Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Buffing Brush

If you haven't bought any of the Real Techniques brushes, you're seriously missing out. The Buffing Brush is probably the best out of the bunch. It's soft and doesn't absorb all of the product. I would never pay for a $40 dollar MAC or Sigma brush, when I could get a whole set of Real Technique brushes for $17. Definitely go online or stop by your closest Ulta and pick some of these brushes (if not all!!) up.

I am seriously in love with this foundation. I tried the liquid Colorstay and it was just not for me. It sits on top of my skin and looks so obvious. This foundation works so well with my skin. It blends perfectly and does not at all look obvious. I put my makeup on around 10 AM today, set it with Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder and E.L.F.'s HD powder and it hasn't budged. It was in the 100s today and I even sweat a bit and it stayed on perfectly. I have pretty oily skin and I haven't had to blot my face ALL day. It is a bit expensive, but I only paid $6 dollars for it because Meijer was having a sale and I had a coupon!! I wouldn't mind paying full price for this foundation though.

I was so sad when I lost my bottle of this and now I can't find it at Kroger anymore!! I used it every night with a cotton ball to get the rest of my makeup off after I'd wash my face and it was amazing how much makeup was still left on my face that it picked up. The smell is a bit strong, but not completely unpleasant. IT'S SO CHEAP, and you get SO MUCH PRODUCT. It kept my face clear and combination skin balanced. If you have dry skin, I wouldn't recommend using this every night, because it does dry your skin up. But if you use a good night cream with it, you shouldn't have a problem using it nightly.

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup

I did not buy this personally, but my roommate uses it and we're both pretty fair, so I decided I would try it, BIG mistake. I wore it on a night out, so at least I was in the dark with it on. It is so shimmery/glittery. My face was covered in glitter. I would've scrubbed it all off if I had time before I went out. I'm so glad I didn't waste my money buying this product. My roommate doesn't mind the sparkle so at least she didn't waste her's. All I have to say positively about it is that at least it has a pump.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup

I read all of the reviews and had such high expectations for the product, but I'm really unimpressed. The only thing I liked is that the lightest shade was one of the few foundations that didn't look orangey on my fair skin, like most other drugstore foundations. Colorstay just sits on top of my skin, it doesn't absorb smoothly and enlarges my pores even with primer. It also gives me nasty breakouts. And the no pump thing makes it very messy. I'll probably try the mousse and pray that the formula is superior to this one.

Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Lumi Touch

I have pale skin with large pores, so not many concealers can do the job. Maybelline products usually are a bit too orange for me, but this one matches my skin perfectly. It can look too light, but I just put it on before my foundation and it hides any discoloration or blemishes very well and the lighter spots aren't noticeable AT ALL. This is fastest I've ever run out of a concealer. I was disappointed when I ran out so quickly because it is on the pricey side, but I will definitely be buying more!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic Explosion

I think this product gets a bad rap. I have a long lashes but they are almost completely blond. This is one of the few mascaras that catch every lash. Everyday since I started wearing it people have asked me what kind of false lashes I have on. Other than the clumping (which can be fixed with a clean spool brush that you can get for free at makeup counters) I'm impressed with this product.
