Tinted Moisturizer -Lancome - Hydra Zen Teinte Tinted Moisturizer

Love this product! I've never really liked using foundations as they always feel and/or look obvious to me. However, as I'm not blessed with a naturally flawless complexion (it's often quite ruddy) I need to use something to even it out. So I tried various tinted moisturisers and mineral powders. Many of them were good, but not great. As my skin has become drier over the years I tend to prefer tinted moisturisers over mineral powders. This is by far the best one I've found to date. I've also tried Bobbi Brown (too rich) and Laura Mercer (good but not as good as this) I use the natural shade which is a very neutral color; most other products and shades are either too orange or too pink for me. The texture is extremely natural looking but at the same time evens my skin tone. One should note however, it isn't as moisturising as other tinted moisturisers, rather, it leans more towards a matte finish. I think I'll be using this for years as it's easy to apply (fingers only) and I never have any telltale lines. One more thing. As you don't need to use too much, the tube lasts a very long time. I've had mine now for almost a year.

Conditioner -Pureology - Super Smooth Conditioner
RudolphGrizzly 1/28/2012 5:40:00 PM
Smells nice. Detangles well. Smoothes my wavy hair, minimizes frizz and moisturizes (even the ends of my hair). The smooth line has worked the best for me out of all the Pureology shampoos and conditioners. May be too heavy for anyone with fine hair.

Shampoo -Pureology - Super Smooth Shampoo
RudolphGrizzly 1/28/2012 5:34:00 PM
This is my favorite of the Pureology line. I have slightly wavy hair that is a bit damaged & dry as I've hightlighted it for years. It makes my hair smoother and softer but it still has body and movement. The smell is nice as well, much less sweet than the nano line. It's expensive but does what is says.

Treatments -Joico - k-pak deep penetrating reconstructor

The best deep conditioning product I've used. I've always taken good care of my hair but over the last year, as a result of highlighting and blow drying my hair regularly it became uncontrollably damage. I tried Bumble & Bumble Deep, Redken Real Control, Aveda Damage Remedy and Philip Kingsley Elasticizer Estrem; all are good, but not good enough for my level of damage or as good as this. It's allowed me to have shiny, bouncy, elastic hair again. (Though I do try to minimize the amount of blow drying I do so I don't go back to having frizzy, lifeless, broken overly bleached hair.

Fragrances -Penhaligon's - Quercus
RudolphGrizzly 10/15/2011 6:07:00 PM
This isn't the Penhaligon's frangrance I wanted to like the best. Fresh off the sample paper I really enjoyed Esprit du bois and Orange blossom. Unfortunately, their beauty was lost once mixed with my body chemistry. Quercus was one I kept coming back to but I didn't know why. Luckily, for my boyfriend (I drive him crazy trying to find a fragrance that I don't find boring or cloying) this one smells just as great on as in the bottle. I've recently realised I tend to prefer unisex smelling fragrances for myself as I dislike overly sweet, or floraly fragrances that are typical of high street perfumes. This is a classic and clean fragrance that you can wear anytime. A definite keeper.
