I have finally found my "Holy Grail" champagne color! I absolutely love neutral shimmery colors , my fav go to look for eyeshadows is usually neutrals (the naked 2 palette is my favorite and most used) so this is very refreshing. When I swatched it on my hand, I couldn't believe how pigmented it was with just one swipe and no primer. The way the light reflected off of the beautiful luminescent flecks mesmerized me ! I immediately tossed it in my bag. The texture of the eyeshadow is also SO buttery and smooth, omgsh it's amazing but I am going to be extra careful with it so it doesn't break. Love love love! Never found a color like this.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - Watt's Up!
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 6/13/2013 9:04:00 PM

I am a Beauty Insider at Sephora, and when I went in recently to purchase a bunch of treats for my upcoming photoshoots. My birthday is June 26th, so I also got my birthday gift. I was super excited when I got a little Benefit Duo because I really do love Benefit's products. I got "Watt's Up?" and "They're Real!" I tried them both out right away and loved them. The mascara really is awesome but I love Watt's Up even more! I am generally not a fan of liquid/creme anything unless it's creme eyeshadows or primer. This has defied that for me. This is the most gorgeous creamy lovely champagne colored highlighter. It is very smooth and creamy , it almost melts onto your skin. I have never been able to use a creme product while I had foundation/powder on without it looking cakey and gross and taking off my other products. Not with this stuff! I popped it right onto my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, upper lip and blended it all out with my finger and "patted" and it blended in seamlessly with the rest of my foundation and powder without affecting it at all! It blended right in almost as if I put it on with everything else at the same time - which is such a WIN! Yay! The SA at Sephora also told me you could put this on top of your lipstick and I am def going to try that :) I also love that it dries to a "powder" finish. This is a really subtle highlighter yet packs a punch!

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational Vivids - Electric Orange
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 6/10/2013 6:17:00 PM

I absolutely love this whole "Vivid's" Color Line. The lipsticks are pigmented, creamy, and apply on the lips very even and smooth. This specific color is absolutely amazing - I have been on the hunt for an orange lipstick for awhile but nothing I found had that vibrant color to it like this does. Not to mention this is very opaque. I only need 3 swipes and I have a very solid color. This looks great on my NC20-NC25 skin tone. It really brings life to my face. For 6$ this is a steal. Such a unique lovely color.

Concealers -Kat Von D - Tattoo Concealer
rated 4 of 5
RachelisGreen 6/6/2013 2:07:00 AM

I am the concealer queen - let's just put it like that. I have tried the best of the best concealers Mac Studio Finish, Sheer Cover, NYX Hd Concealer Wand, Hard Candy Glamoflauge, Sonia Kashuk, etc etc etc. My personal Holy Grail is MAC's Pro Longwear Concealer. It truly is amazing, especially for under eye circles because it doesn't crease. This is def my second HG concealer. I love Kat Von D's Lock It foundation; it's my new Holy Grail. This concealer is really fantastic. It is so creamy and moist. It doesn't have as much coverage as my Prolong Wear Concealer (I'd consider that a full coverage concealer) and even though the Tattoo Concealer is supposed to cover tattoos I'd say it's only medium buildable to full coverage. I love that it's creamy because it doesn't cake up over dry skin and acne. I also can use this as a foundation! When I'm out doing stuff and I don't have time to do my foundation I can slap this on literally blend it with my fingers and my skin looks really good. Granted, it's not flawless like with the Kat Von D foundation but it's much better than my natural skin and covers up all my acne - considering it IS a concealer. I couldn't really do that with MAC's Studio Finish Concealer because it's so thick. I really love this stuff! It's definitely my top 2nd concealer of all time. I am an NC25ish maybe on the darker side of NC-20 and I use Light 18 (I also wear L 48 in the Lock It Kat Von D foundation). Bottom line is, this concealer is amazing. It has multiple uses and is very long lasting. :) I wore it ALONE, without any powder while I was sweating my ass off in 90 degree weather while it was extremely humid outside and my skin was barely sweaty and not shiny at all. I barely patted my nose dry with a kleenex and it looked perfectly matte! This stuff rocks.

Liquid -Kat Von D - Lock-It
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 6/5/2013 11:35:00 PM

I have been researching extensively on this foundation. I was using my Holy Grail - the MAC Prolong Wear Foundation but I recently had surgery so I can't go tanning anymore and my skin tone changed dramatically. My foundation was now much too dark on me. Instead of re-upping on the MAC foundation I decided that I had done enough research to convince me to get Kat Von D's Lock It. I went to Sephora and the SA was extremely helpful. I sat down and I had absolutely no foundation on so I could get the right match. I was matched with L-48 . I am a NC25ish right now and it's still a little bit too light for me but I just use a darker powder and a lot of bronzer to warm it up lol..Anyways, I am a HUGE fan of Kat Von D & L.A Ink - I am super tatted up and I am from California. Needless to say, I was ecstatic to try this out and purchase it for the first time. The packaging is absolutely divine. I really do love it, it is so sleek and chic and sexy - not to mention there is a pump! And, it's an air pump so it's not gonna waste as much product. I tried it a few days ago and it was disgustingly hot outside, not to mention humid and even without foundation on I was sweating like a pig. I was kind of scared to try out the lasting power of this since I was already so dang hot. I put my Benefit's Porefessional Primer on and pumped out one pump of the foundation. The consistency of this foundation is very thick but almost whipped, it's very hard to describe, but it seems like magical fairies hand crafted the formula themselves. It really is unlike any liquid foundation I have ever used and I almost thought that because it was so thick it was going to be hard to blend. I was completely wrong. This foundation blends seamlessly. I used only ONE pump, (and believe me I am a FULL COVERAGE flawless foundation everyday kind of girl) and dotted it all over my face. I had to use a bit more for my neck but I could not believe the small amount and the outstanding coverage it provided. I use my Eco Tools Flat Top Kabuki Brush to blend it all out and stippled everything all over my face - I didn't drag, I stippled. That is the trick to making it blend and keeping it flawless. I can't believe how easy it was to blend out - especially because it is a thick formula. I am SO impressed with how easily this blended out and how fast it became flawless unlike other foundations where I spend 20 mins just making it all even etc. Another crazy thing about this stuff is that it does not feel heavy WHATSOEVER. I'm telling you, it felt like I had no make up on. I swear this stuff is as fluffy and light as a marshmallow. I have never had such amazing coverage. Aside from my very slight dark circles, all my of my blemishes were gone. What blemishes? What acne scars? What hyper-pigmentation? I used this in conjunction with the Kat Von D Tattoo Concealer. I love the concealer as much as I love the foundation and it's even lighter and creamier than the foundation. I used my Milani Even Tone Powder Foundation is Fresco and it sets everything. My face looked seamless, I felt like a movie star. My best friend said my face looked more natural and has even better coverage than my beloved MAC Prolong Wear Foundation. I still love my MAC Prolongwear Concealer (esp for under the eyes) but this foundation has stolen 1st place in my heart. Also, this stuff LASTS ALL DAY. I was driving in 85 degree humid Seattle Summer weather and when I started to sweat it almost stayed in place ? It was so weird, but it didn't affect my foundation in the slightest. I even slept with it on last night and when I woke up it was just as good as the day before. Do yourself a HUGE favor and try this out! Also - the trick to this stuff is LESS IS MORE! This is STRONG stuff and highly pigmented but it is definitely build-able and doesn't cake up. Thank you Kat Von D !!!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Laid In Montana Emu Oil
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/27/2013 4:13:00 PM

Hello HOLY GRAIL miracle product of all time. Emu Oil is seriously what I am calling my miracle oil because it has so many different ways to use it and it works so effing good. It seriously is miraculous and I thank the good lord for Emu's. I first discovered Emu Oil after I got my belly button pierced. I was discussing my concerns with my piercer because I have already had my navel pierced twice and each time it got super infected and rejected the piercing. She was raving about Emu Oil and said it worked on the nastiest infected piercings and almost fully guaranteed that if I used Emu Oil it would fully heal. I was skeptical but I took home my free little bottle and used 2-3 times a day as instructed. Along with my sea salt cleaning regimen my piercing has never looked better. It isn't red or infected whatsoever and it looks very healthy. I began to research online what else I could use Emu Oil for and I was very excited with what I found. It's good on fresh tattoos, piercings (obviously lol), Eczema, Acne / Redness (hallelujah), Dry Skin, etc. I was stoked because I had a HUGE cystic pimple...I swear there were like three pimples in one pore because I have never had a pimple that big in my entire life. I used my extractor to try to drain it out so I could reduce the enormous size (it seriously took up a good portion of my cheek) and it only made it worse. Not only did my cystic nightmare fill up with even more fluid, but it got even bigger and became a disgusting infected yellow scab. I put my typical spot treatment on it with 10 % benzoyl peroxide and it did absolutely nothing except for make it more dry, red, and irritated. Devastated by the mountain on my face I gave Emu Oil a shot. I slathered some on and fell asleep. The next day my pimple was literally reduced by like 89% and the inflammation was completely gone. It wasn't red and gross looking anymore and was starting to look more like a regular, smaller scab. I was literally ASTONISHED. I have never in my entire life had a pimple that big and inflamed disappear literally overnight, and believe me girlfriend- I have tried it all. I dabbed a bit more on the next night before I went to bed and when I woke up it was almost as if it didn't exist. The scab/pimple literally evaporated and all that remained was a chunk of dry skin that I removed easily and when the dry skin was gone all that remained was a SMOOTH, flat surface that was a tiny bit lighter then the rest of my face. I didn't even have a post acne mark. WTF?! I have officially found my miracle product. When I put this on my acne/redness/eczema it honestly evaporates within a couple of days. I put this on my fresh tattoo and it healed twice as fast then it does when I used A & D or Neosporin. The best part about it is that Emu Oil doesn't clog my pores like A & D or Neosporin and is actually good for pimples! When I use the Neosporin I always get pimples wherever I put it, even on my arm and especially on my tattoo. I can't stop raving about this stuff, and my boyfriend honestly said he is sick of hearing me say Emu Oil, hahahaha. Try it for yourself! You will become a believer. I purchased my bottle at Super Supplements , a half ounce for 7$. Deals!

Eyes -MAC - blonde streak pressed pigment
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/27/2013 3:29:00 PM

I love this pressed pigment. The color is so beautiful and I honestly don't usually bother with loose glitters/pigments so this is absolutely perfect. I can't wear this unless I use a glitter glue with it, or else it seriously get all over your face and you will look like a disco ball. The MAC s/a used it on me with fix plus to create a "foiled" look and although it was gorgeous it definitely didn't stick to my lids. The only thing I have found that works is Too Faced's Glitter Glue - it's 20$ but seriously it will last you forever and ever because you really don't need a lot. I suggest you do your eyeshadow as usual and then put the glitter glue over your lid color / inner corner and Voila. It looks gorgeous and it stays in place !

Bath Treatments -LUSH - Sunny Side Bubble Bar
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/24/2013 2:14:00 PM

This was one of my first purchases from LUSH, and I have got to say I am incredibly impressed with their store! It really is amazing. I love that everything is hand crafted, all the different lotions/bath bombs/facial masks etc. I am absolutely mesmerized by their products and LOVE the idea of a "bubble bar". I also got two bath bombs, but I was super excited to try this. I LOVE glitter and I love gold so I couldn't wait to lay in a pool of liquid gold. I was staying in a hotel, so I had a Jacuzzi tub and that really helped the bubbles form. I love how soft the water felt. Definitely amazing, but doesn't leave you covered in glitter. I don't really know much about the clean up or if it makes your tub dirty because I used this at a hotel.

Makeup Brushes -Sigma - F15 Duo Fibre Powder/Blush
rated 4 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/23/2013 8:24:00 PM

I like this brush blush. I typically use an angled blush brush or MAC's 187 Stippling Brush, but this is pretty good. I use this for my MAC blush in "Peaches" which is a Sheer Tone blush but it's still pretty pigmented, & this really applies the blush beautifully. It's really sheer which I love because I prefer a natural flush, especially since I do a pretty dark & dramatic contour.

Blush -MAC - Sheertone Blush in Peaches
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/19/2013 2:01:00 AM

I've never been a big blush girl, solely because I hate pinky blushes. Especially since I have a more olive complexion (NC30-NC35) but this is definitely the exception. This is absolutely gorgeous, I could wear this without any bronzer and it brings warmth and life to my face. It is a true peach color and it compliments my yellow undertones wonderfully. I think this blush would truly compliment any skin tone or undertone, it's just that amazing. Holy Grail!

Lipstick -MAC - Velvet Teddy
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/17/2013 4:35:00 AM

I have been looking for a lipstick like this FOREVER!!! I went into MAC looking for a good nude/nuetral/natural lipstick for my NC35 skin tone. The SA suggested "Honeylove", and in my opinion it was too pink and washed me out. I didn't like it at all so I exchanged it for Velvet Teddy. It's exactly what I'm looking for - the perfect natural lip color. It's not TOO nude but it's definitely very natural. It's like one shade darker than nude and it's lovely. It's like my natural lip color but better. I pair it with MAC's dazzle glass in "Baby Sparks" ,it is sooo gorgeous. Holy Grail nude <3

Eye Shadow -MAC - Omega
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/17/2013 4:21:00 AM

Color Reference - Platinum Blonde, NC 35 I went into MAC looking for the perfect eyebrow powder. Being platinum blonde it is almost impossible to find a color that isn't too harsh or fake looking. I went into MAC and asked the SA for a good color for my brows, and she said "Cork" looked perfect for me. I went home and tried it out, it was WAY too dark and harsh for me. Although I am super blonde, my brows are naturally much darker but they aren't that dark. I went in and exchanged "Cork" for "Omega" after doing some research - and I have got to say, I LOVE it! It is sooo perfect for my brows. It seriously fills in and defines my brows without making me look like a drag queen. It's almost impossible to find the perfect brow shade for us platinum blondes - but Omega is definitely the shade! I apply this to my brows with a MAC 208 which I think is perfect. It is super dense and blends it out evenly. Not only is this the perfect brow color, but I'm sure this is gonna be gorgeous with multiple eyeshadow looks.

Lipstick -MAC - Matte - Honeylove
rated 3 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/16/2013 11:46:00 AM

I was at MAC and I was looking for a lipstick to pair with dramatic eyes and something "natural" because typically I love bold lips. I am an NC35 . pretty tan so it's almost impossible for me to find a nude that doesn't make me look like a corpse. I asked the SA to recommend a nude-ish /natural lipstick that would compliment my tan skin and she suggested this. When I tried it on at the store I loved it underneath the lights, even though it was pretty light I paired it with "Baby Sparks" dazzleglass and fell in love. I also loved how it didn't make my teeth look yellow like a lot of nudes can do. It is very pigmented and the smell and texture is divine. Unfortunately, I feel like this lipstick is too light for me. It kinda washes me out but maybe I just don't like how light my lips look. Overalll, this is a great nude for lighter skinned gals but unfortunately this doesn't suit me the way I had hoped. I am going to suggest "Velvet Teddy" if you're NC 35 and up.

Eyeliner -Stila - Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/15/2013 8:08:00 AM

Holy Bahama Momma. This is absolutely a gift from heaven, and I am not exaggerating. I am a huge eyeliner girl. I wear a cat eye everyday, regardless if I'm wearing eyeshadow or not. I have been on the hunt for my "perfect" liquid eyeliner. I found a good drugstore felt tip pen, the Maybelline's Master Precise Liner but it definitely isn't water proof let alone water resistant and if you're wearing any kind of eyeshadow it completely erases the black line you once had. Good for beginners who are trying to perfect their wing because you can go over it with a liquid liner so you have your outline as opposed to trying it with a messy liquid eyeliner from scratch. Anyways, I love liquid liner but hate the hassle that comes with it. I am very experienced in liquid liner and even to this day I still mess it up with typical applicators. What DON'T I love about this felt tip pen sent from God himself? I love the felt tip, perfect for thin liners or thick lines. I love that it is super black and waterproof. I love that it lasts forever and ever. I love that it takes half the time to apply as opposed to using a regular, messy liquid liner. Yes, it is very expensive but you will not regret your purchase and I've had mine for over a month now and it's not even close to dried out.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Ed Hardy Villain
rated 5 of 5
RachelisGreen 4/15/2013 7:43:00 AM

MMMM! can you say Holy Grail?!!? I am a huge "scent" girl. I own almost every kind of body spray, perfume, scented lotions, etc that most brands have to offer. Some of my favorite perfumes consist of Viva La Juicy, Snooki's first perfume, Coach Poppy, Ed Hardy's Born Wild, Brittany Spears' Fantasy etc. I really love fruity/floral/vanilla scents. Out of all of them, this has got to be my favorite. It is the perfect mix of fruity and there's a hint of something else I can't quite put my finger on - but it makes it that much more fantastic.I'm not gonna lie, i'm not the biggest Ed Hardy fan and I always thought their fragrances sucked. That was, until my best friend received an Ed Hardy Perfume Roller kit. It was love at first scent, and I couldn't stop smelling my wrists after I put it on. My boyfriend and I went to Perfumania, a huge perfume store that always has really good deals and fun discounts on a daily basis. They had a really good promotion - buy one, get one for $9.99 - SOLD - lol, My bottle was 75$. My boyfriend and I both got matching scents , mine was for women and his was for men (obviously).I actually love the bottle and the way that it is packaged in the tin. I also really adore the traditional style mermaid. Overall, the packaging is clever and I can not get over how bomb this stuff smells. I can't stop spraying my clothes, hair, skin, everything. Another good quality about this stuff is the longevity - it lasts FOREVER. I can smell it lingering in my hair and on my clothes hours after I sprayed it first. This is a must for me because I will spray 50 times a day if I have to keep myself smelling beautiful, and the fact that this lasts a long time saves me money in the long run.
