Scrubs -Neutrogena - Visibly Clear spot stress control daily scrub with MicroClear
rated 3 of 5

I like that it contains cucumber and green tea, and that it moisturises well, but I prefer my scrubs to have more scrubby action in them. I'm sure it's pretty good for the skin but if I'm gonna use a scrub, I want it to really feel like it scrubs off all the old, dead skin, and this, as well as many others, doesn't.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Visibly Clear Oil-Free Moisturiser

I have very acne-prone combination skin. I mostly try to use more natural products, but when it comes to a facial moisturiser, I keep coming back to this drugstore brand just because it's the only one I've found that moisturises well enough without breaking me out. It works under makeup and keeps oiliness somewhat in check. And it's cheap!

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Visibily Clear - Spot Stress Control - Ultra-Light Spot Treatment Moisturiser

As others have stated, this gel is incredibly light and runny, and doesn't moisturise very well. It works fine if you use a very moisturising wash first, or, I assume, if your skin never feels dry to begin with. It sinks in very quickly and leaves your skin feeling very smooth and silky. I bought it because it contains green tea extract, which is supposed to be really good for acne and oil control, but after using up one 40 ml bottle, I haven't been able to tell if it really made a difference. It doesn't aggravate my acne at all though, so that's good.

Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Deep Cleansing Cream with Soap Bark and Chamomile
rated 4 of 5
Rosse86 11/1/2012 4:43:00 PM

I have only been using this for a couple of weeks, so I don't know if it's just my natural cycle or something, but my skin has been looking and feeling much better since I started, and I've gotten fewer new spots. I've previously been afraid of using mild, oil based cleansers for my oily, acne prone skin, but this one works really well, and moisturizes rather than dries out. I haven't been using any foundation since I started with this though, only a spot-fighting concealer, so I don't know how well it would cleanse off foundation. The only thing I don't like about it is the mint. Why do Burt's Bees insist on putting that irritating stuff in all their products!? It makes my eyes run, so I have to use something else to remove my eye makeup.

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Herbal Blemish Stick
rated 4 of 5

Fantastic mix of natural, acne fighting ingredients - and it really helps to kill spots quickly! However, it's quite expensive and the roll-on packaging is very leaky! When I put it on my skin a lot of it just ran out all over my face, and when I was travelling a lot leaked out into the cap as well. So it ran out very quickly. If they fix the packaging I would consider buying it again!

Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Coconut Foot Creme
rated 3 of 5

I love coconut and this foot cream is indeed very moisturizing. Great list of natural ingredients, and it looks and feels just like honey. Like many of BB's products it does have a little bit of peppermint, which I'm no huge fan of.

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - 100% Natural Lip Roll-on
rated 4 of 5

I love this as a natural lip gloss, but I don't find it to be very moisturizing - which is surprising considering it consists almost exclusively of a bunch of natural oils. The Berry one smells very nice, but I didn't like the Mint version as I'm no fan of cooling products.

I was hoping they would bring it back for this year's halloween, but they didn't. It had the most amazing scent EVER, o.m.g. I'm gonna hope for next year now!

Masks -The Body Shop - Honey & Oat Scrub Mask
rated 3 of 5
Rosse86 11/1/2012 3:56:00 PM

Kaolin and honey are good ingredients for a face mask, but I don't think this one does any wonders, and I don't think it's worth the price. Also, the exfoliating pieces don't do anything, so the "3 in 1" is a joke. By the way, the ingredient list is a long tirade of unnatural stuff including lots of parabens.

Shampoo -The Body Shop - Rainforest Balance Shampoo
rated 3 of 5
Rosse86 11/1/2012 3:44:00 PM

I'm glad TBS is finally getting rid of sulfates and parabens in some of their products. This shampoo is affordable and pretty decent, but sometimes doesn't cleanse super well if you have greasy hair that hasn't been washed recently, and you may need to shampoo twice. It also still contains a lot of unnatural ingredients, so there are other brands I'll rather use.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Chocomania Body Butter
rated 2 of 5

I love this scent, it's the same as a chocolate series that Crabtree and Evelyn used to have. However, after applying it forms a sticky layer on the skin that flakes off! It also tastes horribly bitter if you accidentally get some on your lips or mouth.

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Care Stick - Cocoa Butter
rated 4 of 5

Love this! It smells wonderful (sweet, mild chocolaty scent) and moisturizes very well. My only complaint is my second stick went bad quite quickly - it stopped smelling sweet and now smells slightly like rancid fat :/

Conditioner -The Body Shop - Rainforest Moisture Hair Butter
rated 2 of 5
Rosse86 11/1/2012 3:22:00 PM

I think this product has too much olive oil or something, as it just leaves my hair greasy and heavy. It's not so bad if I only use a little bit on the tips of my hair and wash it out quickly, but how fun is that? Avoid!

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Hemp lip conditioner (stick)
rated 4 of 5

Great lip balm! I use it twice a day and it keep my lips from drying out. The packaging and consistency is good as well. It doesn't smell as good as some other lip balms, but it doesn't smell bad either.

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Handy gurugu
rated 4 of 5
Rosse86 11/1/2012 2:57:00 PM

Has this been discountinued?? I think it's a wonderful natural hand cream and I've been using it along with Helping Hands for some time. Unlike that one, Handy Gurugu sinks into the skin completely, and a has a fresh herbal smell. I don't know what the little brown bits are about though...
