I have to admit, the name "Baby Lips" is what drew me to this product (how cute right?) But anyways, i love this balm! I have always been a lip balm girl. No glosses, no lipstick, no color. I got this in the "pink punch" thinking it would be sheer. But to my surprise it is really pretty bright pink. For me to go from never wearing lip color to this bright pink is a leap, so me raving about this color says alot. Other than the color the balm itself is great. VERY soft and smooth and feels great on the lips. My only con with this is the shape of the balm. It's rounded so it makes applying to the inner corners (for the Baby Lips that have color) difficult, it gets on the skin around the mouth easy. If it had a pointed tip i would enjoy that more. But for all the positives i can overlook that. If you are a girl who has never tried color before and sticks to lip balm this is a great way to venture in the world of lip color, it really is the best of both worlds. I love these and plan on buying more!
I gotta be honest, i used to be SUCH a make-up snob. I would never buy or use drugstore products and i went BROKE buying MAC and Sigma brushes. But, as i have gotten further into college and had to pay more and more bills i have had no choice to cut my make-up budget, however i couldnt be more glad i did!! ELF seriously is an awesome brand! I have tried MAC, Estee Lauder, Benefit, Chanel, MUFE and many more and alot of ELF prodcuts can stand up (not kidding) This brush is a great example. I paid around $40 for a MAC eyeshadow brush that is identical in feel and texture as this and works just the same. I turn to this brush everyday. I wash my brushes often also and nothing is loose and the bristles are still holding shape. Please ladies, SAVE YOUR MONEY! These are good brushes.
I bought this as a part of a huge ELF haul i ordered online, and out of the about 30 products i got this is one of my tops. When i saw this the first thing that came to my mind was how pretty this will be around the holidays! The eyeliner itself isnt "copper", it is a clear liner with copper glitter. The website does not say that but i am still happy with it. The brush in this liner is different from the other ELF liquid eyeliners. The others are a soft felt and this one is more stiff and hard, so "sweeping" the eyeliner across the lid won't happen. I have found you almost have to "'press" the glitter to the lid.
Cleansers -Clearasil - Clearasil Ultra Deep Pore Cleansing Pads
SMG1991 10/11/2011 3:26:00 PM
Never in a million years would i look at this product and think i would love them THIS much, but i really do! I decided to stay at my boyfriends house and didn't have any face wash with me and i found these in his bathroom so i used them, not really expecting much. But i was so surprised at how much i loved these little pads. It felt good on my skin, took off my make-up and just left me feeling clean. The best part was the next morning a zit i had was gone! Thats all it took for me, so i went out and bought my own. Now i use these twice a day (after cleansing and before moisturizering) day and night. It keeps my face clear more than any product i've ever tried. Definitely go buy some:)
It's not often i say this, but i hate this product. The brush is SO flimsey! It feels like at any moment the brush head could just fall off. I can't stand this mascara and like i said it's not often i dislike a product alot. I also get alot of clumps with this formula and since the brush is so loose i can't brush them out like with other mascaras. Just overall a bad mascara for me.
Eye Shadow -Coastal Scents - 88 colors warm palette
SMG1991 9/28/2011 9:58:00 PM
Okay for the most part, im in love with this palette! Let me start with the positives. You are getting 88 shadows for $25! BUT in my case i caught a sale and only paid $16:) But either way that is an awesome value. And for the most part the color selection is so pretty. For me the warm colors are so much better than the original palette, more useful for everyday. Here comes the negative: Overall the colors are great BUT there are some colors that don't come out as the shade in the pan. For example, i did a mossy green eye today but everybody assumed it was a grey smokey because thats how it looked, A few days ago i did a plum eye that came out looking brown, So the colors may look like a color in the palette but once on the skin it's a different story. That is a bit frustrating. It's only like that with a select few while most come out just they way you would expect. That is my only con to this palette so i still think it is very much worth buying! Conclusion: from just a starter in make-up or to a woman advanced in make-up this is a great palette to have. It has awesome colors and you can get countless looks from just one palette. Definitely recommended.
This really isn't a bad primer. I bought it with not really high hopes, but it surprised me. It kept my eyeshadow from creasing (most of the day, by night it was starting to let up) my shadow looked bright and it evened out my eyelid tone. It isn't as good as Urban Decay or Benefit but still for $1, it works pretty darn well. The formula is a little more watery than i would prefer, i feel the thicker creams work best, but again for $1 the performance is good. Conclusion: I recommend to have in your collection as a back-up or to use on days where you are not wearing a full eye, that way your more expensive primers last longer and you don't have to shell out $25 as often. OR if you are just starting out with make-up or in general don't wear much eye make-up this is perfect.
It took me a while to know if i liked or disliked this prodcut or not but i finally decided that overall it is a good moisturizer. I have a light skin tone and i was disapppointed that after a few days of once-a-day use i couldn't notice any color change, so i started applying twice a day like the bottle suggest. I finally developed some color but it was very dark compared to my neck. So i have worked out a routine that works well for me. I apply twice a day every other day and down my neck. You HAVE to apply down the neck or there will be a difference that you will not like. I now have a nice tan to my face which im loving because im losing my tan from summer and was not looking foward to the pale color i usually develope in the fall/winter. I will continue to use this to maintain this color. It does not have a strong self-tanner smell and moisturizers well. I recommend for those who want to maintain a certain amount of color going into the colder months.
Overall i really really love this mascara. The only downfall i feel is that in the first week or two of use there is just too much mascara on the brush, but as you use it more and the formula thickens it gets to be PERFECT. The brush is pretty basic but works awesome! It seperates (no clumsps at all) and adds miles of length. I can see why i've heard alot of hype about this mascara.
YES YES AND YES!! I am beyond obsessed with blush so this palette is my dream come true! It is priced for $16 but i caught a sale and got it for only $12. Looking at the palette on the internet i thought there were going to be two or three colors i wouldn't be able to use but seeing it in person and trying it out i found all the colors can work, yay! I have fair skin and even the blushes that are bright can look natural if you use a light touch. Speaking of colors, the selection is amazing! You have peach tones, baby pinks, dark pinks, mauves, tans, corals. Right now i really am loving the the first color on the top row, the mauve pink..AWESOME for fall. I really cannot find a thing wrong with this product to be honest, not a thing. If you are a blush lover you NEED this palette in your collection and if you are just starting out on blush this is also a must have to discover what colors you like and how to apply. Definitely recommended!!!
Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer

Out of all the self-tanners i have tried, this is the only one i like. It gives color pretty fast, it's not orange or streaky and it's so so easy to use (with alot of self-tanners im very easy with applying and trying to be perfect, but with this i can just apply to skin with no worries of streaking) My only problem with this is the color fades very fast. I used for about two weeks and then went out of town for the weekend and forgot this at home. By the time i was back all the color i built up was pratically gone so i just wish it was a longer lasting formula. But even with that this will be my regular lotion and self-tanner. If you are on the fence just give it a try because i don't feel you will be disapointed. Just be sure to wash your nails and hands well! It can make your nails look orange and dirty.
When it comes to face cleansers, im not easy to impress. But i LOVE this wash! I have noticed a huge difference with my pores and blackheads on my nose. It has a very fresh and clean smell, it exfoliates but not too harsh and i love the pump design. It's a good cleanser if you are looking for just a gentle clean and clearer pores. EDIT: when i first made this review i had only used for a few days and after using this wash more i am more impressed! My skin is so clear and even and even has a glow. My pores on my nose have definitely improved and my blackheads are practically gone. I had a coupon for Olay and went out and stocked up on two more, i never want to be without this cleanser.
Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
SMG1991 9/26/2011 9:06:00 AM
I have been a tinted moisturizer user only and this product was the first time i've tried a full on foundation, and i have to say im SO glad i picked this up! I have stayed away from foundation because im scared to look cakey or have it not blend well and i had none of those problems with this. It is very smooth, blends perfectly into the skin and it really does last and last and last! When i take it off at the end of the day it looks lke i just applied it. I was at an all day football tournament yesterday and it was very hot and this held up awesome. The only reason i gave this a 4 rather than a 5 is because of the shade selection. I have the ivory 100 and i could stand to go a shade lighter but this is the lightest they have, as i get into the fall/winter months i don't know if i'll be able to continue to wear this color.
My all time favorite scent! I first got this as i gift i believe when i was 14 or 15 and six years later im still coming back to it. This past Christmas my boyfriend got me the full out set! Full sized lotion, body wash, dusting powder, rollerball and of course perfume. I really couldnt be happier with it. It is an awesome scent, has staying power, packaging is adorable plus i think it can be worn by alot of different ages. Im 21 and my mom is 50 and she sometimes uses this. I feel the scent could stand to last a bit longer but thats why i feel having the rollerball of this is important, i spray from my bottle in the morning and then mid-day i roll on some more. The rollerball is only $15 a Sephora or any department store and i definitely recommend having that.
I think i really wanted to love this mascara becuase the packaging is SO cute! I love the gold tube, but this mascara just isn't that great. The brush is awesome, seperated well, added length. The bad thing is the formula, SO FLAKEY! I was about two hours into my day and i had black down my cheeks :( Very disappointing because i love the packaging and brush and have heard so much hype about this, the formula just isn't there for me.
