Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Eden
RedHairAndNeonSpirit 11/12/2012 6:38:00 PM
I got this at Nordstrom Rack for $10, quite a steal if you ask me. I heard good things about primer potions, so i figured that this "doe eyed potion" would be worth it. Firt off, this is more for someone with veiny or greasy eyelids. I have neither, so this potion gives me a block out of pale color on my tan eyelids. Awkward. This is a very good primer though, sometimes i won't put color over it and just wear it with some eyeliner. I would probably repurchase it, but it never runs out! I've had it for 3 months and i rotate it with my Sin Primer.

I actually got a full size bottle of this at Nordstrom Rack for $10, a steal! Normally it's around $20, so this was quite a find. First off, this isn't that great of a primer. I don't usually use this if i'm wearing a bold shadow that i want to stay for 12 hours. While i'm sure it'd be okay, who would want to cover up this color? It's a gorgeous champagne color that I am in love with, it's my favorite! it's super light though, so you have to layer it if you want alot of color.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Coconut Body Butter
RedHairAndNeonSpirit 11/12/2012 6:29:00 PM
At first i really like this product. The consistency was good, i loved the smell and i was obsessed with using it. After about 2 months, the consistency completely changed, not to the point that it was useless, but it's harder to spread around. I'll have to leave it in a warm room for awhile just to get it to work. I still love the smell, i like tropical smells anyway. For the price, it was pretty expensive. I think i paid $20, so i definitely wouldn't buy it again. I found an off brand of body butter at costco that works a little better than this one, and i paid $20 for four tubs of them! I'm not saying don't buy this, just be careful.
Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

I was dying to get this product since everyone was saying how soft a smooth it was. When i finally got it, I found that it really wasn't that buttery like it says. It's almost as if the sparkles make the whole product coarser. There is a ridiculous amount of glitter in this, and the formula is a bit drying if you don't reapply, but that is to be expected. i do like the color though, that's about it. The packaging is okay, the lid is very cute. I wouldn't buy this again, but it is more of a lipstick anyway.
I am utterly in love with this product. My hair is very dry from years of dyeing, but this has almost reversed it. The stylist at Ulta recommended this product since it was on sale. After using the product from mid length to ends, i got out of the shower and towel dried my hair as usual. After 5 minutes, the ends of my hair were completely dry and my hair was hard to comb. Discouraged, i couldn't wait to shower the next day since i could use my normal conditioner. I'm so glad i didn't toss this product because when my hair became fully dry, WOW. My ends were noticeably softer and shinier. Needless to say, I went back the next day to Ulta and bought 6 more bottles of it. I would recommend using it maybe twice a week, not every day. Always repurchase!
The only reason I said i would not repurchase this product is because its $50 frickin dollars! I can understand why because it is such a good product, but seriously?! Ridiculous. I really really like this palette, but I do have one complaint; When trying to do a smokey eye, these colors will absolutely not do it! I try to put dark horse on the outer corners of my eye and side car on the inner lid, and it looked horrible! There is no inbetween colors in this palette, and that does make me mad. Anyway, This is still a pretty good product, I just wouldn't buy it again
I actually like this product pretty well. The swirl of colors gives you a very pretty flush of pink, but it might make you look like a clown if you put too much on (which is very easy to do because of the awkwardly shaped brush) It's a little ridiculous for $30, so I would not buy this again. The packaging is cute with the mirror, but the ends do get raggedy easily. It smells kind of floral and fruity, not too overpowering. If you put this on right, you get this AMAZING look. I think this is a pretty good product, but it's a little over rated.
I'm not sure why this product has gotten so many negative reviews, I actually like this product. I always read reviews before buying a product, so when I get this blush I knew to get it in a darker shade. I bought it in 70 "Hot Tamale". I'm pretty medium/tan, but this blush actually shows up on me. It feels like play dough, but it does blend pretty well. The lighter pink colors will not show up because these blushes are pretty sheer, but it's good so that you don't end up looking like a clown. I'd repurchase this
I saw this product in the Seventeen magazine and thought it looked GORGEOUS on the model, so from then on I knew I had to have it. When I finally picked it up, I couldn't wait to try it. I smoothed it on, I thought it was kinda wet and oily, but maybe that's how it always was and it just had to set. After awhile, I noticed that it was really glittery without much color. Maybe I applied too much, or maybe I just didnt apply it right (I put it on with my fingers). Either way, it creased just a little bit. I don't use eye primer either, so that might be it. I'm not sure I would purchase this one again since it is not very pigmented, but its a lovely highlight color or a color that you use when you don't feel like wearing much makeup. You do get alot of product for $19, but the quality is what you have to focus on. This is a very sparkly and shimmery product, so just be cautious about that too. I have tan skin, and this did show up slightly on me, mostly just the shimmer. I would recommend this shade to girls with fairer skin. **UPDATE** I figured out that you only use this on your lids, not your whole eye/eyebrow area. The trick is to layer it and use your fingers to get this really pretty champagne color. I moved the lippy thing up to 5 lippies because I use this almost everyday.
Conditioner -Clairol - Herbal Essences-Color Me Happy

This is one of my favorite shampoo and conditioners for color treated hair. It smells so amazing and does retain your color! You should check out this product, it's worth your money
YES! The first time I used this product, I didnt see much of a difference. The second time, I saw more of a difference. The third time, I saw a BIG difference. My hair was super moisturized and soft. I dye my hair so it's usually a bit dry. I leave it in for about 8 minutes and it works wonders on my hair. You have to use this about 3 times to really see a difference. It was only $3 at Fred Meyers, and it lasts awhile. I have medium length hair and I use a palm full of this conditioner and it has lasted me awhile. Definitely would repurchase!
Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Last Lip Wear 408B Sherry Sparkle
RedHairAndNeonSpirit 1/19/2012 1:11:00 PM
This is an amazing color! I don't like wearing very bold colors since I think it makes my lips look even bigger than they are, but this one is amazing. It's this rosy color with a little bit of sparkle, and I don't mean big flakes of sparkle. I'm not sure how to describe the sparkle aspect of it, but it's still a lovely color. It does make my lips feel a little dry, so I put some lip balm on before I apply it. It was only a dollar at Rite Aid because there was a sale on it, and I saw this color and thought that it wasn't too bold so it wouldn't make me look ridiculous. I'm also not sure what shade of red would look good on me anyway, so this was my best bet. I have tan skin, and this color still looks good. I was hoping for more of a matte color because I'm not in the pearly lips look, but this lipstick is an exception for me, kind of. Definitely a good lipstick for beginning lipstick users, or just when you don't feel like wearing too much makeup. It's cheap so if you don't like it (which I can't understand why you wouldn't), you've only lost a dollar.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Forever Sunshine

I have the body lotion of this and it smells SO GOOD! I wore this every time I went out during the summer it I associate it with so many things that happened. It smells a bit like a smoker if you put too much on, but if you put the right amount, it's amazing. It's smells like sunshine, flowers, and all things summer:) It's good for teenagers and young adults, maybe a bit much for anyone older than that. It reminds me of oranges and flowers, and everytime I wear it, it takes me back to the summer I wore it. Definitely a good buy!
I used this product in that Cherry Brown color on my sister. The foam itself was easy to apply, but I feel like it didn't saturate the hair. After leaving it on and then washing it out with the conditioner, I could already see that the color really didn't show up. I do not recommend this product if you want a bright color, maybe if you wanted to dye your hair black but thats it. They don't have a great range, maybe 3 red colors and then 10 different shades of blonde. I wouldn't buy this product again, it's also a little pricey since it is John Freida.
I got the Essence Silky Touch Blush in Baby Doll. This is my favorite blush, it's so easy to blend and apply. It really is silky touch, its soft and smooth even after 20 uses. It was only $1.50 or something, and it has lasted me more than 6 months. I don't use it everyday, but I think it would last you quite awhile even if you did. It's a really cute pink that would fit most skin tones, but if you just want a subtler peach, they have that too. I think it comes in 3 different shades, so whatever fits you they probably have. I've seen Essence being sold at Fred Meyer now, so it's like a drug store brand.
