Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche Caresse "Cherry Tulle"
Rebecca34 2/3/2013 1:09:00 PM
Safe red for my fair skin. I like that this is sheer and moisturizing but still gives more color than a red gloss would. I have neutral skin and this is not too warm or cool for me. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it is not very long lasting. Other than that, I have no complaints!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche in Sea Fleur

I am pale and neutral to yellow toned, yet somehow this shade is extremely flattering on me. It's bright and bold and even though I typically look better in more subdued, natural lip products, this one works! It's a bright hot violet-pink color that contrasts well with my fair skin. I'm not surprised this has so many positive reviews on this site.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Naked Palette
Rebecca34 9/2/2012 3:55:00 PM
I've owned this palette for over 2 years and I have been using it on and off ever since I got it. This (and Naked 2) are my go-to neutral palettes any time I need to wear neutral shadow. A few of the shades don't work well for me, but there are others that I love! The gray shades don't work well for me but grays rarely do with my coloring. The glittery shade - Sidecar - is glittery than I like for my shadows to be. I don't mind shimmer, but glitter is too much as I get closer to being 40 y/o. However, there are some shades I really love. I love how Toasted and Hustle both have a little bit of a purple undertone. They work really well with my green eyes. Half-Baked is in a ton of UD palettes but it's actually one of my favorite golds. I also like to use the two matte browns - Naked and Buck - when I do a very subtle neutral eye. And Virgin makes a great shade for the browbone and inner corner of the eyes. I've had this palette a long time so mine came with the double ended pencil. I like to keep it in my purse to touch up my eyeliner as needed between a long day of work and an evening out. It's great to have Zero (basic black) and Whiskey (medium-dark, matte brown) on one pencil. I've got to say this is one of my favorite palettes. I've reached for it again and again since I got it 2 summers ago.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 eyeliner in Demolition
Rebecca34 9/2/2012 12:45:00 PM
Awesome dark brown liner - dark, matte, not too red-toned. This is the dark brown color that I was hoping to get from Bourbon, Whiskey and Corrupt. However while I like each of these, they were all either too light or two red-toned for my coloring. I'm so happy that Urban Decay made this a full sized permanent color (earlier this year?). It's my go-to dark brown eyeliner when I want something other than black or a dark color. It works well with my fair skin, light brown hair, and greenish-hazel eyes. I like to use it with gold and brown shadows and lots of black mascara.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24/7 eyeliner in Rockstar
Rebecca34 9/2/2012 11:54:00 AM
One of my favorites of the Urban Decay 24/7 Liners. This is a deep, matte, eggplant purple. I have greenish-hazel eyes and this color makes them look even more green. I like darker eyeliners for the contrast they provide and this color is deep enough to do that. It's a nice alternative to using black or a darker brown without being too obviously colorful for work situations. I have most of the Urban Decay 24/7 liners and many from other brands but this one is definitely a favorite for my eye color and skin tone.

Polishes -Essie - Watermelon

I agree with the other reviews that this is a great color for toes. It gives a good amount of color with only 1-2 coats, applies evenly, and is a great pink-red color for summer.

Blush -Maybelline - FIT ME/light pink
Rebecca34 5/30/2012 12:52:00 PM
This actually works well for me. I bought this because I'm trying to find drugstore makeup that works well for me so I don't spend so much on higher end makeup. I am really pale - lighter than the lightest shade of most foundations pale so I like that this isn't super pigmented. It gave me a soft pink flush on my cheeks without looking like I'm trying to use blush to look less pale. While my favorite light pink blush is Benefit's Dandelion, this is a cheaper, decent alternative for me. I only took off a lippie because it doesn't last as long on my skin as a higher end blush does.

Bronzers -Too Faced - Milk Chocolate Soleil
Rebecca34 4/23/2012 7:48:00 PM
I love this! I am very pale and this is the first bronzer that actually works consistently well with my skin. It doesn't make my face look dirty or muddy like so many other darker bronzers do. It also doesn't turn me orange. It looks like I naturally got a little sun although for me natural sun = sunburn :) Anyway, if I could tan, I think it would be this color. I also like that this is matte. I have a couple of other light bronzers that work decently for me but they have shimmer. This gives me a matte option that I can use in the daytime without looking too glittery. If you are very fair skinned, I recommend you try this. I almost didn't buy it because I was afraid of getting another "muddy" bronzer but I'm so glad I gave it a try!

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - Candy Apple
Rebecca34 4/23/2012 7:42:00 PM
A great red for my coloring! It's a warm toned orangey red that contrasts nicely with my neutral to warm toned fair skin. I like that this is sheer so it isn't overpoweringly red and can be worn in most situations.

Lips -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter in Peach Parfait
Rebecca34 4/23/2012 7:37:00 PM
This shade works well for me. Since I have fair skin that is neutral to warm toned, this is a MLBB shade for me. It's one I can apply without a mirror so I can keep it in my pocket for touch-ups throughout the day. I like how all the lip butters are moisturizing like balms but have some sheer color to them as well.

Palettes -Too Faced - Romantic Eye
Rebecca34 4/22/2012 2:01:00 PM
I own 4 of Too Faced's palettes and this one probably has the most variety in shadow colors. There are 3 different "looks" you can do with this palette. The top row has very neutral, subtle shadows. Even the darkest shade is not overly dramatic. The middle row contains shadows to do a purple based eye look. This row would probably work best for neutral to cool toned people. However, even though I have neutral coloring that leans warm, this row works great with my mostly green eyes! The bottom row is more gold and warm toned and reminds me of some of the colors in the Natural and Naked Eye palettes. The gold shadow however is beautiful! I like how this palette has a variety of colors and a nice balance of matte and shimmery shadows. I find myself reaching for this palette often simply because of its versatility.

Palettes -Too Faced - Natural at Night
Rebecca34 4/22/2012 1:46:00 PM
I've had this palette for a few months but I used it today and remembered how much I like it! It has mostly medium to dark toned neutral shadows that go on fairly sheer so you can build the color to the level you want. I am very pale and dark brown shadows don't work for me so at first this palette seemed a little intimidating. However, I gave it a try and the shadows apply very sheer and can be built to the level you want. The colors are mostly browns but there is an ivory shade (spotlight) and a greenish shade (moon stone). In addition, the middle row of colors seems to lean a little to the cooler side - hard to describe exactly but maybe they are a bit plum toned? Overall though these are pretty shadows. Most are shimmery but not overly so. A few are a bit glittery and 2 are completely matte. This is a nice palette with a good range of brown based neutrals in a variety of finishes.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Vanilla Bean Noel Body Lotion
Rebecca34 4/18/2012 9:00:00 PM
My favorite BBW vanilla scent. It has a sweet caramel note along with the vanilla. The moisture from this lotion is average and there are other brands with better textures. However the scent of this makes it worth a re-purchase for me.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dandelion
Rebecca34 4/18/2012 8:55:00 PM
Great color for pale skin tones! This gives me subtle pink cheeks on days when I just want a bit of color. I agree with others about the brush. I prefer to apply this with a big fluffy blush brush. The brush included seems too firm to me.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Benetint
Rebecca34 4/8/2012 12:16:00 PM
It was difficult for me to use this as a blush because it seems to dry so quickly on me. However, this is awesome as a lip stain. I apply this is several layers to my lips and it gives them a nice, sheer red stain. I then apply gloss or balm and when those wear off later, I still have a nice stain to my lips. So if this doesn't work for other people as a blush, try it on your lips. I gave it a high rating based on that.
