Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Last Call eyeshadow

This is my favourite UD eye shadow colour. The pigment is absolutely fantastic! These shadows in general in my opinion have the best colour payoff and last all day. I love to pair these shadows with the 24/7 liners, and the primer potion. What an amazing colour, and an amazing product. I have a large collection of the UD shadows, including those from the NAKED2 Palette and have not once felt a since ounce of disappointment or dismay for this product. Fantastic! Worth the money!

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Perversion

This is my HG for black eye liner. This product is absolutely fantastic! There is no tugging, creating a smooth fluid application, and once it is set, it doesn't budge. The pigments are fantastic, and it is in no way heavy or bulky on your eyes. Urban Decay also does not test on animals, and their products are free of Parabens, Mineral Oil (which is a common allergy) and GMO's, increasing my confidence that this product is safer than most of the eyeliners you purchase out there. I would consider this more of a cream eyeliner in a stick because of its ability to glide so effortlessly without and tugging or pulling on the eye- allowing a beautiful smooth line. It does what it claims and lasts all day, although keep in mind that it still is makeup so don't go rubbing your eyes. I've cried through this stuff and it doesnt budge. It also doesnt fade away over the course of the day. My absolute HG!

Before I proceed with this review, I must add the following: Before I tried this product, NOTHING worked for my skin. I was going to go onto an oral acne supplement that had a lot of dangerous side effects, until I met my current esthetician that got my skin care regimen to a tee. I must also add that if you have mild acne, and drug store products work for you- stick with them. This is a product that requires an experienced professional to recommend, and the best way to ensure that the product works well is to have frequent visits to the esthetician to make sure that you are using the product correctly. This product is absolutely a holy grail for me. I am allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide, which eliminates the majority of acne solutions. I also for some reason cannot stand Proactiv. It made my skin break out in a horrible rash. When I first tried this product, I will admit, it did burn my skin just a little bit. It wasn't anything serious, it was just a slight tingling sensation on the surface of my skin that went away after a minute or so. The results came overnight. I get cystic acne spots on my cheeks, and a lot of smaller red pimples that are angry and sore. This product eliminated the "angriness" of the pimples, and I noticed immediately that the cystic spots were not as thick and sore. (NOTE: I am also on a low dose hormone supplement to minimize the cystic acne) The only thing I will recommend about this product is consistency. I noticed a MASSIVE difference, although I had established a routine to keep my skin clean. Routine is key. Another very important tip: This product is expensive. Although the price is high, you do not need a heaping amount of product. They are very concentrated, and with this serum I was told to only place 5 drops from the pipette onto my palm. My esthetician reccomended this product for my dry flaky skin and let me say this- it works! I find that in order to get the best out of this product, I apply it right after I come out of the shower, that way my skin will absorb it quickly. It absorbs almost immediately, and does not leave an oily sheen on my skin. It is quite expensive, but I think it's worth it. You only need 2 drops from the pipette, so the product lasts for a really long time.

Love this product. I use this colour all the time, when I want a light sheer lip that's comfortable and has just a slight flush of colour. This product smells great, and has a nice cooling sensation on the lips. It increased the moisture in my lips and prevented any flaking or chapping. I think of it as a 2-N-1 Lip Balm and Stain. I do find it needs reapplying after eating, though. in my opinion this is way better than the Chubby Stick. It also has natural ingredients that the Chubby Sticks don't.

Lipstick -NARS - Funny Face

Love love love this colour. This is one of the most versatile colours in my kit, and can be used for day or night. The staying power is great, and the packaging is absolutely stunning! I love how this shade is universally flattering, not only with skin tone, but with any type of outfit. It does slightly stain the lips after removal, although that doesn't particularly bother me all that much. Worth it. The lipsticks in my opinion are one of NARS' best products.

THE BEST MATTE LIPSTICK I OWN This lipstick is not only a lovely colour of pink, but the quality of the pigments is phenomenal! I don't usually use matte lipstick, as I find it to be extremely drying and uncomfortable. This lipstick was not the case. Although it was matte, it was comfortable, had fantastic staying power and didn't dry my lips out like the others did. Although this lipstick is quite expensive, I love it, and was worth every penny for me.

Really nice product, although I must start by saying that because the wand is plastic, if you let the wand get too close to the lashline, it does hurt your eyes. It has nice separation and length, although I found that it did not curl my lashes any more than they already were to start with (I do not use an eyelash curler) and also found that in order to get the best look, one could use a lash comb, just to make sure the lashes stay in place. The packaging is nice, although I found that there was so much hype over this product. Yes, the product is great, although I didn't find it all that it was made out to be. My only major con about this product is how insanely difficult it is to remove completely at night, and when I think I have removed all of it before I shower, I find myself with raccoon eyes when I look in the mirror. If it wasn't so difficult to remove I would use this product everyday instead of my normal usage which is only when I want length and separation.

By far my favourite MAC lipstick colour. Goes on nicely, and is very pigmented. Although if I do not set my lips with a powder or a primer I do find I need to reapply a lot during the course of the day, but other than that the staying power is great and the price is decent. When it comes to brands like MAC, you get what you pay for. This product, and their lipsticks in general are worth the money.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked 2 Palette

I use this palette almost every day, and ever since I have purchased it, I have no complaint. I personally love Urban Decay because their pigments are strong, and the quality is outstanding when it comes to their eye colours. NAKED 2 also follows the strong pigments, and lasting quality, and I was far from disappointed. Personally, I think that the price was a little expensive, although you are getting a lot of good product, and the value is great. If a luxury brand offered something like that, it would probably cost over $150. Also, Urban Decay does not test on animals or use any parabens or GMO's in any of their products. Some of these eye shadows in this set are also Vegan. Love this palette. Worth every penny for me.

Love this product. The fact that it is water based is fantastic for my acne prone skin. This, among very few others, will not make my skin breakout and feels very comfortable on your skin. I do find that a setting powder is needed for an all day finish, although that takes minimal effort. I found the best way to apply this product was with my fingers. I warm the product in the palm of my hand, and use my two fingers to apply the product. A moisturizer underneath is necessary, although it does have SPF 15, so an additional sunscreen in your base is not needed (unless you're someone like me with very fair skin that burns quite easily). I find applying this product with a brush creates quite a streaky finish unless you feel like spending an extra couple of minutes making sure to buff and blend out all your edges and contours. Overall: Great product! Good for the days where you're running late and need to quickly apply your makeup with minimal fuss and mess. Tips: SHAKE VERY WELL. Because this product is water based, if you do not shake the container and mix the product before squeezing out of the bottle, the water and pigments separate.

LOVED this product. nice consistency when pumped out of the bottle, and warmed up nicely on the back of my hand. I find I only need about 1/2 to 1 pump of product, and the packaging makes the product easy to dispense. Coverage: the lightest coverage would be a medium coverage, although the great thing about this product is that you can layer to get as much coverage as you would like without the heaviness or cakey feeling you would get with heavier foundations. I find this product is best applied with a brush, because that way you can really buff the product into the skin. I have combination skin and find that I can wear this product without a setting powder, and need to make minimal touchups during the course of the day. Also, it does not make my skin red or breakout, which is pretty miraculous considering a lot of makeup with heavy oils and synthetic parabens do this. Another lovely bonus is that it is not tested on animals, has no parabens or GMO's (If you're into that sort of thing, I know I am)
