Lipstick -NARS - Lipstick in Dolce Vita

I've heard so many beauty gurus rave about this lipstick... and now I know why. As it's been said so many times, Dolce Vita is such an universal lipstick. I really couldn't imagine anyone being disappointed with this product. I just love love love love this MLBB lippy. Color: Reddish coral but very sheer as it is a sheer lipstick. I think the color really depends on a person's natural lip color. Mine's naturally reddish coral, so it really enhances my natural lip color. It could be worn casually when applied once, but would totally work as a night-out/workplace lipstick when applied several times. Formula: Super, and I mean SUPER, moisturizing. It glides on my lips so smoothly without creasing in my lips. However, the staying power isn't too great. But it won't leave your skin chapped or dirty even when it fades. Packagings: The usual rubber case. I personally don't like how it gets super dirty after a while... but it really doesn't bother me since the product's so great. Price: It's okay-ish. Not too expensive for a high-end lipstick I think. Anyone who's looking for a casual red/coral lipstick should deffs try this beautiful Dolce Vita lipstick. You won't regret it:D

Blush -NARS - Mounia [DISCONTINUED]
Ruksy 9/1/2010 9:43:00 AM
my skin: NW 20 (Deauville)/Cool undertone but mostly on the neutral side(with some redness around my cheekbones) Mounia is such a pretty blush. It's a brownish cinnamon red with the slightest amount of golden glitters. I think it would work on any skin undertones and through fair skin beauties to dark skin beauties depending on the amount you swipe across your face. However, it is SO pigmented. You really have to be careful when you apply it on your brush because it would make you look like a sun-burnt clown. So... what I usually do is... 1. Tap the blush brush LIGHTLY on to the blush. 2. Take a tissue and distribute the pigment around the brush. 3. Tap the brush once on to both sides of my cheeks. 4. Take a clean brush and blend the color in a circular motion. (5. Blend it more using Nico blush. But this is totally optional. It does make your blush appear more natural and glowy without making it look chalky or overly white.) Mounia appears as a pretty red/cinnamon color on my skin tone. It did take me a while to get used to it just because I'm not so light handed with my blush brush. But I'm sure all you beauty gurus will be able to handle it. It may make a fair skin look bit dirty since the blush has some brown to it and it can be hard to blend... so I took one lippy off. All in all, it's a great autumn/winter blush! Don't be scared by the color! It's worth giving a shot! :)
