Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Galderma - Epiduo (aka Tactuo in Canada)

First of all, I would like to say that this is for people who have persistent acne that will not go away. As in, not your run of the mill teen zits. This is for people who go to their dermatologist asking for some sort of miracle to save their face. My acne didn't get bad until I was 20 and then nothing I did helped. I went to a dermatologist as a last resort, and he prescribed me Epiduo. At first, it made my skin worse for a solid 2 months, but then after that I saw improvement. It did dry out my skin and turn it red, but that could be fixed with some Cetaphil moisturizer. It is not cheap to say the least, but do NOT leave your dermatologist without the Epiduo Gel Instant Advantage Card because that may bring the price down about 200 bucks.

Eyes -Ardell - Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator Treatment Gel

I bought this stuff online because I couldn't find it in the store. It helped with filling in my eyebrows from over plucking. I've been using this with Women's Rogaine trying to fill in gaps in my eyebrows. I've seen an increase in growth, but not in the exact spot I need it to be. I'll keep trying...

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Unstoppable Eyeliner
rated 3 of 5
Rage 1/27/2011 4:44:00 PM

This does not seem Unstoppable to me. It stays for a couple hours and then it migrates down my face. My face isn't oily or anything of that sort, but it still lacked staying power. It was easy to apply.

I bought the Hoof Shield Top Coat. It work's great on my nails. It makes my nails less weak and helps keep them from shredding at the tip.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
rated 5 of 5
Rage 1/27/2011 4:19:00 PM

This is THE face wash to use. I've struggled with acne in my late teens and twenties. I've used prescription strength creams and the like. My dermatologist recommended that I try Cetaphil. Cetaphil is the best cleanser for me. Maybe it's the Yaz as well, but I saw a definite change in my complexion for the better with the cleanser as well as the moisturizer. I refuse to go back to any other brand for my face for skin care. I also add a tiny bit of baking soda with the cleanser to exfoliate and eat away the dead skin so that I am left with smoother clean and non-irritated skin. I recommend this.

Eyeliner -E.L.F. - Liquid Eyeliner - Black
rated 2 of 5
Rage 1/27/2011 4:15:00 PM

If you are in a pinch and don't have the 6-7 bucks to buy a better eyeliner than go ahead. However, this eyeliner is not good. The design of the bottle is poor and wastes a lot of the liquid, and the brush is terrible. I bought this because I wanted something cheap and well it was cheap. Staying power is not good either. I don't recommend you purchase this in the future. Maybe a different brush would make all the difference, but I will not buy this in the future.

Gels/Soaps -Dove - Pro Age Body Wash
rated 5 of 5
Rage 1/27/2011 4:04:00 PM

I was so distraught to discover that this has been discontinued. I'm very low maintenance and just use whatever I have lying around. The deep burgundy bottle is a pretty color and the body wash is creamy and smells fresh and clean. It's the most moisturizing body wash I've found! I have dry skin, some eczema on my upper arms. This didn't irritate it at all. I ended up adding baking soda to the body wash and it made my skin extra smooth. Baking soda pretty much exfoliates as well as eats away dead skin on the surface allowing moisturizer to go where it needs to. I now need to find a good substitute for this stuff!

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Earthly Body - Miracle Oil
rated 3 of 5
Rage 1/27/2011 4:00:00 PM

I just bought the Earthly Body Miracle Oil to see if it works. I'm using it on old scars and stretchmarks as well as my dry scalp. It smells like tea tree oil, but is super moisturizing. It's cheaper than Mederma, so let's see how it holds up.

Masks -Got 2 Be - In Your Face Pure Intent Clay Masque
rated 1 of 5
Rage 7/5/2008 11:35:00 AM

This was horrible. I used the masque let it dry and rinsed. My face was then quite dry. I wake up the next day with a burned face, red where ever I applied the masque. I guess I am allergic. Last time I use this product for I did not like explaining to people why I was not burned around my eyes, but the rest of my face was.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Roller Color - Make a Move Mauve
rated 4 of 5
Rage 2/23/2005 6:18:00 PM

I got this at Dollar Tree so it wasn't much of a risk. At first it was difficult to roll ,but as I used it up, it got easier to use. It does not have much staying power, but I use it almost everyday. Just have to check for glitter sparkles by noon on my cheeks. It has a pretty good pink color, I use a shadow under it because it is very light and somewhat translucent.
