Shampoo -LUSH - Rehab Shampoo

To start with, my hair is dry and damaged ( gone brown with dark blond highlights from black!). This shampoo needs to be well shaked before applying, because it contains some oils. I like the smell - it reminds me of minty sweets. It lathers and cleans very well, so I usually use it after I oil my hair (coconut oil). I would call it a deep cleansing shampoo, it will easily remove any residue of styling products if you use any. However, it leaves my hair very coarse and dry, so I always must use some deep conditioner after washing my hair with Rehab. I wont repurchase, because it is just something not really suitable for dry and dyed hair (unless you only use it ocassionally, when you feel so-called build up of products or silicones.) And this shampoo is overpriced for what it does. On a positive note - it lasts ages.

Masks -Clarins - Pure and Radiant Mask with Pink Clay

It claims: 'This mask comforts and purifies, refines the skin's texture and leaves it matte and ultra soft. Non-drying, it rinses off easily and is suitable for even the most delicate skin' First thing about this mask, it is the price, which is 20 pounds. 20 pounds for a clay based mask? For 20 pounds I have expected it to be more effective. It does not clean pores, I do not experience this feeling of purified skin which I normally feel after using a purifying mask. Three good things about it - it is really non-drying, the smell is ok ( but I must admit I generally like the smell of Clarins products, I know many people find their fragrances a bit too much) and it leaves your skin soft and moisturised. The problem is that you do not really buy a cleansing, oil controlling mask to moisturise your skin.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Revlon Orofluido - Beauty Elixir

This is my HG. My hairdresser is very picky about haircare products. When she used this oil on my hair I was absolutely amazed. The product is expensive, but it will literally last ages, because you only need to apply a little drop. As people already mentioned, it smells gorgeous - amber and vanilla. I wish the smell lasted longer, but it does not. It does contain silicones - so it is not the product for those who avoid it ( thats why it is so easy to apply and the texture is really silky). I apply it on wet hair (I only blow dry when in hurry) and let them dry naturally. My hair is very silky, manageable, shiny and looks healthier. Even my mother who is not really interested in hair care products noticed the difference and started to use Orofluido herself. I have also tried their shampoo, it is good (nothing extra special though, but I do not expect much of shampoo, all it has to do is to clean and not to leave my haire extra dry) I hope the luxurious effect is not just because the silicones make hair look better, but these oils actually work too...
