Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

This is the best foundation I have ever used. It keeps my oily skin looking wonderful all day. Due to my pesky acne scars liquid foundation is always a bust....This mousse works like a dream and covers any blemish. I never feel more confident than when i have this on. I use a flathead brush to apply it and a few dips go along way. I like that I do not have to use very much. The matte finish gives me a airbrushed look. As a side comment, this line by maybelline really does cover a wide range of shades, the color I wear is caramel and I always look warm and bright rather than washed out like most foundations make me look. I would recommend applying a little translucent powder throughout the day if you have oily skin.

Primer/ Corrector -Victoria's Secret - Victoria's Secret Airbrush FX Face Primer SPF 20

This is a great primer. I bought it being a little frugal instead of buying my usual MAC Prep and Prime. I love this primer. It goes on very smooth and has a minimal smell. This primer does it's job as it does help my make up stay on all day. I would have to say my only beef with this primer is that it makes me a little oily, but take this with a grain of salt as I have very oily skin on my face. I put a little milk of magnesia on my T-zone and then put this primer on top of it and I never miss a beat. I have also notice less breakouts using this primer than any of my others. Also note that it lasts a very long time, I wear makeup daily and Ive been using the same bottle since July!!

I have been using this for about two weeks now and I love it! It is a very light foam and a little goes a very long way. I use a small pump on my chin, forehead and both my cheeks, paying extra attention to my cheeks as that is where the most of my problems are. I put it on at night, it isn't to sticky which is wonderful. Also, despite my oily skin this does not add to that. Instead it dries quickly and allows me to hit the sheets faster! Every morning I wake up and am so excited to feel my face! This stuff makes it tremendously soft. I have noticed that any active acne I have that is on the going away side, this helps it to heal much faster and there is little to no dark marks left(which I am prone to). The one issue I do have a problem with is that it doesn't quickly get rid of acne or blemishes. I just bought a quick spot treatment to use instead. The best place to buy it is at your local ULTA beauty store because it's $7.99 and generally they have coupons. Like I got 20% off my item.
