This brush is an absolute must-have! This is the best brush to use when applying the BM Ready Foundation. It allows for it to go on like a dream! I know that it is quite pricey. But, it it is SO worth it to have!
I love all of the loose BM blushes that I have ever tried. They are highly pigmented easy to blend out. And, they are very long-lasting on the face as well.
I absolutely love this product! I own this in Luminous Beige (#2). I will use it either just under my eyes or sometimes around my whole eye area to really brighten it up. And, it just brings a brightness to such that I have never been able to achieve with any other product before. Other brighening eye products would give off a raccoon effect. But, not this product. Also, this product has never creased or caked up on my face (which is a huge plus!). And, I have not experienced any problems with it being irritating to my eye area what so ever.
I wear the shades Medium Beige (Original foundation) and Medium Tan (Ready foundation) for the most part. Sometimes, I will wear Golden Medium (Original foundation) as well. However, no matter which one of the three shades that I wear, I like to pair it up with Summer Bisque as my concealer. I like to use Summer Bisque for spot concealing wherever needed on my face. Also, I like using it on my eyelids as well as underneath my eyes to cover up shadowing in those areas. And, I am so glad that it has SPF20 in it, which aids in keeping my face protected from the sun's damaging UV rays. This concealer is an all-around winner in my book. And, I will certainly continue to re-purchase it.
Mascara -Bare Escentuals - Flawless Definition mascara
Reservechic 4/28/2013 6:11:00 PM
I found this mascara to be a pretty okay one. It does the job that it's supposed to do. It curls and adds a bit of lengthening to my lashes everytime I've ever used it. And, most of all, it doesn't irritate my eyes one bit. However, there are better mascaras that I have tried before. Which is why, I do not consider this particular mascara worthy of re-purchasing.
Treatments -Giovanni - Direct Leave in Conditioner
Reservechic 3/31/2013 10:40:00 PM
This product has undergone various formulation changes since it first came on the market. The formulation that I am currently using is the one that I purchased this year - 2013 (which is their most recent formulation). And, I must say, I am very, very pleased with it. It has a nice creamy texture to it. With this product a little does truly go a long way. If you apply too much, then it will take longer for the product to fully sink into your hair. Also, this product does have a fresh, natural scent to it that is not overpowering at all. And, this product is normally offered in a regular 8.5 oz size bottle. But, there are places that do sell it in liter size too. I ike to apply this product to my hair at least once a week, after I have fresly cleansed and conditioned my hair. I prefer to appy this leave in onto soaking wet hair versus damp. And, I do make surethat it has been evenly distributed throughout my entire head of hair, before I apply my styler over choice over it. This product truly is weightless in texture. It never builds in my hair. And, it never leaves my hair with a white cast to it either. It is great to use for detangling, moisturizing and helping to strenthen one's hair as well (due to the proteins that are in it).
Conditioner -Giovanni - Smooth As Silk Conditioner
Reservechic 3/31/2013 7:27:00 PM
Giovanni has reformulated this product a number of times, so when going to pick up any of the Giovanni products its best to check the ingredient listing always. Now, I have not tried any of its prior formulations. I have only tried their current version of this product (as of 2013-when I purchased it). And, I think that it is a pretty decent conditioner overall. This product is considered a deep conditioner. While, its moisturizing, detangling, and smoothing properties are all pretty okay (in my opinion). This product isn't as deeply conditioning to my hair as it claims to be. Therefore, whenever I use it, I use it as a regular, rinse-out conditioner only. It has a light citrusy-herbal smell that I find to be pleasant and not-overpowering at all. It normally comes in an 8.5 oz bottle. But, there are bigger (liter and gallon sizes) sizes offered for this product as well. I do plan to continue using this conditioner. It definitely provides good benefits to my hair overall. And, that's all that really counts. None of the stores around me actually carry this product. So, I have to order it online. So. if you are someone that cannot easily get this product on the ground, be sure to check for it online. There are a lot of places online that you can buy Giovanni products for cheap at!
I am a woman of color with Type 3b naturally curly hair. My hair is very dry and is prone to tangles. And, I am a woman of color as well (of Black, Caucasian, and Mexican descent). When it comes to conditioners that I have used, this is one of the best ones that I have ever come across! It gives my hair nice slip, it moisturizes my hair nicely, and it really aids in strengthening and warding off breakage with my hair quite well. And, I especially like that you can use this product before ceansing your hair (as a pre-poo treatment) or afterwards (as a deep conditioning treatment). The biggest that I have with this product is its smell. It has a noticeably strong herbal smell to it. It's smell is surely not a pleasant one. And, if I actually didn't like how well this product works for my hair, I actually would have stopped using this stuff right away. This product has a rich consistency to it. However, it does spread very easily onto the hair. But, it is not the easiest at times to get out of the bottle. Also, this conditioner is the easiest to find. There are no stores near me that actually sell this stuff. So, I have to order it from online and then wait for it to be shipped out to me. And, I actually like to rotate this conditioner in with my other ones. I prefer to use it twice a month on my hair. And, this happens to work out best for my hair.
Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - As I Am- Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner
Reservechic 3/23/2013 11:02:00 PM
This is the best product to use to co-wash your hair with hands down! It has a nice coconut smell to it. It really aids with softening one's hair during the cleansing process. It provides lots of slip to my hair, which makes detangling a breeze! And, it comes in a nice size 16 ounce container that retails for less than $8. It has a light yet creamy consistency to it, which makes it totally easy to spread throughout your hair. It hasnever caused ay buildup on my scalp. And it rinses away very nicely the hair, without eaving any residue behind. This product comes in a screw top container. Which I don't find to best type of pcaging for this particular product. As, you have to be very careful with not getting any water in the container. Instead, I feel that it would be best for the makers of this product to put it in a bottle with either a cap or pump to it. This product will forever remain a ataple in my hair care regimen.
Great nude-pink shade that I feel is perfect for day or night wear!
I purchased both the Medium and Medium/Tan shades. First off, the shades all run on the cool side. They do not possess warm undertones to them at all. Also, on the display, there were no shades offered past the Tan shade shade. And, the Tan shade wasn't really what I would consider to be rich enought in tone to be considered Tan. People in this world come in a wide variety of shades. Therefore, I fee that there should be a more wide range of truly deeper shades offered. So, that is one con that I definitely had to mention about,, when it comes to the shades offered in the line. The powder has a very silky smooth texture to it. It provides sheer-to-light coverage. It goes on looking natural and does make you look like you are wearing tons of powder on your face. However, this powder is milled too soft and when you go to use it, it's messy to use (even though its a pressed powder). If I use a brush, I get more mess. If I use the included sponge, there is slighly less of a mess. But, all in all, that is one issue with this powder that I truly don't care for. And, in the end, I actually ended up returning all of the one's that I had bought (which were 4 in total) due to this very issue.
Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector

One of the worst products from Clinique I've ever used. There was not one way that I coud make this product work for me. It was an ultimate bust!
Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover
Reservechic 3/6/2013 12:55:00 PM
I really do like this eye makeup remover alot. It has the ability to remove both waterproof and non-waterproof eye makeup alike. And, it doesn't sting my eyes at all. I sincerely hope that one day Clinique will start selling it in a larger bottle. I find that a bottle of this stuff can go up rather quickly!
Cleansers -Clinique - Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild
Reservechic 3/6/2013 12:43:00 PM
I have sensitive, combination-to-oily, acne-prone skin. I do use Retin-A on my face on a day-to-day basis. Retin-A is very drying to the skin. Therefore, I decided on a whim to try this cleanser just to see how it would/could work for my skin. This product comes in true lotion form. Also, it has a noticeaby, light cucumber scent to it as well. And, it is designed to only provide a light cleansing to one's face. If you are someone that wears makeup (like I do), you will definitely need to definitely remove your makeup beforehand. I didn't find this cleanser to leave a film on my skin after rinsing it off. Also, it didn't aggravate my skin in any way either. Overall, I think that this is a decent cleanser to use. However, I do prefer cleansers that will provide my skin with more a deeper cleaning than what this one can provide. So, I won't be re-purchasing this cleanser again.
This product really moisturizes the skin for a very long period of time. Because it packs such a moisturizing punch, I prefer to use it mainly when my skin is looking or feeling extra parched, due to my regular usage of Retin-A on it. Also, when the weather is cold out, this moisturizer is truly one of the best that you can use to keep your face from becoming totally dried out. This moisturizer does have a slight scent to it. Some people may find this to be a slight con. But, the scent of this product really isn't a big issue for me at all. As, after application, the slight scent does eventually dissipate. Overall, this moisturizer really is a good product. And, I do plan to re-purchase it in the future.
