I absolutely love this polish and am an absolute sucker for Essie's greens and blues so, of course, I had to pick this one up! This polish has a great formula and is definitely wearable with just one coat, dry time is reasonable and color payoff is excellent! I uploaded a picture of me wearing it with some nail art on top (Essie's Mint Candy Apple as the dots, Maybelline Fierce n' tangy, Essie Mod Square, and Sally Hansen Black Out for the little duck)
The color is absolutely gorgeous and what I have been looking for in a polish for a long time. The application was doable, definitely needing two coats as the first coat was somewhat transparent. Drying time was terrible in comparison to many of my other polishes, even with Seche Vite, it remained wet for a while. The brush is pretty cumbersome because of the giant lid it is attached to, so I had to put my finger on the edge of my desk and paint in that manner. The formula is somewhat thick, the best way I can describe it is that it is rubbery in consistency. I would not buy again due to the difficult application and drying time but the color is gorgeous.
I absolutely adore this color but the application is a little odd so it takes some manipulation and then patience because it takes quite a while to dry completely. You definitely need at least two coats because it will be mostly shear with just one coat. The finish comes off as rather matte so if you don't want a matte finish, you definitely need a topcoat. The staying power is so-so but I would definitely repurchase simply because of the color.
Hair -Sexy Hair Concepts - Big Sexy Hair - Volumizing shampoo

This was my first salon quality shampoo, while I don't think it did much in the way of "volumizing" it dead leave me with healthy, soft, hair. The product was such that I only have to shampoo about once every 5-7 days without my hair getting greasy; consequently, the seemingly pricey bottle of shampoo ended up lasting me until about a week ago so around 9 months! Overall it's a good product that I may revisit in the future as an old "tried-and-true" standby but as for now, I'm still on the hunt for that perfect shampoo!
I have 2 of these particular brushes which I personally use with my creme eye shadows. The dense bristles are great for working in the pigment and getting it where it needs to be! I would buy them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.
Believe it or not, I bought this trying to find a higher quality dupe of the discount brand Pure Ice's color Rumors. I absolutely adore that color but the quality is such that it chips within hours on my fingers so it remains a toe polish. This color ends up being a quite a bit darker and more purple than Rumors. While it is not the color I wanted, it is a gorgeous color in its own right. The application was smooth, what I've come to expect with Essie polishes; it's definitely a great fall/winter color.
Just finished letting the product dry and I have to say that the color is duller than what I expect from an Essie polish. The application wasn't as one-stroke as usual but a with a little finesse, I was able to get a satisfactory application after just one coat. I would recommend getting a full bead of the color when applying and not wiping some off on the edge of the bottleneck like one would typically do, the thicker coat will prevent any coverage issue and it will still dry in a similar time frame as if you had applied one coat of a thinner polish. Thus far, every other Essie polish I have used lasts at least 3 days before chipping so I hope this one will offer the same success. Gorgeous color that many are comparing to Sally Hansen's Pacific Blue, personally, I find Sally Hansen's formula to be too goopy and slow-drying in comparison.
Lipstick -Chanel - Chanel Rouge Double Intensite Rose Pearl

The staying power is amazing, the color is gorgeous but the packaging is a little lackluster for Chanel. I was excited when I first purchased this because it was to be my first daily-wear lipstick (previously I rarely ventured out of the balm/chapstick realm!) The first two times I wore this lipstick, I got a tingling sensation on my lips and tongue so I put it back in its box for a few months. I recently pulled it back out to try again and this time it felt like my lips were burning! I quickly grabbed some lotion (I was at work) and buffed it off. I am so disappointed and I hope no one else has had this experience with a lip product of any sort! I have since fell in love with the line of Revlon Lip Butters and have had no adverse reactions, thankfully!
I purchased two of these; one in Fantasme and one in Illusoire. They have a wonderful mousse texture and the colors are fantastic but the staying power leaves a lot to be desired. By the end of the day I am left with zero pigment and a face full of sparkles which are nearly impossible to remove! The sparkle is also a little too much for day wear in my opinion as the pigment is not as strong as one would initially imagine. The quality of the packaging is unparalleled, I just wish the contents inspired me similarly. Overall, I would definitely not repurchase this item as I have only used them perhaps 3 or 4 times since making their purchase over a year ago.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - eye studio lasting drama in eggplant

A lot of the other commenters are saying that the product is too sheer and flaky; I have to say that I don't agree. I wear this eyeliner literally every day and it does not flake off at all. In my opinion, the brush they give you really isn't a great choice and I opt to use a concealer brush on its side due to the need for the dense, concealer brush style, bristles and a finer line than what the original brush provides. I saw that a lot of the commenters have blue eyes; this probably explains the dissatisfaction with the color, the deep purple is a complementary color for green/hazel eyes and may look decent on some brown eyed women but would probably not look particularly flattering on blued eyed users. I enjoy the versatility of the product as I can easily choose to blend the eyeliner upwards and into the shadow if I want or apply it strictly as a liner. I find that it dries rather quickly and is not prone to smudging. Definitely a flattering color on me.

Great, fast-drying base coat. Haven't tried too many different base coats, but I am definitely satisfied with this one solely due to its durability (I have brittle, flaky nails that are prone to breaking) and fast-drying attributes. The formula also has a good consistency, allowing for easy application.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow

I have this product in Audacious Asphalt, Too Cool, and Painted Purple. This is my first experience with a creme eye shadow and I definitely prefer it. I find it best to apply with a concealer brush due to the consistency; for anyone having issues with blending... this may help you out! I have allergies and subsequently rub my eyes throughout the day and this eye shadow definitely stands up! I usually use the Too Cool as a highlight in the corners of my eyelid then blend it outward into either the Painted Purple or sometimes the Audacious Asphalt. The purple is a gorgeous bright jewel tone though it can be blended out into a lighter more lilac-like shade. I love the versatility of the product! You can either apply it heavily for an intense night-time look or blend it out for a pigmented casual look.I highly recommend the Painted Purple for anyone with green eyes; they will make your eyes stand out beautifully!
This was the first Chanel product I had ever purchased and decided to go with the Rouge Noir color in order to compliment my eye color. I completely used up the entire tube and recently had to repurchase! I love this product so much! I have used many different mascaras in the past (mainly the maybelline colossal lash) and think that the wand on this one does a better job of separating my lashes and the formula lends itself to manipulation so if you accidentally clump a few together, you can easily separate them again. Although this particular one is not waterproof, it holds steadfast throughout the day and is NOT prone to flaking. On a side note, I love the packaging and find it to be subtly luxurious with the silver band and demure indented Chanel monogram at the top of the tube. I will continue to repurchase this mascara for years to come.
Absolutely beautiful color and easy application. I used only one thick coat and was satisfied with a gorgeous shiny, cream finish! The color reminds me of a wintergreen tic tac. Works as a beautiful accent nail for the Butler Please color.
