Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

I love these eye shadows! I picked this up at my local Walgreens for around $4.99. I like the browns a little more than the greens ( I haven't figured out a way to make the greens look good on me). I like the texture of the shadows and I don't get much fall out. I usually wear matte shadows and this is one of the only shimmer palettes that I own. I get many compliments when I wear the more neutral shades. If you are wondering if I would buy this again the answer is yes. I mean you cant beat 8 amazingly pigmented eye shadows for $4.99. I like these eye shadows more than some of the higher end eye shadows I own.

Liquid -Christian Dior - Diorskin Airflash
RancidRabbit 12/3/2011 11:10:00 PM
I was really excited when I purchased the DiorSkin Airflash Spray foundation. I heard nothing but good things about it. At first I thought this was going to be my HOLY GRAIL foundation and it turns out I was terribly wrong. The foundation comes in only five shades so I bought the lightest one which is #200 Light Beige. Im very fair so and the swatch online seemed to match my skin tone perfect. The way you use the product is to hold it a few inches away from your face and spray in "Z" shaped motion. (Be sure to close your eyes!) When I tried it i followed the instructions exactly and when I opened my eyes to see how it came out. I was a completely different color than my skin. I was a yellowy orange color. Like I mentioned before my skin is very fair and the shade of the product changed my skin tone totally. I had to get a second opinion on the shade so I asked my mom her thoughts on it and she said I looked orange! When I swatch the color on the back of my hand it looks ok not to bad but when its on my face that's a different story. I did like the coverage of the product...kinda. I felt that it dried a bit weird and looked a bit cakey I tried applying it with a brush to control the product better but to no avail. I still looked orange-y. I wont be buying this product again. Not only was the shade not my color but the price is $60-$62 on Sephora's website. The concept is awesome but sadly on my part the product was a failure for me. Did anyone have a good or bad experience with this product? If so let me know! I would love to hear everyone's thoughts! -Andi

Blush -Urban Decay - Afterglow Glide On Cheek Tint
RancidRabbit 11/29/2011 12:06:00 PM
I love Urban Decay products so when I got my hands on Urban Decays Afterglow Glide On Cheek Tint in Bang I seriously could not wait to use it! I don't know why but for some reason I chose the color Bang which happens to be a neon orange color. I normally wear pink blushes since I'm really pale so this was a huge change for me. I applied it with my finger tips and I thought the color was a bit too strong for my skin tone. So I was a little disappointed. Later I got an idea to apply the blush with a stippling brush and it came out amazing! This is my everyday blush! When I would wear cream blushes in the past they would fade within a few hours and I would have to reapply. I do not have that problem with UD's Glide On Cheek Tint. It takes a long while to fade or come off completely. Even when it starts to fade the color still looks so pretty. I read a lot of reviews on the shades Quickie and Fetish but hardly any on Bang. I think Bang would look nice on all skin tones. I'm very light skinned and when I showed my aunt my new blush she was totally freaked out and told me that was meant for someone with a much darker skin tone. Like it mentioned before this is now my everyday blush. I'm so pleased with how it looks on my skin. I used to use MAC cremeblush in Posey every single day but I had several issues with it. So all in all I love this blush. Its sheer so you can build the color if necessary. I love the packaging its a bright purple compact with a silver snake on the top with a mirror inside. The only problem i have with this is that its $24. Which is kind of expensive but in a way its worth it because a little does go along way. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this product. Let me know if it worked for you or if it didn't and how you felt about it. If you have any questions let me know! I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for reading!
