Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Shotgun eyeshadow

This is a coppery mettalic pink shadow with loads of silver glitter. Application is tricky (the glitter gets all over the place and rains down right under the eye area) but it's pretty cute. It goes well with my LLL yellow undertone skin, I just really had issues with the glitter and to be honest the pigmentation was nothing to rave about and neither was the stay power.

Lips -H & M - Lip Laquer in Bordeaux
rated 5 of 5

This is a gorgeous high gloss deep red with gold shimmer rich in pigmentation. It's a little on the sticky side, but it has great stay power and even when the gloss is gone, it imparts a rich burgundy stain behind so your lips aren't left completely naked. I don't wear it often so I doubt I'll ever buy it again, but it is lovely.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Spark Glossimer
rated 5 of 5
Redd 2/2/2003 9:41:00 PM

This is my Holy Grail of lipgloses. After falling in love with Shiseido's Ruby Lustre gloss's color but being dissapointed in the lasting power I hit the Chanel counter in the hopes of finding a comperable glossimer. Spark is it! It's a gorgeous sheer red with pretty gold shimmer. The gloss is very high and the lasting power is great. Like all glossimer's the texture is a bit on the tacky/sticky side, but it's tollerable. Unlike the rest of my Glossimers, it seems like I have to dip the wand many many times to get full coverage over my lips, but the color is really really worth it. It does fall under the My Lips But Better category for those of you with naturally pigmented lips, but if you tend to have a problem with red lipsticks, this is definitly a wearable red. It goes quite nicely with my LLL yellow undertone skin.

Eye Shadow -H & M - FOB Eyeshadow

I only have one H&M shadow and from what I can tell these shadows have a great silky texture and tons of pigmentation. I have Scarabe, which is a blue/gold mettalic eyeshadow with medium pigmentation. It's very smooth and really easy to blend. Overall a nice product but I wouldn't purchase it again as it tends to look a bit garish on my LLL skin.

Moisturizers -Chanel - Skin Conscience- Total Health Moisture Lotion (SPF 15)
rated 5 of 5
Redd 1/31/2003 1:36:00 PM

This is a great moisturizer. I have really sensitive skin and have been hunting for an SPF 15 moisturizer that didn't burn. I've been using this and the cream for about a month now and I'm really loving it. The lotion has a faint minty smell, but the cream has a faint chocolatey smell that I love. If you have dry skin you may want to go with cream because although the lotion is moisturizing it's not very quenching for dry skin. The lotion and cream are pricy but as with all Chanel products, a little goes a long way so it's worth the price. I'll definitely replenish this once it runs out.

Treatments (Eye) -Chanel - Precision Anti-Wrinkle Firming Eye Cream
rated 4 of 5
Redd 1/30/2003 11:02:00 PM

After using this cream for about a month now I've noticed that my eye area is more hydrated, less prone to puffines and my dark circles have lessened slightly. The difference isn't jaw droppingly noticible, but it's definitly appreciated. Although the cream is pretty pricy I have to say that a little goes a loooong way so it almost winds up being a value. At 24 I didn't need this cream but I'm considering purchasing it again once it runs out.

Fragrances -Chanel - No.5
rated 1 of 5
Redd 1/30/2003 10:57:00 PM

This is THE classic scent. I'm convinced that this is what heaven will smell like. It's soft, floral and completely feminine. I'm not very good at describing scents but I do know that this scent is mature and might be categorized by some as an old lady scent, just not by me. I think it's as fresh today as it must have been in the 1930's and well worth the whopping $95-oz price tag.

Cleansers -Chanel - Gel Tendre Non-Foaming Makeup Remover for Face & Eyes
rated 5 of 5
Redd 1/30/2003 10:51:00 PM

This is THE make up remover. It's light, fresh smelling and removes every last trace of makeup from my face, including waterproof mascara and lipstick. This has really been my Holy Grail of face cleansers. I have super sensitive skin and since I started using it over a month ago my skin has had fewer reactions and is looking great. Love this product.

Polishes -Stila - Nail Shimmer
rated 3 of 5
Redd 1/30/2003 10:42:00 PM

This is a very shimmery pale taupe semi sheer polish. I realize that all polishes stink but this one REALLY SMELLS strongly. So much so that I was actually surprised at how bad it smells. I'm not all that impressed with the color or the coverage although I do have ot say that it's less streaky than other shimmery polishes I've used. Overall a nice color but I'll stick to my OPI polishes.

Blush -Smashbox - Blush & Soft Lights Duo - Smashing Warmth / Luminance
rated 4 of 5
Redd 1/28/2003 10:37:00 PM

This highlighter/blush duo is really quite versatile. The highlighter "Luminance" is a warm, rich yellow with a nice subtle golden shimmer that brightens the skin very well. "Warmth" is a wine/berry toned blush, also with a nice subtle shimmer. As the other reviewers mentioned, "Warmth" is a bit strongly pigmented so if you tend to have a heavy hand with the blush, now would be a good time to lighten up. On my LLL yellow underdoned skin it gives a deep flushed look that I really like, but I find myself using the highlighter far more than the blush. So far it's the only highlighter I've used this frequently. I can't say I'd purchase it again because I don't see myself buying the duo, if I can buy the highlighter on it's own.

Lip Gloss -Smashbox - Lipgloss- Pixel
rated 2 of 5
Redd 1/28/2003 10:28:00 PM

This is a very light nude pink with very sublte shimmer that can be lumped in the "My lips but better" catgory. On my LLL with yellow undertone skin it was really quite nice but the texture was just off and the staying power was minimal. Definitely a natural face kind of look. Being used to the MAC lipglass variety of glosses I was very dissapointed in this. Definitely won't buy again.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Black Tie Glossimer
rated 5 of 5
Redd 1/9/2003 3:59:00 PM

I purchased Black Tie, a high shimmer pale taupe with the faintest hint of mauve in late Dec. and have been in love with it since. I thought it would wash out my LLL complexion, but pared with a dramatic eye and "natural" blush it's great. The thick consistancy makes for impressive staying power, even when the shine has faded there's still a hint of shimmer left on your lips. I doubt I'd buy it again simply because by the time I run out the color will no longer be in fashion, there really is quite a bit of the stuff, which makes the price reasonable.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Glossimer
rated 5 of 5

I have really enjoyed discovering Glossimers. The texture surprised me, as it is much thicker than I had been expecting, and while it isn't quite sticky, it's definitly got some tack to it. The staying power is great, even when the shine has faded there's always a hint of color or shimmer left so your lips aren't left bereft. Eye Shadow -Stila - Kahlo Eye Shadow
rated 4 of 5

This is a light yellow green with nice shimmer. It's fairly sheer unless you layer it a bit, but that's what I like the most about it. It's the only green I'm able to wear without looking like a throwback to the late 50's. Wait I ammend that, I just found a Chanel green trio that looks good too.

This is a coppery shimmer peach with strong pigmentation, one swipe and it shows. It goes on really evenly and is a dream to blend. I love this color for fall.
