Liked it at first, but became very sickening and overpowering. ICK.

I love this! Although I have few wrinkles, this product has softened the ones I do have, and made the skin on my neck and face look much more even-toned and glowy. I love this! And the ingredient list is so natural....no ingredients that leave you wondering what the heck you are putting on your face. I also think this has helped with my acne scars and acne in general. Awesome! Highly recommend! Update: took off several lippies--my skin just could not tolerate, and breakouts became severe.

I would use this, but I am so sensitive due to retin-A use. I did like this during the summer when my skin was more hardy. Would recommend to those who are not senstive. Edit: This stuff is terribly harsh and irritating over time.

Ew...sticky and irritating.
Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Devita Daily Solar Protective Moisturizer spf 30
SLS2000 1/14/2008 2:18:00 PM
Great sunscreen, though I;m unsure about a few of the ingredients. This does not break out my skin or cause irritation on my sensitive skin. Would recommend as a good physical sunscreen. I cannot tolerate chemical sunscreens, so this one works well for me. Highly recommend! Edit: Who knows about the efficacy of this? It says 30, not SPF 30. Also, very rich and started to clog pores and make me breakout. USe it only on my hands now.

Great product! Very soothing to my sensitive, acne prone skin. I have used Devita pretty much exclusively for a while now, but I do use Mychelle's acne serum in the a.m. I really love all of the Devita products, they are gentle, effective, and for the more part, have ingredient lists that do not look chemical-ridden (though the sunscreens and several other products do have some ingredients I am not all that excited using). All in all, I think these products are better than a lot of the "natural" products that are anything but. Edit: Works o.k. for neck use only. This whole line became too irritating and breakout inducing after awhile.
Hair -Aubrey Organics - White Cameliia & Jasmine Shine Conditioner Spray
SLS2000 9/6/2007 2:17:00 AM
I am surprised by the comments on this one! I have used this as a styling aid and refresher for awhile now, and it leaves my hair healthy, shiny, and full of body. Love that it contains no cones, which irritate my skin. Makes my hair smell heavenly also. No breakouts along hairline while using this. I also use the hairspray, and I love it! Highly recommend.
What a conditioner! I love it! My hair is so shiny, soft, and full of body when using this! I will buy over and over again.... I have had so many comments on my hair lately, and I give all the credit to this and the GPB shampoo. Very gentle, smells great, and works well. Performs better than the d/s and salon brands I have used. Plus, no parabens, cones or other irritating ingredients. I have had NO hairline breakouts since using this line, and that is usually a common occurence for me! HG
Shampoo -Aubrey Organics - GPB-Glycogen Protein Balancing Shampoo

I love this shampoo! It leaves my hair soft, shiny and manageable. I use this with the GPB conditioner, and my hair is in great shape. I break out from SLSs and other ingredients, but with this shampoo, I have had no breakouts along my hairline, which is where I usually get them. Will repurchase again and again.

Liked at first, then it built up on my hair.
Moisturizers -Good Skin - All Bright Moisturizing sunscreen SPF 30
SLS2000 8/11/2007 6:25:00 PM
Seemed like such a good sunscreen, but it was very irritating and drying--and I am combo/oily and acne-prone. Did like it for my neck, because it made my skin so soft, but on my face, it was torture. To be fair, I think my adverse reults are likely due to my use of RAM for acne. I do think this would be a nice, smoothing sunscreen if I weren't so damn sensitive right now. On to something else...
Powder -Merle Norman - Luxiva Purely Mineral Makeup
SLS2000 7/30/2007 11:12:00 PM
This is a great mineral makeup with so few ingredients. I have found that it makes my skin look flawless, luminous and incredible without the large-pored, greasy look that I had with other MMU (I've tried MANY). The color selection is not the best, but the L20 worked for my somewhat fair, yellow-toned skin. Covers naturally, yet very well, layers flawlessly, and does not settle into lines or pores. Fabulous! However, the color selection is skimpy, so I'm not sure that there will be a color choice for all. I've heard that Merle Norman is coming out with mineral blushes and eyeshadows in the Fall. I'll be the first in line to buy them! By the way, I am acne prone, but with dry skin, and this doesn't irritate either of my skin problems. Will definitely repurchase, as this is just about the only line that actually works AND doesn't contain the bismuth oxychloride, parabens, talc, and other unecessary ingredients. With the finish of this, I wonder why the other companies put so many things into their formulations? Makes one wonder... UPDATE: Still loving this, but I now combine two shades to make the perfect shade. Lasts forever, and have not had to repurchase more with the exception of buying a darker shade to mix with the lightest I initially bought. Seriously, this LASTS forever and the finish is gorgeous.
