experience shows me that cool toned pinks made me look sick. But was I mistaken! This color was exactly what I wanted Sweetheart to look like, a medium pink. Maybe it was just because of my naturally dark pigmented lips, but still, I love Cherish! The packaging is great too, twist up so you don't waste product sharpening it. Would definitely buy again. I guess you could say I CHERISH the product! I'll show myself out.

Love the antique gold color. Kinda leans more taupe/brown on me than other reviewers have described, but I love it! Great for everyday or a dramatic look. Would definitely buy again.

Brows -E.L.F. - Eyebrow Lifter & Filler
STlCKY 8/1/2012 10:45:00 PM
I usually fill in my brows with the ELF eyebrow kit, the one with the cream and the powder. I wanted to try a pencil form, so I bought the ELF eyebrow lifter and filler and I really really like it! The filler side is really soft, which I like and makes it easy to blending out harsh edges. The lifter side is light, but natural, which I can easily swipe on the browbone and blend. The only thing is that the lifter side is not as creamy as the filler side, so it is a bit harder to blend out. I bought the product in the shade Medium, but it looks more red and auburn when I apply it. Nothing that can't be solved with some darker powder over it though. However, next time I buy the product, I'm going to try a shade darker.

Polishes -China Glaze - life preserver
STlCKY 7/30/2012 9:40:00 PM
Bought it because I liked the muted, terra cotta-like orange. Turned out way brighter than I thought. One coat showed the nail line but was still pretty bright. Fun for summer, but I don't think warm bright colors look good on me.
