This powder has a smooth, silky texture. It looks natural and beautiful on my very fair, dry skin. It doesn't make my pores look worse the way some other powders do. It seems to vanish into skin while leaving it shine-free. The lightest colors work wonderfully to set my foundation and hide flaws without adding color. The price and packaging are great. I simply love it!

Moisturizers -Kinerase - Dr. Lewinn Lift and Resculpt Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

I usually don't drop 30 bucks on face cream, but as a 24 year old who does some convention modeling I want to really take care of my skin. I have one smile line that's become noticeable in the past few years, and some fine lines particularly under one eye. I hope I'm not imagining this but this cream has seemed to soften the nasal-labial fold and I can no longer see the fine line that used to appear at the corner of my mouth. The under-eye lines are less noticeable too. My skin has an overall smoother, brighter, prettier appearance. The jar has lasted me for several weeks so far and the cream has the BEST orange scent. I think my skin looks a bit better in pictures too. For me, this cream is expensive, so I'm not sure if I'll buy it again... but I am happy with the improvements I've seen so far!

Conditioner -Suave - Keratin Infusion Color Care Conditioner

I gotta say, I like it! I don't often buy Suave but couldn't resist the advertising. It has a wonderful scent that I actually can notice after I rinse it! It leaves my hair soft, moisturized and shiny. Rinsed clean, nice rich product texture, and an overall good budget buy. Update: On my second bottle. I went to something else and really just wanted this conditioner back because my hair is noticeably better with it! I just blow dried my hair, and since I couldn't find my heat protecting shine spray I assumed it would turn out poorly. But my hair was absurdly soft, manageable, bouncy and shiny! I didn't even need to smooth it out with a flat iron. Usually my hair only looks like this after I get it blow dried at the salon. If things keep going this way I may never switch. It's under 3 dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wowza.

I agree with most of the other reviews. This is by no means a glamor product; it's thick, greasy, and takes a while to absorb into the skin. It's hard to rub in, too. But when I say that NOTHING else can do for my skin what this cream does, I mean it. My skin has become very sensitive over the past year and dries out easily. This is nearly becoming the only product I can use, and it's also the only one that can fix my dry patches. Put it on thick at night and let it sink in. Before you know it, you'll have perfectly hydrated skin. I love this product, though I wish I didn't need it!

Styling Products -TRESemme - Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Creme

I have to say, this product really works! I comb this through my wet hair and it dries to a frizz free finish. I like to use this product in damp hair and put it in two french braids, then let it dry overnight. When I unravel it my hair is like a mermaid (in a good way!). A little bit is all you need-- if you use too much your hair may look greasy. I noticed that fresh out of the bottle this product does have a chemical smell, but it's not noticeable in hair and it's probably why the cream really delivers results. I'm impressed with this product and would repurchase for sure. Tresemme does not test on animals, too. :)

Mascara -Boots - No7 Extreme Length Mascara

I love this mascara! It truly adds wonderful length that looks perfectly natural. It does not clump, the definition and separation is top notch. Great price and expensive-looking packaging, too! The brush is "comb"-like and really brushes through the lashes. I do wish that the black shade was just a bit darker, but other than that I couldn't be more happy with this product. Boots does not test on animals and we should all buy cruelty free! I will most certainly buy this product again and again. Perfect if you want long lashes that give you a "doe-eyed" effect!

Lipstick -Clinique - Different Lipstick - Tenderheart

Great shade for redheads! It's difficult to find a really natural, flattering shade with enough pop to not be boring, but still appropriate for work. Well, this is it! My lips are strongly pigmented, so most lipsticks just look pink on me. This shade is sheer but still rich enough to cover and compliment my natural lip color. This lipstick is also very moisturizing, a necessity for my dry lips. I got this as part of a sample package so I don't know how much it costs! But Clinique doesn't test on animals so this product is a keeper! As an additional note, this shade never looks "brown" on me for some reason. It might look brown on you if you have pale lips.

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Length Mascara

I like this inexpensive mascara! First, the color is lovely. Dark, almost blue-black, it really stands out against the skin. This is my first plastic applicator brush and I like it very much! I put on a few coats of the mascara, let it dry, and then curl and brush lashes. The final result: long, dark lashes with a tapered tip and no annoying flakes at the end each lash. Now that I've had the mascara for over two months it may be beginning to dry out-- I notice just a few flakes under my eyes at the end of a work day, but usually there haven't been any flakes at all. This mascara does not clump for me, but I always recommend using a lash brush just in case. This mascara also holds a curl pretty well! Wet n Wild doesn't test on animals and that should be top priority on everyone's list! Give this mascara a try, what do you have to lose?

Loose Powders -Ben Nye - Neutral Set translucent powder

This is a wonderful powder. It really does what everyone says. It takes away shine without altering makeup color, and really just helps my skin look natural and nice. The packaging is okay-- you can shake it into the lid and that helps. I don't think this has the best staying power there is, but it's not bad either! Ben Nye doesn't test on animals which is a huge bonus. I would recommend this product to anyone, but especially if you have a hard time find a "light" or "translucent" color powder light enough for your skin!

Eyeliner -Revlon - ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen

I'm really surprised to see that people don't like this more! I am a fan of the "eye pen" because I like a nice clean line and I HATE smudging on the crease of my eyelid. This pen is easy to use. I have it in black, and it is nice and pigmented. It does not smudge, stays put all day. I can achieve that classic bombshell eye make up look that I love. I used Victoria's Secret eye pen in the past and this is very similar. The price was fair, not too expensive. Revlon does not test on animals and that is a wonderful thing!

Eyes -Unlisted Brand - Careprost~Generic Brand Latisse

This is a very, very early review. I just started using this product a few days ago. I have very sensitive, easily irritated eyes normally so I was worried about side effects. I just wanted to let people know that so far I have had zero side effects, no irritation or redness, no itching, nothing at all! I agree with the reviewer who said that one drop is enough for BOTH eyes, not one drop per eye. That seems like it would waste the product. I put a drop in tin foil and touch the brush to it and apply it carefully. I also wait for my eye to dry until I open it. I have blue eyes so I will look for any changes and update later. Update: Have been using Careprost for about 3 weeks. Still no side effects, no itching, redness, etc. I study my eye color in good lighting and do not see any difference, they are as light blue as before. I notice my lashes are curlier, I hardly have to curl them and the curl lasts all day, which is new. I don't notice much difference in length until I put mascara on, and then it's, "wow, I'm having a good lash day!" Lashes do appear more prominent than before. I've also noticed some "baby" lashes starting to grow in. Will update again later. Update: Somewhere around the 9-10 week mark. Still no side effects. I see a huge difference in my lashes, even without mascara. With mascara, my lashes are so awesome I could scream! I used to wear fake lashes for special events. Never again! Now I have the perfect movie star lashes I always wanted-- no wishing for extensions, no fancy expensive mascara needed. I am thrilled with my results and can't wait to see what they look like at the end of the 16 weeks. Keep growing, lashes! Not to jump the gun, but if things continue this way I think that this is the quite simply the best beauty product ever made. You can't argue with your own REAL LASHES. If you want great lashes and haven't tried this yet-- why haven't you!? 12 week update: Lashes still getting more awesome, but slowly. Still no unwanted side effects, this product is a miracle. Will repurchase again, believe you me. Update: I'm very happy with my lashes but I'm worried that I'll run out of careprost before my next shipment comes in! So I'm cutting down to every 3rd day even though I have not hit the sixteen week mark yet. I'll start again every night when it arrives. No side effects but I do notice that I have tiny lashes growing from my tear duct, even though I don't put careprost on that area. Final update: My lashes are long, full, curly and amazing! People have noticed how great they look. When I see pictures of me before careprost it's like I didn't have any lashes at all-- now they are a major feature on my face! I will buy this product for as long as they make it. Putting on mascara is so exciting every day, I'm very pleased with my results! NO side effects for me. And alldaychemist.com is a wonderful, helpful site that reshipped my package for free when the post office gave me a problem. I love my lashes, I love careprost, and I have to say that this is no less than the absolute best beauty product invented within the last fifteen or twenty years. BUY IT.

Liquid -Jordana - Oil Free Liquid Foundation

This is quite a find! It is easily better than the more expensive foundations I have tried. I have dry skin, so I mix this with some moisturizer as I apply it. I use a sponge to blend the makeup. It dries a little quickly, so sometimes I have to work to make it look really smooth; in this case I wet the makeup sponge and run it lightly over any rougher areas. The lightest shade is perfect for my very fair skin-- a wonderful color match! It leaves my skin looking smooth, natural, and so pretty that I love to check my skin out in the mirror. It covers well and seems to last long. I will update if anything changes. Overall, I would say give this a shot, especially if you have trouble finding foundation light enough for your pale skin. At 1.99, there's very little risk involved! I was able to find it at a .99 store, because sometimes they do not sell the foundation with the other Jordana products at other retailers. Update: Still the best foundation I've ever used. Add to it that this brand does not test on animals and I will never stray! Do yourself a favor and try it out!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Stylish Smokes in Natural Smokes

This is a wonderful combination of colors. The lightest brown color is my favorite-- it's like the perfect, soft, subtle mix of brown and silver. Sometimes I just use the white with the lightest brown for a natural look. The medium brown is very flattering with a hint of gold, and the dark brown is as dense and deep as I wanted it to be. It costs about 8 dollars, and since all the colors are winners, it's a good value. Update: Will stop using since Maybelline tests on animals. Sorry, Maybes.

Treatments (Eye) -L'Oreal - Lash Boosting Serum

A happy customer is a customer with realistic expectations. I've been looking for a simple, inexpensive lash conditioner for some time now. I use false eyelashes on occasion, and curl my natural lashes every day. Needless to say, it takes a toll on the health of my eyelashes. I was hoping that this product would make my eyelashes stronger, and over time perhaps a bit thicker or a touch longer. I am pleased so far-- I have been using it for a few weeks and see some improvement. My eyelashes are definitely healthier, and it looks like there's more of them. I can't tell if they are any longer. Overall, I am now happier with my lashes. I can curl and them put on some mascara and they look rather nice. Not a fake-lash effect, but nice. I got it at Walmart for $12, so the price was not unreasonable.

As others have said, this product does work-- but the results aren't as immediate as with strips. I remember I bought this and used it the first time and thought, "did I waste my money?" I stuck with it and less than two weeks later my teeth are wonderfully, evenly white. I also love that this product leaves my teeth as smooth as when I leave the dentist's office. I'm not the biggest fan of white strips, and I worry that they'll make my teeth sensitive. I've experienced no discomfort with this product. I agree that the gel eventually becomes almost impossible to get out of the tube, though. All in all, a great buy.
