Liquid -Chanel - Le Blanc De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Base

It is only my first week using this product but I really enjoy it. As with all of Chanel's skin care/use proucts it is lightly scented. I personally enjoy the scent as it is very fresh and puts my senses into the delicate world of my beauty regime. I have dry skin and this product helps deliver moisture while reducing the apperance of redness on my cheeks. It does as it says and illuminates the skin adding an additional touch of radiance and glow to my look. I do use this everyday and apply Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua over top. The beauty of this base is it allows the foundation to spread smoothly and evenly causing me to use less of it. There is 1oz of product in the bottle which can easily last 4 months. As with other reviews I am not too keen on the spatula for application. I am very careful with bacteria coming into contact with my face or products so it is beneficial to keep a bottle of rubbing alcohol close to the spatula to ward off any unwanted bacterial contact/growth. I will buy again.

Fragrances -Yves Saint Laurent - Belle d'Opium

My sister was kind enough to give me this fragrance after finding it did not work for her. I use it on occasion, sometimes combination with the legendary no.5. The smell is quite spicy and very lovely. reading other reviews I see many users have picked up on fruity notes but on my spin it is predominantly spice, floral then a slight fruit. I enjoy the warmth of the fragrance and find it suitable in the fall or winter weather and for evening use in the spring/summer. I would definitely purchase this fragrance again.

Fragrances -Avon - Rare Gold

My grandmother gave me this scent many years ago and I started wearing it this year. It is so incredibly beautiful, warm, and spicy with just the right hint of fruit and floral. One of my signature scents, Rare Gold is subtle, distinctive and feminine. The perfume lasts for hours and leaves a linger in the air that adds a fragrant elegance to match my makeup and wardrobe. I often wear this scent at parties because I find it very enchaining. I adore this perfume and will buy it as long as I can. I recommend this to young women like myself who wish to break free of candy-like and overly fruity fragrances.

Scrubs -Burt's Bees - Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub

This exfoliator is wonderful! I have dry skin and require something gentle, hydrating and non-abrasive. This is it. The Burt's Bees Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub is a great product for one a week/twice a month exfoliation. I use Dr. Hauschka skin care and I am not supposed to exfoliate as it can disturb pH levels of the skin but this exfoliator is gentle enough that it just gives my dead skin cells and extra little lift while keeping my skin moist with a natural product. I recommend this for users with dry skin looking for non-abrasive exfoliation once a week. *be sure to use a gentle touch as the product can be abrasive if you rub too hard.

Cleansers -Dr. Hauschka - Cleansing Milk

The Dr. Hauschka Cleaning Milk is the first step to my night time routine. I was recommended the cleansing milk to remove my make up and it does an absolutely wonderful job. I use a medium coverage foundation and wear a small amount of mascara, shadow and liquid liner on my eye and this product gets it off. The cleansing milk is rich and comforting to my dry skin and removes most or all of my makeup depending on the day. The milk is a wonderful predecessor to the cleansing cream as it allows the rest of the products in the system to penetrate and work on the skin. I recommend this product to users with dry skin and people who wear minimal to medium coverage makeup. If you use foaming cleansers you may find that the product will hydrate you face and prevent against over drying. Tips: 1. For users who do not wear waterproof mascara: When trying to remove eye makeup I recommend using a little bit of warm water with the milk around the eye area to break down the mascara, it is a gentler and quicker method that I use. 2. I usually use 2-3 pumps to remove my makeup , after splashing some warm water on my face I work the product in small circular motions and wipe of excess makeup with a cotton pad or tissue then rinse and use a face cloth. 3. I advise anyone using this product to try the cleansing cream in the line, the two work together wonderfully. 4. Like all Dr. Hauschka products you don't need much for it to work. Key words: comforting, soothing, gentle, hydrating, leaves skin fresh and bare.

Mascara -Chanel - Inimitable Intense Mascara

My lashes are of a medium length and I look for mascara that can separate, lengthen, curl and style my lashes. The Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara is a lovely and luxurious product that works for the minimal application I apply to my outer lashes. The formula is lengthening, volumizing and curling and it lives up to its word although I do recommend using a lash curler before applying to product. This mascara lasts all day and adheres to the lashes well, but by the end of the day I do notice that some of the mascara has flaked off my lower lashes so I would not recommend this to anyone who wears heavy mascara on their lower lashes. The wand is wonderful, I can feel it separate my lashes while distributing the ideal amount of mascara. Overall I enjoy the mascara.

Moisturizers -Dr. Hauschka - Rose Day Cream

Another wonderful product from Dr. Hauschka. I received a sample size version of the Rose Day cream in the trial pack and use it when my skin becomes excessively dry in some places like my nose, chin or cheeks. I either apply the product as a spot treatment before heading out or, only when necessary, before bed. The cream is thick and effective, for me the hydration lasts all day as the product absorbs a little more slowly since my skin is not mature. I am considering investing in the product come the winter weather since my skin dries out more at that time.

Cleansers -Dr. Hauschka - Cleansing Cream

The Dr. Hauschka skin care program has perfected my skin. I am 20 years old and have had dry skin with minimal acne my whole life. I have tried cream cleansers from dozens of companies and none have proven to be as effective and of as high a quality as Dr. Hauschka's cleansing milk and cream. I apply this product after using the cleansing milk. The representative at the store directed me to gently pat it on my face and allow it to sit for about a minute or two as harsh exfoliation can disrupt the pH levels of skin (the product contains almond pieces). As the cleansing milk lifts my make up this cream lifts the cleansing milk from my face using very little product, about a dime-size. When I use it I imagine that it actually absorbs what is left from the milk while balancing and nourishing my skin. Although Dr. Hauschka products do not contain oils my dry skin has never felt more hydrated and nourished. My makeup goes on smooth, I wake up radiant, hydrated and glowing. My skin is at its prime and thanks to these products I can tell and I can show it off instead of covering it up. I am excited about my skin care regime because I no longer have to worry about my skin drying out, having the feeling of a low quality product, or moisturizing products that awkwardly sit on my skin. I encourage anyone with dry skin to try the Dr. Hauschka skin care regime and see the benefits it produces. I am so glad to have found skin care that will stick with me for what I hope to be my whole life. Liquid -Clinique - Redness Solutions Makeup SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology

This foundation is remarkable! I have very dry skin with slight redness on my cheeks just below the eye and have very fair darkness below my eyes. I used to use a very heavy foundation to conceal my redness but this product offers fantastic full coverage in a lightweight liquid. The finish is dewy and it lasts a very long time. My skin is left supple and moist. Fantastic product, I had to go to two stores to get my colour because they had sold out, not a surprise at all. The colour blends very well with my own and gives me a slight healthy glow. Definitely worth a try.
