Gels/Soaps -Johnson & Johnson - Johnson & Johnson MilkBath
rated 4 of 5

This milkbath smells so lovely. To my nose, the smell is a combination of baby scent and mild floral scent. It doesn't dry out my skin. Easy to rinse off. And the pump packaging is so convenient and economical. It doesn't lather well, though. Overall, I love it and will continue to purchase.

Cleansers -Garnier - Soft Complete Cleansing Milk
rated 4 of 5
Ramindra 1/29/2007 10:16:00 AM

Agree with all the positive reviews here but I just have one thing to add. It said both on the Garnier website and the bottle that this cleansing milk takes off face and eye makeup. Well, it removes my face makeup and water-proof sunscreen alright but it barely removes my eye makeup. Therefore I can only give this four lippies. Overall, I love this cleanser and will repurchase if I could find it. It's a pity that Garnier doesn't seem to carry "Clean & Soft" range here in Thailand (I bought mine from one drugstore in Melbourne).

Mascara -Fasio - power-stay mascara 3D plus Air Tech curl long in Brown
rated 5 of 5
Ramindra 1/7/2007 12:05:00 PM

I bought this mascara according to the reviews here and I'm so glad I did. It does not smudge at all even in hot humid weather. I once cried with this mascara on and my lashes were still the same. Also, it really lengthens my lashes and they look so natural. In terms of removing, I don't think it's hard to remove. I just use normal baby oil and my lashes are already cleansed. Therefore, I will definitely be repurchasing. Thank you ladies!

Gels/Soaps -Yves Rocher - Fraicheur Vegetale - Green Tea Revitalizing Body Wash
rated 3 of 5
Ramindra 1/6/2007 1:04:00 PM

I like this gel as it can be used as a shower gel and a shampoo. It doesn't dry out my skin and doesn't leave a film. It also causes no problem to my fine straight hair. Now to the downside, the flip-top cap is so hard to open and I don't care for the scent. Yes, it's minty and fresh but it's not something I expected. Overall, I won't repurchase.

Blush -Bloom - Sheer Color Cream

I have this in "Rouge". Although it looks like a very dark red in the pot, it gives me a pinky red flush on my tanned asian skin. Love it.

Lotions/ Creams -Dove - Body Silk
rated 4 of 5

This is my favorite out of all 16 moisturizers I own. The scent is so divine. I wish they made perfume in this scent. The cream is very light and not greasy at all. Applying this moisturizer all over my body before bedtime is one of my ideas of pampering myself. For some reason, It's like I'm treating myself at a spa. The only downside I can think of this cream is that it doesn't moisturize enough for my super dry elbow and feet. That's not a problem as I have other moisturizers to take care of that department. Will definitely repurchase.

Gels/Soaps -Bath and Body Works - Sun-Ripened Raspberry Shower Gel
rated 2 of 5
Ramindra 7/11/2006 10:33:00 AM

This shower gel lathers pretty well and doesn't dry my skin out. Unfortunately, it leaves a greasy film on my skin. And VERY hard to rinse off. In addition, the scent is kinda generic and sickly sweet. One of my bad shower experiences. Luckily, I got it as a gift. Won't use it again.

Gels/Soaps -Yves Rocher - Fraicheur Vegetale - Green Tea Revitalizing Body Wash
rated 3 of 5
Ramindra 7/11/2006 5:55:00 AM

I agree with other reviewers about the good quality of this shower gel. It lathers well. Doesn't dry out my skin. Doesn't leave a film. Rinse well. Can also be used as a shampoo which doesn't dry out my dry hair at all. Plus, it's so cheap too. Unfortunately, I don't like the scent. Maybe it's just me that I prefer green tea scent with a little bit of "sweetness". I probably like artificial green tea scent. Therefore, this is too herbal and masculine to me. In addition, the packaging could be improved since the cap is really hard to open. Will not repurchase.

Gels/Soaps -Yves Rocher - Jardins Du Monde - Polynesian Tiare Flower Shower Gel
rated 5 of 5
Ramindra 7/11/2006 5:37:00 AM

This shower gel smells great. To my nose, the scent is quite true to the real scent of the flower. I live in the tropics so I'm quite familiar with this flower. It lathers well. Doesn't dry out my skin. And a little seems to go a long way. The only thing that I don't like is the packaging. The flip-top cap is really hard to open. I almost break my nails everytime I try to open it. Pricewise, the gel is very cheap and they always have 50% discount, so I think it's a great buy. May repurchase.

Cleansers -Jurlique - Ultra Sensitive Face Wash
rated 5 of 5
Ramindra 7/11/2006 4:11:00 AM

Product Description from the Jurlique Website: "A gentle, non-drying cleanser suitable for ultra-sensitive skin that cleanses, balances and moisturises your skin, leaving it feeling soft, fresh and radiant. Ultra-Sensitive Face Wash is not high-foaming, yet has a highly effective cleansing action."----------My comments: I have combination, blackhead-prone skin but this face wash (which is meant for people with dry, ultra-sensitive skin) does not aggravate my problem at all. The scent is pleasant, kind of herbal to my nose. This milky cleanser hardly foams but I feel like my face and neck is thoroughly clean yet still soft. But some people who like the feeling of "squeaky clean" may not like this product. Pricewise, from the Jurlique website it costs AUD$45. Pretty steep but you don't need much for one use. I like it very much that I will likely buy it after I finish this bottle I got from my boyfriend.----------Ingredients: Aqua (Water); Cocamidopropyl Betaine; Macadamia ternifolia seed Oil; Glyceryl Cocoate; Xanthan Gum; Lithospermum erythrorhizon (Groomwell) Root Extract; Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride; Zanthoxylum alatum (Sichuan Peppercorn) Extract; Oleyl Alcohol; Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) Oil; Hydroxy methylglycinate; Lactac Acid; Lecithin; Chamomilla recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil; Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil; Linalool.

Skincare - Body -Jurlique - Japanese Mint Body Oil
rated 5 of 5
Ramindra 7/11/2006 2:53:00 AM

At first I didn't like this body oil. The scent reminded me of Chinese herbal balm which is not very appealing that I almost return it but I wanted to give it one more try and I'm glad I did. Now the scent grows on me. It is so divine and relaxing. My boyfriend can't stand it, though. Anyway, this body oil is not greasy at all on my skin. I usually apply it on both of my wrist. It helps me get to sleep every time I'm stressed out. Now I can't be without it. Pricewise, I bought it at Jurlique Day Spa for AUD$27. Pretty steep but I think it's a good investment as (like the first reviewer stated) it's a dropping bottle so a little goes a long way. Love it. Will repurchase again and again.

Gels/Soaps -Artistry - spa collection
rated 5 of 5
Ramindra 7/9/2006 5:04:00 PM

I first used it in the cool season and didn't like the scent. But now it's so hot and humid and this pink shower gel is like a godsend for me especially after my morning exercise. For some reason, this grapefruit scent grows on me, it is so refreshing. Does not leave a film on my skin. And you don't need much-just a dollop, I think. The packaging is a transparent plastic tube with a flip-top cap so it's convinient to use. The price is pretty expensive, though. Can't remember it but I think it's around 13-15 bucks. Still, I will continue to repurchase this product again and again. Love it.

I have this in Amber Peach. The color is slightly pinky peach. Gives me a nice flush on my tanned asian skin and a little goes a long way. Nice.

Treatments (Eye) -Eucerin - Q10 Active Eye Cream
rated 3 of 5
Ramindra 7/9/2006 3:35:00 PM

This eye cream does not irritate my sensitive eyes at all. I really like the texture and the way it glides on. It's light yet moisturizing. Doesn't seem to do much for the fine lines though. If you just want to moisturize your eye area, this would be the product for you.

This shower gel smells heavenly. The scent makes me feel like I'm in a spa. It's so refreshing. The gel lathers well. Doesn't dry out my dry skin. And the scent lingers. Plus, the price is dirt cheap. It's superb. Will be repurchasing.
